Recommendations to others considering the product:
ExaVault is a great system that works well but is not the cheapest. have your budget into consideration. In any other issue, is a perfect system.
Great for software vendor who needs a quick way to host files securely and easily manage security

Using the cloud FTP service makes transferring files and managing security very easy

What do you like best about the product?
Compatability with FTP clients and pricing model

So far we haven't had any issues with Exavault
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transfer of files from our suppliers to our application.
Great FTP option for businesses large and small
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Exavault FTP is that you have the option of using any FTP client (e.g. FileZilla) to connect, as well as using any web browser without having to install any plugins etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really is not much to dislike with Exavault, except perhaps whenever they raise prices, but that's expected from any vendor. I really haven't run into any issues with Exavault features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a cloud-based FTP location to share files with outside customers and vendors, and this was a perfect solution. We don't have to worry about onsite file storage issues.
Availability not great if using it in a production environment
What do you like best about the product?
One central website to maintain all your accounts
What do you dislike about the product?
Middle of day (around 3pm-5pm) and end of the month having a lot of connection issues.
User interface has a lot of white space in between list entries. This means you can see less information when looking at a list and thus there are more pages to sift through.
$100/month fee.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Use to be cost when it was $25/month. Now that it's $100/month not so much.
Not having to maintain our own ftp/sftp site.
Ideally an 'always up' server, but that hasn't been the case.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do you need 100% uptime? Do you have a lot of volume of files?
I find it easy to use, and they are very responsive when you need help.
What do you like best about the product?
The support. I had to check some things for a script to transfer files, and they helped me to create the script for Unix. Also, when we had problems transferring files to the site, their response was very fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
They can improve the View of the files. If there are many many files, you can find it tedious. The price has increased significantly four our type of use, simply because the quantity of transactions, not for the size of the space rented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't need to have a local server for the FTP services. The advantage to have it in a website, make it easier for the users to interact with the application without any other tool.
Rock Solid FTP Service

I've used Exavault for years and it's never let me down. The features and reliability have made me a very satisfied customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wasn't a big fan of the change in pricing plans awhile back but I get it, SaaS is an interesting business and you have to adapt sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Exavault to trade files with third parties as well as provide a way for customers to bulk download and upload files into our software
Easy to use!

What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to figure out how to add users and ensure they have access

Excessive pricing - moving providers soon!
What do you like best about the product?
Service works well - suitable for smaller ftp needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Price increases are way out of line with what we need - no tier for smaller usage is not good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using it for ftp.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Lower pricing back to what it was - $30/mo fit the need. Jumping to $150/mo is excessively expensive and we are researching other providers to move to. Also the requirement on this survey to 1) create an account 2) send a screenshot of us logged into the service are both ridiculous and will discourage people from participating. The only reason I moved forward with creating an account was to let you know pricing has become excessive and we intend to move providers unless this is changed.
