Cloud FTP review
What do you like best about the product?
We were able to quickly setup a FTP website with unique credentials for vendors to allow us to share information and automate data transfer
What do you dislike about the product?
We use an automated script to login and upload documents. Some clients may prefer an agent on their PC to drag and drop files in realtime.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to act as a middleman and transfer information between two of our vendors who have strict security protocols.

Needs some better permissions granularity and control for larger organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zero maintenance SFTP, cross-company and customer file sharing, allows our users and customers to directly upload very large files with no concern for managing space etc.

Easy to use. You can configure an access and share it in a couple of minutes

Collaboration is not covered in the tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing files with clients. Some clients were reluctant to share their information if we weren't able to provide a secure site where to upload their data. Having one site for all the information is helpful to have integrity of data

An efficient tool for secure file transfer outside the organization.
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is clean and efficient, and the security provided to the files is top-notch. It prevents any unauthorized access and malicious attacks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing specific, although there has been some breakdown over the years, a workaround is provided in a couple of hours once we contact support.

Sharing of software components outside the organization for bug fixing.
ExaVault is Simple and Works Well
What do you like best about the product?
Easy management of users. Simple to set up. Highly reliable. Easy to set up ssh.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't found any downsides as of yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ExaVault removed the headaches of managing our own cloud-based FTP, so we could focus on our core strengths.
A perfect file sharing solution which makes integration from CRM solutions to Loopify super easy.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to share access to relevant files. Webhooks makes it easy to create automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The service works very nicely, but we are hoping for hosting in the EU.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
File transfer is handy for large transfers and many Loopify customers prefer sending files instead of using API transfer when the as the number of records grow.

I can't say I have seen any downsides so far.

I needed an sftp site quick that wasn’t going to cost much and was easy to manage. I spent a few hours searching and ExaVault best met the conditions. After a few weeks in operation I'm happy with my choice. Tech support is good.

What do you like best about the product?
Well-designed interface, extremely responsive staff, reasonable pricing. Our employees find ExaVault fast, easy to use and reliable.

Nothing - ExaVault does everything we need for secure file transfer
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficient and secure transfer of very large data files which are too large to be shared via M365
Does exactly what I need at the perfect price
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is simple, it's easy for my clients, who are often not technical experts by trade. We need to routinely and quickly share files securely with non-technical clients, and this is far and away the easiest solution I've found.
What do you dislike about the product?
I recognize that this isn't helpful, but I don't have anything I dislike about it. It's well designed, intuitive, and well priced, so I'm a fan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed an easy way to share via SFTP to nontechnical clients, both for regulatory reasons and business process reasons. I'm fairly technical, but not so much that I'd be using my own non-GUI FTP or SFTP myself, and that wouldn't work for my clients either. This makes it essentially as easy as using dropbox to share files, but meets the regulations for security and simplicity for a good client experience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need an easy, secure, well-priced, FTP solution with a GUI, stop where you are and just use this.
