Excellent Service
What do you like best about the product?
I had the pleasure of experiencing tech support from Amy Langill last night. She is professional, helpful and a great representative of your company. She was willing to go above and beyond, and ultimately led me to a feature I was not aware of...which required a more expensive subscription...which was perfectly fine with me. A rare customer service sales person!
I use Exavault for Avideon, BenefitsApp and we've recommended and manage it for our client Scriptsourcing, and others. We recommend it.
Great product, great customer service. I appreciate the great support. It solved my problem with an elegant solution.

What do you dislike about the product?
Exavault meets all of our needs. I use it for two companies and have no issues.

What do you like best about the product?
We have been using ExaVault for over a year without any issues.
ExaVault makes it easy to define/setup users and grant the needed permissions. Managing, updating and view user activity use a well defined layout which is quickly to learn and easy to use. The provided API gives added benefits if needed so you can customize/automate tasks.
Customer support is very professional, quick to assess and resolve issues and available. Nice to be able to reach a live person quickly and get such quality assistance.

There is nothing to dislike with ExaVault.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our in-house sFTP solution worked great, but had single points of failure if we lost power or internet. We moved to ExaVault in order to remove these points of failure and improve overall uptime.
Great so far
What do you like best about the product?
We needed an SFTP server so our cloud ERP provider could automate sending us some files. Rather than install one locally and have to manage it and secure it, $20/month seemed like a safer and easier solution. Exavault was one of the cheapest and it was easy to set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only been using it a few days but so far so good. If things change I'll update my review.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems so far. We don't have to deal with setting up an internal server and keeping it secure.
So Easy to Use!
What do you like best about the product?
We have no IT department and we were in need of a cloud-based SFTP service. I'm just the marketing guy, and with their help, we were up and running in no time! ExaVault runs so smoothly I never even have to worry about our file transfers. I love a vendor that works so well I forget they're even there.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints. I recommend ExaVault to everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ExaVault is the keypoint for sharing data between our eCommerce website and our ERP. They are a critical piece of the information loop passing data every 5-minutes.

A great complement to our service offering
What do you like best about the product?
We needed a way to facilitate landlords requesting and tenants providing documents simply and securely
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing that we dislike about the service. We're fans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We provide an open ended request for documents from renters. And, it had to be idiot proof. With ExaVault we provide that service. Not even one customer service call about how to ask and see documents.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using ExaVault for a number of years now, at my current and past employer. The service is very easy to use and much better than hosting your own FTP server! We have hundreds of external users sending and receiving files via ExaVault and I've never experienced any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I wish ExaVault had SAML / SSO login but I think I heard that's being worked on so I'll be patient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company had a pair of load balanced FTP servers on our internal network and they needed patching and updating of the FTP server software... that's a bit of a waste of time when you look at it against using ExaVault for the same thing.
Professional service application for a non IT Guy!
What do you like best about the product?
Our goals were to enable our key customers to click on an imbedded link on our website to create a safe transfer of documents from our PDI Software System. Thus far the set-up has been relatively simple as my expertise is not IT but more in operational leadership!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike as of yet with ExaVault!

We have made the transfer of important files secure and seamless with this application.

Besides file sharing, we love the service for backing up crucial data
cloud based file transfer enables our ETL processes
What do you like best about the product?
We needed an SFTP server in the cloud. As a non-profit organization, we are pretty sensitive to price, but data security was also important because we're using the SFTP server as part of ETL processes that pass data from one cloud system to another. Exavault pricing is low enough to keep us from managing our own vm with service packs and patches and we felt we could trust the security. The web based interface was of secondary importance to us, but we're already finding ways to put it to use. Permissions are fine grained enough for our uses, but not overly complicated.
What do you dislike about the product?
An integration with Google Cloud Storage would simplify our processes, but we can use our existing functions to pull data from an SFTP server.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Exavault to automate data transfers between cloud systems. We also plan to use it with various data sharing initiatives involving third party data providers and other organizations.
18 months down the track, still using it, day in day out.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, drag and drop abilities. Folder operations are straightforward when pruning and grafting. Has been rock solid and I've never experienced an outage (touch wood). We use some of the api and private key aspects and they were simple to set up and maintain. The special link creation with expiration is very handy for one off file sharing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I have is with really large files and the Web Interface. It is not as fast as a native FTP and/or as reliable. (I am talking 10Gb+ files). So best use a proper FTP client if doing very large transfers. Not a biggie, you just need to remember to do it when uploading say a vmware OVF template or something and letting the other end know the same for downloading it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it for interface files between various applications in the cloud and onprem, general IT sharing of files, images etc. It provides us with a bit of an airgap on our systems that we don't have to worry about (is it patched, are their any vulnerabilities)
