Simplicity and priced apprpriately
What do you like best about the product?
The price point of this product is very appropriate and in line with market value for a file-sharing software. Having control over the user experience is very important to us and the user doesn't even have to download the software to use it, making it very friendly. The permissions are also very seamless and easy to manage and function well with existing file transfer protocols. Another useful feature is that you can sign up for notifications when someone has accessed the file which is helpful with tracking. The product is also more efficient and secure than dropbox which puts our organization at ease when sharing files externally. The product is very well designed and appropriately developed. We hope to continue to use this product for a long time. The user interface is also very intuitive and the training required is minimal, if any at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
Another con is that you only get one notification when someone first views the file but not repeatedly. Getting repeat notifications would be helpful. Improving the log in functionality would really make this product over the top. This doesn't impact usability however. We haven't use the customer service system so I can not comment on that at the time. There isn't much else to say about our dislikes at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A secure version of dorpbox to share files externally and with other organizations
Simplified and Cost Effective
What do you like best about the product?
We are a nonprofit organization centered at the University of Georgia and with current times, we are looking for the most bang for our buck. We currently work with a school district who utilizes Exavault and it works perfectly for our needs and within our budget.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no components of Exavault that our team dislikes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our organization often shares secure documents and data files with customers. Exavault is easy to use and easy for customers on the other end to utilize as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a simplified way to transfer secure documents between customers while also remaining budget aware, this is the tool to consider!
Exavault - a simple and reliable FTP service
What do you like best about the product?
HCC have been with Exavault for a good time. Your service is great. It is super easy to ‘self serve’.
I regularly (1-2 times a year) have problems with the corporate creditcards I have to use, but we always come out on top
Big Thanks

Best File Sharing SFTP
What do you like best about the product?
It's a secure easy to use file transfer solution for any company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very rarely I faced issue with maintenance time slots. Otherwise no challenge faced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some of our clients wanted to ensure that their data is safe while online transfer. It is very easy to share huge data with clients or vendors using ExaVault.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The cost may seem high at first but it is worth if you are looking for easy data transfer/sharing/storage.
Excellent service
What do you like best about the product?
I think your product is great. I’m sure you have plenty of competition outside on the internet (I haven’t even check) but ExaVault was the first service I used of this kind and it has met all my expectations. I’m sure you are working hard to improve and make a better solution and I hope you get there.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't find anything I dislike, but of course, that doesn't mean that I would like more features, for example, more webhooks. What I mean is It would be great to have one webhook for each folder/account
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FTM Management in Exavault is really easy so I think that that help in our day to day FTP tasks
To be sure that ExaVault is always there and you don't have to check if you need more Machine (RAM, CPU) its also great. At the end what I'm trying to say is having an FTP as a Service is great
Webhook this day roks so that functionality helps us to maintain our data integration process almost as it would be in real-time

Sold out. Tripling prices.
What do you like best about the product?
I used to be able to use Exavault as a secure place to store the encrypted backups of my customers data. i could organize all my individual backup sets into customer folders, and jump on yesterdays data if a customer reported a problem. The availablity to see the data from anywhere I happen to be, and the ease of setting up automated inbound transfers using sqlbackupandftp used to be its most prominent feature. Now they have sold out to files.com and the monthly cost *TRIPLED*. Searching for a more cost effective alternative.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like a few more included sets of credentials, but I can work with what I have., I'd also like the price to stay at $50 a month, not $150.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
server storage space volumes, not needing to configure an s3 bucket for my backup system. Client backups
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Beware of sudden price changes
SFTP service thats easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of setting up shared folders for customers and colleagues to upload files to.
As an administrator you can set the time of expiry and validation which is a great.
We have a cancellation procedure that we use ExaVault to send customer files to and we set a time limit when the link for them to download expires. The customer can then download and we can use the report as evidence the customer has all their files back and what they need.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are sometimes limits to the file size you can transfer using the Web so have to use FileZilla. This can b a little frustrating so not sure if I have done something wrong but its the part where you grab a file and drag accross to the upload folder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The fact its a secure system. In the past we just used FTP but the fact its secure helps as this is what customers want.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
works great and we use along side FileZilla. The secir
ExaVault is the best File Sharing Service of 2019
What do you like best about the product?
ExaVault is the fastest, most reliable file sharing service that is out there right now. If I need to send anything to my colleagues, say a large file or a lot of photos, ExaVault gets that done in the fastest amount of time. The price is totally worth it, and I will stay subscribed for a very long time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is a bit up there, it costs about $100 a month for the basic plan. It can add up a lot, but I would say its totally worth it. They also send a lot of email notifications, so I would recommend disabling those after you get started. Other than those, there are really no complaints!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most files my team and I send are too big to attach to an email, because it takes too long to send and download, so ExaVault was our answer. This service beats all others like mega.nz that can take hours to upload and download. ExaVault is on top of the game, no doubt!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't go for the free other slow file share services, ExaVault is worth it 100% and I can vouch as I have used all of the services and this is by far the best one!
Great Product for a great price!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to securely send files to my customers with a very intuitive and easy to use interface. We have some employees who aren't very tech savvy so it's nice that Exavault is very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the master account has to have the same name as the URL. I'd prefer those to be configurable to be different.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We provide training services and need to email our students with their training materials. Some organizations have been stripping the attachments. Exavault provides us a way to get the training materials to the students without having the attachments stripped. It also gives us a way to send .jar and .exe files to them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You get a free 30 day trial to evaluate the product so you have nothing to lose by giving it a try. I'm positive you'll be impressed, as we were.
