Elevating Workvivo's Customer Advocacy
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how easy G2.com is to use and how supportive the team is. I like that G2.com is always innovating new ways to support its customers. Their focus on LLMs shows they're aware of market trends, and the introduction of the Claude MCP was really helpful. I also loved how easy it was to create content from the Software Awards. The initial setup was very easy, and I find G2.com valuable for capturing reviews, G2 badges, Grid reports, and marketing intelligence. It helps us showcase why Workvivo wins and makes it easy for customers to share their appreciation, strengthening our competitive positioning.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love if the approach used for the Software Awards could be followed for quarterly reports and badges. I would also like deeper insights in the analytics tab, preferably prediction insights to get ahead of any negative sentiment or competitive risk.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2.com helps us easily share customer testimonials and showcases how much our customers love us, strengthening our competitive edge. It also boosts our visibility in LLM searches and simplifies the management of testimonials for our win/loss program.
Badges make a big difference for credibility
What do you like best about the product?
Intent data, for sure. It gives our team a clear picture of who’s actually looking for a tool, instead of making guesses. We have integrated the tool with Factors. It’s made our outreach more focused and easier to communicate. The G2 badges have also been great for building trust, especially with new prospects. The price is on the higher side so it might not be ideal for small teams. The support team is quick and responsive whenever required. Overall performance is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is on the higher side. While the intent data is useful, it can sometimes feel a bit broad and could use better filtering. It also took me some time to fully understand how to use the intent data effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been a major help in identifying which companies are researching solutions like ours, so our outreach can be more focused rather than completely cold.
Navigable UI, Efficient Setup, Needs Easier Updates
What do you like best about the product?
I think the UI is very navigable, making it easy to find all the information I need. It also simplifies updating this information from my end. The initial setup was very straightforward, and the representative helped make it smooth. G2.com helps connect potential buyers to our products and provides an honest opinion on what to expect.
What do you dislike about the product?
Making changes to the product information could be easier. There are lots of changes and releases that happen within my product, and I'd like to find a better way to use G2.com to keep potential buyers informed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2.com connects potential buyers to our products and provides honest opinions. It makes finding information easy, ensuring it's updated from my end.
Easy-to-Use Sentiment Tool, but SEO Visibility and Review Trust Need Work
What do you like best about the product?
I think it's a great platform for people to quickly understand the sentiment towards a specific product they're researching about. The UI is easy to use, and the tool is decently built.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's not ranking highly on Google anymore. Besides, I think there is also a feeling of paid / inorganic reviews top the organic ones, which might turn some people off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think it's doing a good job of showcasing your product to a prospective buyer. And the badges also seem to be of importance - almost all US based SaaS has G2 badges which seems to be like a trust factor.
Good Potential, Needs Better IDP Integration Documentation
What do you like best about the product?
I found the initial setup of G2.com to be fairly simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't find G2.com to solve many issues for my company; instead, it caused some problems. The internal IDP and out-of-the-box integration with other IDP providers were not satisfactory. The SSO part didn't work as expected based on the guides, suggesting an improvement in the documentation is needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2.com doesn't solve much for me; it causes issues. I needed assistance setting it up.

Powerful Prospect Insights with Seamless Setup

I really like G2.com's Buyer Intent data, which helps us capture what the prospect account is looking for. The competitive comparisons feature is also valuable as it shows which features prospects are comparing with other vendors. Additionally, the competitive battleground and churns analysis are beneficial. I find the initial setup of G2.com easy, which makes the process smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?

Detailed, Objective Reviews from Verified Users
What do you like best about the product?
The reviews are detailed and objective, and they come from verified users with first-hand experience. Even though there’s an incentive to leave a review, that doesn’t mean it has to be positive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I understand that, like any company, G2 needs to make money. That said, the platform’s recommendations seem designed to favor paid account holders over products that simply have reviews on G2.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With complex tools, it’s often difficult to find a clear breakdown of the different parameters buyers want to see when comparing options. The way G2 structures its reviews is set up to provide more insight into those details than you typically get from a standard review or testimonial.
Essential for Buyer Insights and Social Proof
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is the Buyer Intent data, which provides actionable insights into which accounts are actively researching our solution, alongside the G2 Grid Reports, which offer powerful third-party validation and social proof for our brand.
What do you dislike about the product?
The My.G2 portal could be a bit more user-friendly; managing review campaigns and navigating the BI and profile data layers feels a little unintuitive at times. The data filters available are limited, and since the data export options are also limited, we often find ourselves needing a hand from our CSM to get the information we need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By providing access to Buyer Intent data, they allow us to see which accounts are researching our category or solutions, helping us focus our sales efforts on the right leads. Additionally, their G2 Grid Reports help us establish credibility and social proof.
