Boosts Credibility and Delivers High-Quality Leads from the Right Audience
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about G2 Marketing Solutions is that it actually helps in getting visibility in front of the right audience. People who come through G2 are usually already looking for a solution, so the leads are more relevant. The reviews also add a lot of trust many times prospects mention they saw our profile on G2 before reaching out. Overall, it has helped us with credibility and getting better quality inquiries compared to generic marketing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing specific to dislike. It’s been a good experience overall and serves the purpose well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 helps in building trust through reviews and connects us with the right audience, which improves our lead quality.
Diverse Features with Dedicated Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like that G2.com is easy to use and appreciate the great CSM team. I love how I can independently set up different revenue generation streams and campaigns and manage everything in the platform directly without needing much support. But when support is needed, the CSM team is super quick to act. They really ensure we get the most out of our G2 offering and really go the extra mile.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is not the cleanest, but it's improving. The menu bar on the left is sometimes a struggle, notifications won't disappear after x-ing them and some features and functionalities are hard to find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use G2.com to source customer feedback, collect user reviews, and manage competitive marketing. It helps with competitive positioning and allows me to diversify review generation channels independently and quickly.
Credible, Data-Driven Targeting - But Impact Depends on Review Volume
What do you like best about the product?
I like how G2 Marketing Solutions leverages real user reviews and intent data to help companies build trust and reach high-intent buyers. It makes marketing more data-driven and credible, while also improving targeting and conversion by engaging prospects who are already researching solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of G2 Marketing Solutions is that the reliance on user reviews means results can vary depending on review volume and quality, and it may take time to see strong impact if your product doesn’t yet have a large presence on the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 Marketing Solutions helps solve the challenge of reaching and converting high-intent buyers by providing verified user reviews and intent data. It reduces guesswork in targeting, builds credibility through social proof, and shortens the sales cycle. As a result, it helps improve our company's lead quality, increase our credibility leading to higher conversion rates, and make marketing efforts more data-driven and effective.
Empowers Campaigns with Room for Moderation Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like using G2.com for its flexible campaign tools, which feature an agile dashboard that lets me build and monitor campaigns easily. I appreciate G2's strong brand credibility, as we can use G2 awards and badges across our website, which helps drive acquisition. The AI visibility tool is also valuable because I can share its insights with the SEO team. Additionally, G2.com helps us reliably generate verified customer reviews at scale and reduces the manual effort of sourcing social proof, which is really beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
Moderation process is our main pain point: it can feel opaque and inconsistent at times, with limited context on why certain reviews have been rejected which affects campaigns results. Also the moderation process is too long (sometimes 7 days).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use G2 to run incentivized campaigns, monitor reviews, track ratings, generate verified customer reviews at scale and benchmark performance against competitors, reducing the manual effort of sourcing social proof.
Empowers with Authentic Customer Insights
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that G2.com is a place where customers get to share their authentic experiences.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the categories quite broad. For instance, we are in the contract management category for legal tech, and there are a lot of contract management solutions in there that seem quite broad and not as relevant to our customer base. So we're essentially competing against people that aren't really our competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2.com helps us collect third-party reviews from customers, showcasing their experiences to potential buyers and attracting more visitors to our site, especially those seeking legal tech. We use these reviews to support our marketing, CX and Sales efforts, which add a lot of weight to our claims.
G2 Builds Prospect Trust with a Strong UI and Fast Innovation
What do you like best about the product?
G2's marketing solutions help build up trust with our prospects when they are considering using our software. G2 has become the best reviews platform out there in my opinion. The UI of the platform is strong and you all are innovating very fast!
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots of effort to maintain a high rating. Hard to figure out if our reviews are legitamate. The ROI is a bit hard to track as well, but overall G2's marketing solutions are strong and needed!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping our prospects find us and trust us. Visibility on G2 in a positive light is very needed for our market
Empowers Community Building and Product Understanding
What do you like best about the product?
We’ve had a positive experience using this platform in our day-to-day operations. One of its biggest strengths is how easy it is to use and how effectively it streamlines workflows without adding unnecessary complexity. The interface feels intuitive, adoption has been fairly smooth, and it supports collaboration well across teams.
What I appreciate most is that it addresses practical business needs and improves efficiency in a meaningful way. It’s helped increase visibility, save time on routine tasks, and encourage a more structured way of working. Overall, the experience has been stable, and the platform continues to provide real value for our team.
The main areas for improvement are a few usability refinements, along with places where added flexibility or faster support would make the experience even better. Even with those points, the value delivered is strong, and I would recommend it to teams looking for a dependable solution.

What do you dislike about the product?
One area I think G2.com could improve is the testimonial side. Right now, it feels much more focused on reviews, and it would be great if we could also collect and showcase testimonials. In addition, adding features that let us compare reviews across similar products would be really helpful. That kind of comparison would support product management and internal teams by making it easier to understand how we’re doing relative to competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use G2.com to read reviews related to my products, and it also works as a platform where customers can share their experiences and help build a community. It deepens our understanding of how the products are actually being used, and it provides competitive intelligence along with clearer insight into usage and capabilities.

Empowers Informed Software Decisions
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how straightforward and transparent the whole experience on G2.com is. When I land on a product page, I immediately get a sense of how people feel about it, including the good, the bad, and everything in between. I appreciate that reviews come from verified users, providing a trustworthy experience instead of just anonymous noise. I also love the ability to create reports, which give me a quick visual snapshot of where a product stands in the market. This feature is incredibly useful when I'm short on time. The transparency piece is huge for me because it builds trust when I read reviews that are relatable, especially from people in similar roles or environments as mine. It makes the feedback feel relevant rather than generic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Yeah. No. Platform is perfect. If I'm being honest, the sheer volume of reviews can sometimes be overwhelming. So I think maybe a synthesis of the reviews. I know that they are trying to do it in different ways. It could be a bit surface level, and you know, some reviews, just say, love this tool. Works great. And things of that nature. So that's not really G2.com's fault. It's on the reviewers, but maybe prompting users to get deeper behind in the review process could help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2.com helps me cut through the noise by providing honest user reviews. It makes software evaluation transparent and informed, reducing the risk of bad decisions.
"The Best View of the Market (For a Premium Price)
What do you like best about the product?
Real-Time Intent Data: It pinpoints which companies are actively researching you or your competitors, so sales teams can act quickly while interest is high.
Peer-Powered Trust: It puts authentic user reviews ahead of corporate marketing, delivering the “social proof” that today’s B2B buyers look for.
Actionable Integrations: It sends this data straight into tools like Salesforce or HubSpot, turning high-level insights into clear, immediate sales follow-ups.

The “Pay-to-Play” Perception
This is the most common grievance I hear. Even though G2 says reviews are organic, how visible those reviews become seems closely tied to your subscription level.
Gatekeeping Features: Key tools—such as adding a “Request a Demo” button or seeing who’s viewing your profile (Intent Data)—are kept behind expensive premium tiers.
Badge Fatigue: Some critics argue that G2’s “Leader” badges can feel less like a reflection of software quality and more like a reflection of a company’s ability to run large review-generation campaigns (often incentivized with gift cards).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem: Lack of Trust in Marketing Claims. The issue is that modern buyers, especially Gen Z and Millennials, are skeptical of whitepapers and “vendor-speak,” and they’d rather hear directly from peers.
The G2 Solution: Verified Peer Reviews & G2 Badges. G2 provides a platform for honest, third-party validated feedback, along with awards and rankings like “Leader” or “High Performer.”
The Benefit: You gain immediate social proof. Using G2 badges in your marketing helps “de-risk” the purchase for the buyer, which can lead to higher conversion rates on your website and landing pages.
