Simple Interface, Exemplary Support
What do you like best about the product?
G2.com is the global leader in review platforms for tech solutions, making our presence indispensable. I also like that the platform is simple yet powerful. The human interface with the G2.com staff is another strong point for me. They are always available and responsive to support us, whether it's to create a review campaign, improve our pages, integrate our tools, or try new pilot projects. Moreover, the initial setup was very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main drawback of G2 reviews is that users can leave very, very short reviews, just a few words. They are not usable for creating content or for improving our solution. It is necessary and imperative that there be a minimum number of characters (especially if it's a review rewarded with a gift card...). Another point is the presence of G2.com in Europe... for now, G2.com is very present in the American market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use G2.com for brand visibility, competitive analysis, and demand generation.
Outstanding Discoverability and Instant Insights
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the fact that I can incentivize our customers to leave honest reviews for our brand on G2.com. It's also fantastic that the review score updates instantly, allowing us to see our current standing immediately. Moreover, I appreciate the ability to see how we rank against our competitors. Additionally, the team is great, and the domain ranking is impressive. The initial setup was relatively easy too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think some customers write very candid and positive reviews while scoring us lower. Sometimes, there is a confusion in what the score should be and that's not revertible really.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2.com enhances VEED's discoverability for potential AI video software customers and provides proof of customer satisfaction.
Authentic Reviews Turned Into Trust-Building, Data-Driven B2B Content
What do you like best about the product?
G2 Marketing Solutions excels at turning authentic user reviews into compelling, data-driven marketing content that builds immediate trust with B2B buyers. The best is the customer support I have been dealing with Michael Lydon he is the best!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it feels like you need a lot of reviews before the insights and features really start working for you, which can be tough for newer or smaller brands.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of buyers not trusting your marketing claims by putting real customer reviews front and center, so we spend less time convincing and more time closing deals.
Helps Me Understand the Product More Deeply
What do you like best about the product?
It helps me get to know the product more deeply and understand its pros and cons.
What do you dislike about the product?
They should give an appreciation token to all the members who are participating. That way, more people will want to participate, and you’ll get better feedback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If I have a problem with something, I can address it here in the survey, and they convey that message to the product team. That way, it becomes easier and more efficient.

G2 MS makes it easy to identify the software that best fits the solution you’re trying to implement. Since it’s web-based, the implementation is a no-brainer. It also helps you build a brand around your solutions and create a pipeline outside the platform by working with G2 partners. With AI implementation, it’s easier to make data-driven decisions. G2 customer support facilitates any issues you may have. This is one of those solutions you will use daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it feels like G2 reviews are too moderated.

Our sales team benefits from the valuable content and reports produced by G2.com, based on review data about our products and comparisons with competitors.

Nothing comes to mind
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use G2.com for building awareness and visibility in our software categories. It helps us to be discovered by prospects that are researching vendors. We also utilize the research reports, badges, and competitive comparison pages in our product marketing and in sales conversations. And we have utilized the intent data for targeted campaigns.

G2 is very helpful in letting me know information about different softwares.

Great for product feedback and reputation management
What do you like best about the product?
To me, the absolute best thing about G2 Marketing Solutions is how it shifts the entire narrative from corporate sales pitches to genuine, peer-driven trust. It’s one thing for a company to claim their software is the best, but it’s infinitely more powerful when actual daily users are the ones validating it.
What I really appreciate the most is their Buyer Intent data. Instead of casting a massive net and hoping your marketing catches the right person, it lets you see exactly which companies are actively researching your product or category in real-time. It completely transforms marketing from a blind guessing game into a targeted, timely conversation with people who actually need what you're offering.

What do you dislike about the product?
If I had to call out a flaw, it’s that it requires a huge premium budget and ongoing elbow grease just to see a real return on investment. The platform’s algorithm seems to heavily favor recency, which forces your team to constantly chase clients for fresh reviews so the profile doesn’t start to look stale. And while the buyer-intent data is a strong concept, it can be noisy: you may be able to see which company is researching you, but you still have to play detective to figure out who the actual buyer is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At its core, G2 solves the massive problem of buyer skepticism in B2B software—nobody really trusts a polished corporate sales deck anymore. By putting authentic, verified user reviews front and center, it effectively replaces modern marketing fatigue with genuine social proof.
The biggest direct benefit for me is how it completely transforms and focuses our outreach efforts. Instead of burning budget and energy cold-calling people who don't care, I can use their buyer intent data to exclusively reach out to companies that are actively looking for a solution. Ultimately, it drastically shortens the sales cycle because half the work of building trust is already done by our own happy customers before we even say hello.

Buyer Intent Data and LinkedIn Integration That Save Time and Sharpen Targeting
What do you like best about the product?
Buyer intent data is the biggest value for me. I check it every day to see which companies are looking at us versus our competitors, and it’s far more effective than cold calling because I can tell the sales team exactly who’s actually in a buying cycle right now.
The LinkedIn integration is another major time saver. It lets us retarget people who visited our G2 page without me having to manually upload lists every week. It’s pricey, but it genuinely helps us avoid wasting ad budget on people who don’t care.

What do you dislike about the product?
I’ve had a few happy customers get their reviews flagged or rejected over tiny technicalities, which is awkward to explain. I really wish the backend were smoother and that the overall process for customers felt more seamless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to have to guess which companies were genuinely interested, and we ended up wasting a ton of time on cold leads. Now we can see exactly who’s comparing us to competitors before they even talk to us.
Great Hands-On Insights, Though Sometimes Too Heavily Edited
What do you like best about the product?
Did you do a really good job of getting actual hands-on opinions of how software works to present to people?
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it feels edited down, so it doesn’t fully reflect my opinion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You know when I go ahead and use GT marketing solutions it's really for me to look up what is worthwhile out there for me to use and it helps me make technological decisions, sometimes I evaluate technology for my clients and this has been helpful.
