Strategic Support and Data Driven Visibility
What do you like best about the product?
My G2 account team is extremely supportive and proactive. They do a great job partnering with us and providing specific data to help us succeed on the platform and rank competitively.
I also appreciate the review format, it’s easy to quickly understand what users like and dislike because the feedback is structured and concise rather than overly long. The badge system is another highlight, as it makes promoting our G2 status on social media simple.

What do you dislike about the product?
It is very hard to move up in ranking compared to other review sites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 helps us increase our competitive visibility and build buyer trust through credible, third party reviews and category rankings.

What do you like best about the product?
We love how easy it is to find and extract social proof from G2 to use across various marketing channels.

The UI in general of G2 can be a bit clunky.

G2 helps us improve brand visibility and social trust, and also helps us better understand our buyers and what they look for when making purchasing decisions.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how simple it is to generate quality reviews that highlight how real people experience our product. G2 is an important touch point that strengthens how our brand shows up in search and across LLMs, and it helps us to instill trust in buyers before they ever even meet with us.
What do you dislike about the product?
The admin section is a little confusing sometimes. There are so many options and the ones we have activated look the same as the ones we don’t. Sometimes I’m afraid to click on things because I might accidentally turn on a paid feature without wanting to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 allows us to outshine our competitors in a place where buyers and consultants are searching for solutions.
Noisy signals - Needs a lot of manual work to make useful.
What do you like best about the product?
Very messy schema - Difficult to parse. Given G2's approach to thousands of overlapping and duplicate categories unfortunately making the data useful is a massive undertaking, otherwise you're drowning in noise. Additionally doesn't handle Enterprises well given the massive # of false positives - Again they give the raw data but there's a massive transform and organize on your end that needs to be undertake. We tried to connect them directly w/ DemandBase and both service teams dragged their feet to get anything usable going.
What do you dislike about the product?
See above - Overall signals are too messy given G2's category strategy. Support was somewhat light to get going, and as such I think we're vastly underutilizing the capabilities we pay for.

The rankings seem a bit off and for everything we've done, it hasn't seemed to help us in the rankings area.

We would like to be able to rank higher up compared to our competitors. The G2 Profile helps showcase what you're all about.
G2 is a reliable business tool marketplace for B2B marketers
What do you like best about the product?
G2 is helping us market ourselves as the elite platform in our industry. We are able to collect reviews quickly through G2 and also can get support super fast! It's helpful that we can create our own landing pages and collect our reviews ourselves, instead of relying on the review platform, which is an option that some review sites limit to.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the scores can be trivial, e.g. why is G2 calculating scores for software based on founding start date, # of employees, estimated revenue, etc. Those factors are less relevant than customer sentiment but still are weighed heavily.

What I appreciate most about G2 is how it gives real voices to real users. Instead of flashy marketing claims, you get honest feedback from people who’ve lived with the software — what works, what doesn’t, and why it matters. What do you dislike about the product?
One of the challenges with G2 is that the review-reward system can sometimes skew the focus toward quantity over depth. Some reviews are very short or generic just to earn the incentive, which makes it harder to find genuinely detailed and insightful feedback.

What do you like best about the product?
G2 has honest, genuine reviews from people who actually use the product or application in practice. Because of that, I trust the reviews on G2.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t think I have anything negative to say about G2. They’re always on top of everything and consistently stay responsive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whenever I have questions or doubts about something, I turn to G2. It’s been beneficial for me and for my organization.

What do you like best about the product?
G2 makes it easy to understand a product from a user’s perspective. I find the reviews especially helpful because they lay out real pros and cons in a straightforward way. It’s also convenient to compare different tools in one place, so I don’t have to spend hours doing separate research.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I haven’t found anything to dislike so far. My experience with G2 has been smooth, and the platform does a great job of providing useful and trustworthy information
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me choose the right cold email tools by showing real user experiences. I can quickly see what works and what doesn’t, which saves me time and helps me avoid unreliable platforms.
