The one stop shop for all your softwares decisions
What do you like best about the product?
The variety of software categories to choose from, the authenticity of reviews, the access to and extremely responsive customer support, and the ease of integration into CRM systems and product apps made it extremely easy to implement G2 into our existing process and blend it into our day-to-day digital marketing efforts. I also love that the software provides badges and reports that give real-time insights into our company as well as the category's performance every quarter, which in turn influences our business strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not really a dislike but it would be great if we could increase the $ gift card cap per review on G2 incentives review campaigns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an admin, G2 helps communicate our company's benefits and services to prospects and also provides insightful information into buyer intent and category performance.
Great resource for gathering social proof
What do you like best about the product?
G2 is a great resource for generating reviews, tracking competitors, and getting better traction with our target markets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using the campaigns can be cumbersome if you have strict security guidelines and will have to add them to your list of providers and data processors. That is more of an internal thing, but has been a challenge for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 is helping us gather reviews and manage our presence in the online marketplaces where we want to target top personas we work with.
Easy to manage
What do you like best about the product?
G2 makes it really easy to use and manage to reviews. There are a lot of integration options that make it easy to give internal teams visibility. The support you get from the G2 account management is really helpful and quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some options can get a little complex with all the customizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to collect reviews in an organization and automated way, then be able to share them on our website/social.
Easy to work with & Great insights!
What do you like best about the product?
G2 has been a great way for us to gain insights from our customers. It helps provide a seamless way for them to provide us feedback while also boosting our brand on their platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
When leaving surveys or asking for surveys, they can be a bit time consuming (even 3-4 minutes of questions can be a lot for some customers). I don't mind too much but I know that has been a downside.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps people discover our product and it's a great way for us to recieve feedback about our product.
Good for Reviews, but Not Great for Lead Gen
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it shows social proof for my product if someone is looking on G2. I also like the badges it gives that we can display on our site.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had a great experience with their lead gen programs. We get leads that aren't ready to buy very often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is giving us a credible way to show social proof which helps improve our conversion rates on our landing pages.
Some good aspects for building brand credibility
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the email review campaigns to customers which is handled internally with G2. This has helped us build out our rankings within various grids, which of course builds our brand awareness and credibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that beyond building solid customer reviews, ranking in grids and gathering badges - there are no real upsides for actual lead generation.

G2 has an easy to use platform for my reviewers.

The dashboard has an easy to use interface and I can quickly see the status of reviews !
What do you dislike about the product?
When utilizing Monty sometimes the information it regurgitates is incorrect and leads the clients in circles.

They provide our clients with a platform to share their feedback with us and create UGC about our product, helping us to further improve.

G2 has shown potential customers that our product is reliable and loved by our current customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
There has been nothing that I found that I do not like about G2.

G2 helps us with marketing efforts to show our great reputation with our users.
Great Platform—But Is It Worth the Cost?
What do you like best about the product?
Overall, account managers have been responsive and knowledgeable. G2's portals make setting up a profile and running review campaigns incredibly simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their asking price for a premium landing page is absurd. You're better off with a free listing and funding your own review campaign
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 has helped increase the credibility of our business by providing a high-quality platform for honest and well-vetted reviews. I've tried other listing sites and their review verification process left much to be desired.
Easy to use with Powerful Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to use and integrate with our other systems. It was so quick to get up and running with G2 and very cool to see the data flowing into our systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I have noticed so far is the solution tagging can be a bit confusing when you have a lot of solutions/products like we do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 is helping us to improve intent signals for potential customers and current customers. This helps us to know when someone is in the market for our solutions quicker giving us the upper hand.
