Variety of solutions for unique needs
What do you like best about the product?
When you need to figure out what solutions will work best, G2 reps are there to assist you. They offer webinars or individual meetings to discuss your company's needs and what you are trying to accomplish. Setting up and running a campaign is fairly easy, not to mention the ability for a reviewer to update their review.
What do you dislike about the product?
It feels that our dedicated rep changes frequently, and when we need to contact someone about a real issue, it is hard to receive a timely response. It is also difficult at times to identify reviewers in order to address challenges. We had a customer who frequently updated their negative review and it would push that review to the top.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to utilize badges as social proof. It helps these are updated frequently to show these are current and not outdated leadership positions within our category.
Using G2 both for saas solutions and to advertise!
What do you like best about the product?
G2 helps us reach out demographic in an easy, fast way - we use it daily to connect with our target market. They also have excellent customer support if you're looking to find a saas solution to business problems
What do you dislike about the product?
N/A no complaints! only potential ask is some software solutions can be missing and the number of features could expand

Helps us connect with a niche market and helps us find software solutions internally - great sales and marketing platform overall
Great solution.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use (as an administrator) and implementation are impressive. We definitively want to further use G2 marketing solutions in 2025 so we can get more out of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There seems to be more friction for users to give reviews on G2 than other platforms. We find it harder to gather reviews from our clients because of that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to gather more customer reviews because social proof is key in our industry.
Abundance of Tools & Support
What do you like best about the product?
Our account team is extremely helpful in strategy, advice, planning and support. They are truly an extension of our team! We've also been impressed with all of the different tools and resources available with our subscription that not only help us gather reviews but action on those reviews to assist multiple teams internally from marketing to sales to customer service and beyond. There is so much we can do and we've only barely scratched the surface!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really think of anything I've disliked about working with G2
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 Buyer Intent gives us the data we need to target customers based on where they are in their buying journey and provide solutions that are targeted to their needs.
Great Crowdsourcing Software
What do you like best about the product?
Using G2 has given me the ability to increase brand awareness through ads and badges. I have used Capterra's PPC platform, and it was very expensive with no measurable results. With G2, I can see who has engaged with my ad, who is in the market, and what software they are comparing. This makes it very useful for our sales team to use in their outreach. The customer support is honestly one of the best in the industry. I love my CSM!
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to license content for use. We already pay a lot to use the platform and having that additional expense is hard to justify.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increase visibility and knowing who is in the market
G2 is the gold standard
What do you like best about the product?
G2 has done an amazing job building out their offerings, diversifying away from being "just a review platform" to offering paid category promotions, licensed reports and grids, badges, buyer intent, customizable reference pages, and so much more. I've also felt very supported by the G2 team at every step along the way, even being connected to additional resources like folks who lead enablement trainings and facilitate technical support. I've had a remarkably positive experience with G2 over the past 2.5 years.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love how often our account rep/CSM has been swapped on us, but it's not uncommon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 provides a hub for 3rd party validation of our software, in addition to creating content (reports and reference pages) and passing through buyer intent signals.

Powerful marketing tool if leveraged correctly
What do you like best about the product?
You can see where you rank on specific aspects of your business, so even if you don't have as many reviews as your competitors, you can leverage those areas where you outperform your competition.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since the review process requires some time and gmail addresses aren't allowed to review, it can be difficult to get reviews.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives us marketing resources and brand credibility.

What do you like best about the product?
The support we get from our dedicated CSM truly helps us get the most out of our package with G2.
What do you dislike about the product?
The algorithms for category ranking, and the complexity of the categories, make it tough to understand how to work toward earning specific accolades and badges without reading a lot of dense articles. Of course I understand that a certain amount of this exists to keep things unbiased and fair.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to capture real customer voice (credited and anonymous) in a trustworthy way. We were looking to ensure our market presence and value was reflected in a balanced way against our competitors.

What do you like best about the product?
G2 has been great for increasing visibility and differentiating our software from competitors. The platform offers multiple methods for driving reviews and analytics for viewing rankings in the marketplace. The account reps and support team are very responsive and quick to offer tips and assistance for improving profiles and garnering new reviews. G2 also offers intergrations that give us a real time view of companies that are reviewing our G2 profile so we can identify and act on new opportunities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our experience with G2 has been mostly positive. We had one instance where an unfair review was given and felt the appeal process was too restrictive.

It is expanding our market visibility and notoriety, and helping us to position our products effectively against our competition.
