Amazing Resource for Sales and Marketing Alignment
What do you like best about the product?
Working with our G2 team always helps us to align as a marketing team and further, a company. We are able to use the platform swiftly because of the in-depth training we recieve. In addition, the entire review process allows sales, maketing, and customers to stay connected.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reviews sometimes get disqualified when they shouldnt or take longer than ideal to be approved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 allows us to demonstrate our expertise in our field, especially because we use it more than our competitors.

Very good customer support with robust inteligence concerning the marketing/demand features. Appreciate the intuitive nature of G2 supplemented by the support!

Wish we had location targeting options in PPC for segmentation

Great Tool for Smarter Marketing Decisions
What do you like best about the product?
G2 Marketing Solutions continues to be a very reliable and valuable platform for our team at Aviso. Having centralized access to customer feedback, peer reviews, and competitor insights makes it much easier to make informed marketing and product decisions. The dashboards remain intuitive and easy to navigate, and the data is presented in a way that’s immediately actionable.
We’ve also found the insights particularly useful for refining messaging and identifying areas where we can better align with customer expectations. Integrations still work smoothly with our existing tools, which helps us incorporate G2 data into our workflows without added complexity.

What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, the experience has remained very positive. That said, there’s still some opportunity to enhance customization—particularly around reporting and filtering data for more tailored views. Slight improvements in navigation when working with larger datasets could also make the experience even more efficient.

G2 Marketing Solutions helps us at Aviso by providing authentic customer reviews and competitor analysis, which are crucial for refining our marketing strategies. It also aids in prospecting by giving us insights into potential customers’ preferences and pain points, allowing us to tailor our messaging and outreach more effectively. The platform saves us time by centralizing valuable information, making it easier to make data-driven decisions. Overall, it’s been instrumental in helping us better understand the market, align our efforts with customer needs, and identify new opportunities for growth.

What do you like best about the product?
G2 is the gold standard for peer reviews in B2B SaaS. The Admin platform is for the most part intuitive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Frequent changes to the algorithm that disrupt rankings, without change in your own strategy for review collection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 helps us understand how our customers feel about the product, and provides us with a repository of social proof to highlight in marketing campaigns.

G2 helps us engage with buyers and gain insights on prospects.

I would like the SFDC integration to have more lift/ease of use.

G2 is our primary tool for buyer intent and has been useful in letting us know when prospects are searching for a tool like ours.

What do you like best about the product?
It is priceless to know what our customers think of our product(s) and areas of opportunity. It is very powerful to know where our product compares to our competitors. It is a useful tool to promote the badges awarded every quarter to show where our products excel. The number of features G2 has available is very useful to our business.

The only issue is that the system allows anonymous surveys and so there is no way to follow up with those customers on any areas of opportunity.

For the marketing & sales team it's a game changer, for intent signals, market comparisons with competitors and of course being listed in our main categories for potential customers to find us!

I wish some of the extra marketing materials we didn't have to pay for, but that's life!

Getting intent data when prospects are looking at us and competitors. So we can target them at the right point in the sales cycle.
A Great Platform for Brand Awareness and Positioning
What do you like best about the product?
I like the grid reports and the ability to use them the widgets on our marketing collateral and landing pages. Same goes for the badges.
The ability to add funds to the G2 wallet makes it easier for us to generate more reviews over time, and the review snapshots and quotes as well as reference pages help us consolidate the reviews in a meaningful way to make more sense for our customers.
Our account managers have always been very proactive with any and all requests trying to help us out whenever possible.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are quarterly reports and the current report feels outdated the moment the next quarter report is out, this makes it a tedious process to keep updating collateral with the latest badges and content.
Though G2 is great for brand visibility and awareness, there haven't been many direct inquiries from the platform.

It helps people do their research on products before making the purchase decision. In cases when people have not heard of a product, G2 becomes a place for them to see it for the first time as well as learn how other users feel about it.
G2 also helps build credibility for the products, a G2 badge can give people a sense of assurance when choosing a product.
