Awesome Product Review Platform

What do you like best about the product?
G2 is an awesome, user-friendly platform. Mike Sabin and Jeremy Lee have been an amazing support. It is also very interactive for admins and customers. I have been able to implement and integrate programs and tools to keep track of leads and monitor progress. I would highly recommend G2 to friends and colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not encountered anything that I dislike about this platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is giving us insight to what our customers think about our products and ways in which we can improve our offerings.

Essential tool for boosting our reputation and presence

What do you like best about the product?
G2 Marketing Solutions is easy to use and implement, but pairing G2 with the support from our Customer Success and Account team has been the ultimate package. We had a presence on G2 before launching our program but the support from G2 has taken it to the next level.
We're laucnhing campaigns, integrating our intent data with our systems, and implementing closed loop processes into our reviews. G2's team has helped with collateral, best practices, and our implementation strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike! I've been satisfied with G2 so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us maintain our public repuation and giving us an opportunity to respond to reviews, aligning to our internal closed loop iniatives.

G2 Review: Get Opinions from Professionals Who Use the Products

What do you like best about the product?
The AI-assisted search for products on their page make it easy to locate the item piquing one's curiosity. As both a reviewer AND user of the platform, I personally appreciate the reviews go through an evaluation process before being published, which is one of the major reasons they can market themselves as "the largest and most trusted software marketplace." I do not know what criteria the editors use to determine what reviews are accepted/published, but they also "do not, under any circumstances, edit the content of any review." As a contributor, this is imperative to sustain the authenticity of the respective writer's content (ergo, I assume the material is either accepted as submitted or outright rejected).

There are a considerable amount of items listed with G2.com to survey and it is always beneficial to read about the experiences of others. While it may be fun being the first to try a package, rarely does that make anyone in the business world comfortable. The reality is people check with others and those parties to whom we pay the most attention are those who more closely align with ourselves in business size, budgets, and need. G2 makes it easy to see which reviewers represent large organizations vs. small, so each reader can take those characteristics into account with the product analysis.

For those looking for "executive summary" quick-hit style, G2 offers breakdowns of "Highest-Rated Features" and "Lowest-Rated Features" (mileage may vary on the statistical relevance, however). Reseachers looking for graphical interpretation of ratings can also get those via G2 with its "Top Industries Represented" and "User Ratings" (including comparison with averages) sections.

G2 also makes it easy to find competing vendors and make comparisons, although doing so requires more critical analysis than merely looking at rating scores in the standard silos (e.g., "meets requirements, ease of use," etc.).

I also like how each reviewer's submission is labeled when appropriate with tags like "review source: Seller invite" so the reader can appreciate the catalyst for the write-up in the first place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mileage may vary with respect to the review content, especially since the main questions of "What do you like best about x" and "what do you dislike about x" are subject to the writer's interpretation (are they referring to the company, the service/support, and/or the specific product?). Some reviews that were accepted by the editors I personally would have rejected for not really offering much insight and appeared to be submitted without much content.

Discussions for several products appear stale with few answers posted, so not sure how relevant this section may be compared with posts on Reddit, for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving some business-to-business opinions on products and vendor companies with a bit more professional transparency than accolades intended for marketing purposes.

What do you like best about the product?
G2 Is a highly reputable website and allows our customers to review us honestly. The portal is really easy to use and I have particuarly found the new AI reply feature really helpful, especially when we're so busy. Running campaigns is really simple, we supply a list and G2 looks after everything. I think the best thing about G2 though is the support from our Account Manager; whether it's assisting with campaigns, helping us produce video reviews or the constant feedback about where we are and how we can improve.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't much to dislike about G2, I would recommend it to everyone to use as a 3rd Party review site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 allows our customers to review us honestly.

What do you like best about the product?
It's extremely easy to navigate the website and there is no clutter whic is a huge pain point for me with other software rating communities and the AI chatbot is actually helpful! (Thanks Monty).
What do you dislike about the product?
The suggested tools are not always relevant and sometimes I do not find engineering software that I use in the lists (CAD, CAE tools). With an updated database, the website could go a long way

With the guidelines for software reviewers, it's easier to organize thoughts on the points to be highlighted and that reflects in the quality of reviews that reach the users.

What do you like best about the product?
The reviews are categorized into distinct sections, making navigation and comprehension effortless. I've contributed a review solely for the Apollo product on G2, and the process was excellent! I encourage Apollo to continue utilizing G2 for obtaining reviews.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, in the feature ranking or objective section, I've noticed questions being duplicated. It's unclear whether this issue stems from the platform itself or the organization generating the questions. Additionally, I've encountered the absence of a feature to save progress and return later to complete the remaining sections, which I find inconvenient. One other thing would be to include an explanation of the questions in the feature ranking segment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having written numerous tech product reviews, I find G2 to be among the best platforms due to its excellent question segmentation, user-friendly experience, and intuitive interface. Introducing a save progress feature would truly enhance the overall experience, acting as the icing on the cake!

What do you like best about the product?
Since day one our relationship with our G2 team has been nothing short of amazing, responsive, eager to supprt our needs and truly vested in our sucess!

As it realtes to the platform, I appreciate that reviewers can be non annomous - lending us to use this platform as another avenue to recieve our customers feedback with reagrds to our product. It allso allows us to work on additional initative like engaging with our customers based on their reviews. The ability to reuse customer quotes in campaigns, celebrate our wins with quarterly badging, increase our SEO as it aligns to our buyers journey - show how we rank to our competitors all additional value. Customers want to hear from other customers and this platform gives us a sounding board to make that happen.
What do you dislike about the product?
it was unfortunate that we had guite a bit of "bad actors" slip though at the beginng causing us to lose numerous review dropiing ur ranking unexpectidly - granted we have experience bad actors with other vendors thus nature of the incentivized ask
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is giving our customers a voice, it is allowing us another tool to obtin feedback, it is supporting our buyers journey.

Great customer support!

What do you like best about the product?
I love how involded our CSM is! She is helpful and comes to our meetings very prepared with ideas and suggestions. Our Account Manager is also involded when needed. G2 integrates well with Influititve and is easy to use on the backend. We haven't had any big issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wasn't around when we first started using G2 so I don't have any knowledge around implementation.

We're able to drive customer reviews to G2 so increase brand awareness in the marketplace.
