Hassle-Free with Superior Uptime
What do you like best about the product?
I love Megaport for its impressive uptime and zero complexity, which ensures that I have a reliable service for my business needs. The ease of implementation is another aspect I truly appreciate because it was incredibly quick, taking only a couple of minutes to set up. This seamless integration is crucial when switching from another service provider due to cost and complexity concerns. Megaport's ability to provide a dependable on-premise connectivity from Azure further enhances its value for me and my use case. I find the service's reliability essential, making it necessary for our business operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the addition of another physical device in our colocation facility to be challenging. Additionally, there seems to be an issue with achieving Layer 1 redundancy at our data center.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Megaport provides reliable on-premise connectivity from Azure with uptime and zero complexity. Its easy implementation and cost-effectiveness suit our business needs perfectly.
Instant Deployment and Outstanding Support with Megaport
What do you like best about the product?
When considering solutions for site interconnect and third-party cloud interconnect, Megaport stands out for its fast and straightforward deployment process. We can instantly order new services or make changes to existing ones, such as adjusting speed or bandwidth, or even deleting services ourselves. Whenever we need to set up a new link or port, we simply place an order through the portal, and within about 15 minutes, it’s ready for use. Another advantage is the real-time customer support—Megaport provides access to agents who assist immediately, so there’s no long wait to resolve any issues. There is various connection type for you to choose as well which increasing your options to provide services to our customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
You will need to request for 100G port if need. It's not provide on the portal by default.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Megaport provide fast deployment and scalability. It helps us solving an issue like waiting for 2 weeks or a month to deploy one interconnect between two data center or more.

Easy connectivity between cloud and on-prem
What do you like best about the product?
We’ve been working with Megaport to simplify and scale our global network connectivity, and the experience has been excellent. Their on-demand Network-as-a-Service model has given us the flexibility to connect to multiple cloud providers and data centres within minutes, without the complexity of traditional networking.
The platform is intuitive, provisioning is fast, and their customer support is responsive and technically capable. The scalability and predictable pricing have made it easier to manage multi-cloud workloads efficiently.
Overall, Megaport has been a strong technology partner — reliable, innovative, and committed to continuous improvement.

Not much that I dislike about Megaport at the moment, managing multiple services or viewing historical metrics can be improved.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, constantly evolving to improve customer experience. Always willing to listen to the customer and action their wants/needs. Very professional and reliable. Exceptional global reach.

On-prem to cloud connectivity is made really easy with megaport, including MACSEC support.
Megaport: Effortless Connectivity with Lightning-Fast Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I am incredibly impressed with Megaport's fast activation time and its overall service reliability. When we added an additional carrier using the Megaport service, I was thrilled at how quickly and smoothly everything was set up. The ease of use of the Megaport portal is remarkable—it's the simplest and most intuitive system I've ever used. I appreciate how quickly we can connect to new parties using the network, often within minutes, as long as they are already physically connected to the Megaport network. It's very straightforward and easy to navigate, especially when compared to other Ethernet carriers we deal with. The initial setup of Megaport was seamless, a perfect 10 out of 10 experience, and I would highly recommend it to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the need for the portal's usage graphs to be updated live in real-time. It would enhance my ability to monitor network activity more effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Megaport accelerates the connection setup with new carriers, impressing us with its turn-up speed and providing a user-friendly portal for efficient management.

We just did an account review, and looked at the new services that megaport offers like Megaport ISP. Savings in our pocket.

Availability in most regions, Flexibility and easy to configure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Megaport is not available in South Africa. South32 is unable to pay monthly with credit card and use a purchase order system, this caused a few challenges because the PO system was not fully supported by Megaport and monthly invoices could not follow South32 process for submission and payment.

Cloud onramp, Virtual SD-WAN routers and global backbone.
User portal is very easy to use and configuration is a breeze
What do you like best about the product?
User portal interface is very easy to navigate and use. It is very intuitive. The dashboard gives you a quick overview of what is up and connected.

What do you dislike about the product?
Cant export the looking glass info to excel rather than copy paste. Not able to set alerting on individual services rather than global.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being the gateway service that connects all our clouds together rather than having to individually haul physical data service from each cloud provider.
Services can be spun up and connected to the "fabric" within mins when we need it.

My experience with Megaport has been very positive so far.

The support is great and the account manager has been really helpful as well. It was really good to see that we can order cross-connect directly from the portal.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need better flexibility with managing users. 1) Unable to just activate the deactivated users. 2) Unable to enable MFA only for privileged access.

We are using Megaport to connect to multiple cloud providers that provides high resiliency.
