What do you like best about the product?
So useful to be able to turn up and just as quickly turn down temporary services for specific needs. Also their account managers don't treat you like a number.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything negative? Even the prices are reasonable!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing flexible direct connections to cloud services, so we can use the most appropriate cloud service for specific loads/purposes.
Megaport makes cloud connections easy
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to easily establish a connection to a cloud provider such as AWS without getting locked in to a carrier-specific direct connection that can only be used for that purpose. It also gives us the ability to peer with other organizations in the future within the Megaport environment, making B2B connections much easier than traditional static VPN tunnels would
What do you dislike about the product?
It's cliche but the thing I dislike most about Megaport is that we had to wait a while for it to be available in both of our current colocated data centers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An effective, simple, and efficient connection to a cloud provider. Once we have our connections set up in both of our colocated data centers, we also intend to set it up as a tertiary DCI link for business continuity and disaster recovery

Change of pricing recently, 3-5 times higher is just forcing us to use other providers

What do you like best about the product?
#1, the availability in our region and the low cost compared to other vendors. We also were very pleased with the ease of implementation, from the initial configuration to the ease of use in day-to-day management. When we have had a few ( very few) technical issues, the skills of the support personel have been first-rate. They resolve issues quickly, even though the 'issues' have always been with the CoLo vendor or Cloud provider, and never an actual Megaport issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
For us, no real downside. Perhaps exposing more metrics would be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to establish an ExpressRoute circuit to one of the government clouds. At the time, there were few vendors available to do this for us. The the ones that were available were an order of magnitude more expensive that Megaport, and all configuration was ou of our control, and instead performed by an unseen individual at the vendor. When we discovered Megaport, they weren't even in our CoLo, but in just a few short month the equipment was installed , we had our live Port and cross connects, at 1/10th the cost. We have never looked back.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Megaport because it is very useful, easy to use and does not enable us to spend much of our money on the internet, it is very useful in availing cheap and reliable internet connection. It offers dedicated connection and operates a range of business services that include paid services for getting access to various CSPs, data centers as well as networks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Drawbacks of Megaport involve the initial setup which may take some time and is relatively complicated, especially for new users. Also, the Port configuration may take time depending on the amount of entered data. However, this is a very efficient platform once established.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Megaport helps us to manage and configure our important data easily, ensuring that our documents are stored securely and are accessible anytime and anywhere. It helps us to enhance the performance of cloud-based applications by reducing latency, making them faster and more responsive for users.

No dislikes, no one has a service(s) for the same prices with the same features.

Onprem to AWS and Azure at the right price
I have also in a previous comapny used it to interconnect 5 global DC's (allowed us to managed the costs by ramping up the services when we needed to do the data transfers)

What do you like best about the product?
It is simple, easy to use and affordable. It is very reliable and as a source of internet connection and gives you control over your choice of connections. It helps you manage your cost of internet usage and also the bandwidth. Megaport gives subscription based deals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Deploying of megaport is a quite complex process. It is somewhat time taking decision when it comes to choosing the right vendor.

Megaport is helping in taking business globally and reducing connectivity problems.
