Hootsuite Amplify Made Employee Advocacy Easy and Scalable
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Hootsuite is Hootsuite Amplify. I had the opportunity to pioneer and launch our company’s employee advocacy program last year, and Amplify played a huge role in making the program successful. It made it easier for employees to access and share curated content, helped increase engagement, and supported us in building stronger employee participation across the program. I also appreciate how user-friendly the platform is, especially when managing and distributing content at scale.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Hootsuite is that some platform-specific features still require me to go natively into the social media platform instead of managing everything directly within Hootsuite. For example, I can’t publish LinkedIn polls or post on Threads through the platform, which can interrupt workflow efficiency when managing multiple channels. It would be great to have more native support for newer features and platforms in one centralized tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps solve the challenge of managing multiple social media platforms efficiently in one place. It allows me to schedule and publish content across different channels while also monitoring mentions, comments, and replies in real time. Since I also support brand reputation management, having a centralized platform helps me stay on top of audience engagement, respond faster, and track conversations more effectively. This saves time, improves workflow efficiency, and helps ensure we maintain a positive and consistent brand presence online.
Great Cross-Channel Analytics, But Extracting Follower Comments Is Cumbersome
What do you like best about the product?
I really love that we can get all channels on the same report in the analytics section. We can download this in one document and use it for reporting purposes. We are also able to sort my metric so we can add depth to our reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to extract followers comments from the reports. The current method we use ie download the "messages table" is not simple and quick to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HS helps us show the effect our social media content has on our business and enables us to learn and pivot when necessary. It also allows us to monitor and evaluate our content to promote continuous learning.
Effortless Multi-Channel Scheduling in One Hootsuite Dashboard
What do you like best about the product?
My favourite thing about Hootsuite is how efficiently it handles content scheduling across multiple social channels. Our team manages several brand accounts and having everything inside one dashboard made day to day operations much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can sometimes feel heavy when many streams and accounts are active together. New users usually need time to fully understand how to organize the workspace efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After usage our team can manage publishing engagement and scheduling from one place which reduced manual work and improved consistency across channels. It also helped us respond to customer messages faster and maintain better campaign visibility.
Efficient Scheduling, Needs Better Audience Analysis
What do you like best about the product?
I definitely like the scheduling part of Hootsuite. It helps me schedule posts ahead of time and even suggests the best time to post, which is really handy for getting the timing right across different platforms. I also find the analytics side of it valuable. It makes it easy for me to export and share information with decision makers. The reports are extensive for analyzing post performance, which saves me the hassle of manually checking each platform for impressions, engagement, and competitive analysis. I’m also impressed with how easy the setup was, with connectors in place and just requiring authentication of social platforms. Overall, the platform has been helping me consistently, and I find its pricing fair and aligned with our procurement team's expectations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say that right now, it takes a bit or there's a lag at which the post actually goes out. So say for instance, I've scheduled it for 09:30PM PST. Then, it doesn't go out exactly at 09:30PM, which means that I'll have to sit and refresh it for a couple of times. And, I don't think it shares much about the visitors page data or the followers' data because it's all post centric. So given that I've integrated LinkedIn or, you know, other platforms on it, I would expect it to also share some visitor and audience data post wise and product page wise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite to schedule social media posts, choosing the best times to boost engagement. It simplifies analytics, letting me easily export and share reports with decision-makers, saving me from manually checking each platform's performance.
Powerful Scheduling, Bulk Posting, and Analytics in One Place
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to schedule posts, use the link shortener, analytics, bulk composer, the approval process with your manager, ability to post the same post on different accounts
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the analytics section was more user friendly. It's hard to manage the different types of datasets and also, the comparison dates. Other then that, I dont have any comments
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its helping with the flow process in our communications team. It helps with integrating all our different social media networks. It helps us analyze our performance across the different social networks and choose strategies for each.
Convenient, User-Friendly Platform with a Great Content Planner
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite's greatest strength lies simply in its convenience. The interface is very user-friendly; it took a very short amount of time to learn it when we first onboarded. I think the value of what you pay for in the subscription fee is very fair, for the sheer amount of features the platform offers alone. My favourite feature would be the content planner, as it is perfect for locating historic posts, as well as keeping a consistent schedule. The AI used to edit captions is good overall, certainly customisable. I have not tested Hootsuite under a heavy workload, due to the nature of what we use it for, however in the time I have used it, I have never encountered a performance-based issue, the platform is fast and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say that there is any particular downside of using Hootsuite, however, I would say that I have noticed various issues with social media accounts being unlinked from Hootsuite repeatedly, which is quite inconvenient to fix. I couldn't say confidently whether it is a well-known issue or one that is due to integration issues, but it would certainly be the biggest negative experience I've had with Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Hootsuite, every social media post had to be done manually of course, which by itself in one week of social media posts doesn't save much time. It's only when you look back after using the tool for weeks that you realise you probably wouldn't be able to happily work without it, due to the simple convenience of it. Naturally, tools such as Meta Business Suite offer direct analytics just like Hootsuite can, but at a far more broad lense in my opinion, whereas Hootsuite can give you very detailed insights into social media performance, also solving the problem of vague insights.
Scheduling and Link Shortening That Simplify Global Social Media Posting
What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling and link shortening are key features that makes posting across different social media platforms helpful. We use this across our whole global team to save on individual costs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the recommended times to post was recommended over a longer time period than one month. We only post once or twice a week, so the recommended times just ends up being whatever time we posted most often at rather than a real recommendation. Also, after scheduling posts individually, if I notice an error made to the posts, I have to click into each post individually to make the change rather than all at once, which is a bit tedious. I also think the platform is still quite pricey for what it is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We save time and effort cross posting to different social media platforms by using one scheduler. The built in link shortener is also useful so I don't need to go to another platform for it.
Hootsuite Makes Multi-Platform Social Media Management Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is helpful for managing posts and engagement across multiple platforms. It has allowed my team to more meaningfully create content that connects with our audience and promotes our brand. The UI is easy to navigate, it integrates with all social media easily, and is cost effective for our non-profit organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing - Hootsuite performs well, offers good customer service, and helps facilitate our social media posting. As a paid member, we have access to all the tools and features we might need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows my team to easily post and track metrics across all social media platforms. This helps us effectively use our time and resources, and understand what resonates with our audience.
Streamlined Image and Flowchart Creation
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Hootsuite allows me to easily create images and flow charts, which is essential for my work as I often need to generate images multiple times for editing in flows. I also found the initial setup to be really easy and user-friendly. The interface and guide are really good, helpful, and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Actually, it's working well in the image generation, but needs improvement in the time it takes to generate images.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows me to easily create images and flow charts, which I need frequently for my work.
Essential Scheduling, But Room to Improve
What do you like best about the product?
The scheduling tool is essential for managing RB's many brands and channels as it keeps posts organized, saves time, and streamlines our workflow. it's helpful for content repurposing and tagging accross different channels
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI chatbot is unreliable and makes frequent errors. Scheduling also has many limitations: no TikTok photo carousels, no stickers or hashtags for IG and FB stories, no ability to reshare posts to stories, and no LinkedIn newsletter support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps us manage multiple brands and channels in one place, making our workflow more efficient and streamlined. Having everything centralized saves time, reduces mistakes, and makes it easier to track and coordinate content across all platforms.
