Great tool for social media management
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to manage multiple accounts all in one location. We manage several different brands and it allows us to tackle social posting without continually signing in and rewriting posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally it will disconnect from social channel which can be a nuisance however I don't know if that's necessarily and issue with Hootsuite or the platforms themselves. I know Facebook has a habit of updating causing issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm the only marketing staff, so it's great to know Hootsuite is working in the background opening up my schedule to handle other tasks.

It's very intuitive and east to use. Very quick turnaround from setting up an account and getting started.

It's a little pricey compared to other tools

Great Customer Service & SMM tool
What do you like best about the product?
The analytics and reporting are great. The customer service is great and having the ability to speak to someone to help with questions is really helpful instead of just being transferred to a bot.
What do you dislike about the product?
The posting tool could be more sophisticated in that the preview screen doesn't show the sizing that you've selected, there also isn't a content preview tool like Sprout Social does where you can preview your content on the grid.

It's save me time and is accessible to pull reports

It keeps everything organized, saving me time and effort. I appreciate the ease of scheduling posts and monitoring performance for my social media accounts, all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish there was an option to tag individual colleagues directly, especially when it comes to promote speaking opportunities. Overall, it's a great platform that could get even better with this feature.

Solving: easy to schedule and modify the same post for different social media accounts.

What do you like best about the product?
Most helpful about hootsuite is the ability to schedule multiple things at once and tailor each post for the channel it's going on. I also find the analytics to be helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't necessarily dislike anything. I do recommend the ability to edit multiple posts at once.

Efficiency, easy to have things approved and edited.

What I find most helpful about Hootsuite is how easy it is to schedule posts to multiple social media platforms at a time.
What do you dislike about the product?
A downside of using Hootusite is connecting Instagram. This is mainly a fault with Meta Business Suite as the linking procedure between Instagram and Facebook has made it hard to use Hootsuite to schedule posts on Instagram

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has made managing our school's social media SO much easier and has become a vital tool for our team. We use it daily as part of our workflow.
Setting it up was quick and simple. We created our accounts and trained our team quickly using resources and tutorial videos available online. The dashboard is very user-friendly, and you can find what you need, even if you aren't tech-savvy! Since we post on a daily basis, this ease of use is essential for keeping our community engaged and informed.
It's also fairly easy to integrate your social media accounts with Hootsuite – although it does require reconnecting from time to time.
The approval workflow is the main draw for us. As an organisation, it's very important for us to have checks in place to ensure we adhere to policies, specifically around safeguarding our children.
We also appreciate the analytics it offers. It gives us detailed metrics that help us analyse how our posts are performing, understand how our audience is engaging with them, and spot trends or patterns. This has definitely helped improve our content strategy, like knowing the best times to post, enhancing our overall social media presence. As a department, we report certain metrics monthly, and doing this all on Hootsuite is so convenient.
Furthermore, Hootsuite's customer support is fantastic. Our account manager, Grant, checks in with us regularly to ensure we're making the most of the platform and answers any questions we have. We do quarterly check-ins, on top of any ad hoc queries or requests we may have. The Hootsuite Team is very responsive. This level of support shows Hootsuite's commitment to our success.

This limitation makes it a bit challenging to assess the visual content and ensure it meets standards. If a full-view image preview were available during the approval process, it would significantly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our review efforts.

Centralised platform: The way it lets us manage everything from one dashboard. We can easily schedule, publish, and keep an eye on our posts across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, without multiple logins. This is also applicable to analytics – we can see the "big picture" of post performance, engagement, and more, without having to go through each platform.
