Productive Platform for Social Media Operations and Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
This platform packed with lot of features that helps manage social media, content creation and campaigns. It has made my SM management efficient with and helps me track the progress.
Dashboard and analytics are one of the most helpful feature available, also calendar management makes your planning easier.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the integration with different platforms can be difficult and gives error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping manage social media easier with lot of features to track , your investments in marketing campaigns and puts you on right path.

The Scheduling features and the fact they have international days ready in their calendar

the fact that if you have X premium, you cannot use the extra character limit you get with that subscriptionon hootsuite

Powerful analytics & suggestive times to post help in building a good brand presence on the various social media platforms.
Its also relatively simple to use and you can learn your way around easily.

What do you dislike about the product?
Can work on adding new features on a faster basis and also work on adding few tips and tricks for free without charging for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me set up posts much in advance and it is worry free scheduling as posts go up automatically.

Necessary for business
What do you like best about the product?
I have been working with social media for years, and wish I had HootSuite years ago. It simplified my workload considerably. The amount of social networks it connects to is a big plus. One of my favorite features is when I upload several photos to a carousel on Instagram, whether they're different sizes, Hootsuite handles that and makes sure theyre all presented well on Instagram's end, no photos are cut off or cropped wrongly.
I didnt think that this software would become such integral part of my workload but I find myself using it several times a week.
Additionally, the interface is very user friendly and easy to navigate and implement into my projects.

Nothing comes to mind. The program is amazing!

Automating our social media posting as well as helping us post to cross platforms with more ease.
Social Media Management - Simplified
What do you like best about the product?
I use Hootsuite to manage social media for a nonprofit, and having a single dashboard to view and manage all my accounts has made things so much easier. Instead of switching between business accounts on Meta, crosspost to a different account, etc. I can just go to create a post, and select which accounts I want it to go towards, and it works. It was quick to implement as we just had to connect the various accounts, and working with the Hootsuite team was great as they offer a nice non-profit discount. New features have made it even better to use, including being able to tag collaborators for Instagram, and previews of what a post will look like within each channel. The various reports are also great for accessing. I use Hootsuite almost every day and I don't plan on switching.
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as I know, there is no way to directly access the dashboard, it always takes you to the hootsuite home page first. This is a small gripe, but it is an extra step. The account previous I mentioned earlier sometimes don't match the aspect ratio that gets posted, so when I do post, I might have to adjust later on.

A great tool if you run the social medias at your company
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is simple. That is all I could ask for, an easy website that does a lot. And I understand how difficult it is to create a really good website. Overall super easy to use and extremely helpful for my job.
What do you dislike about the product?
You should be able to edit even if its scheduled rather than having to delete the whole post and re doing it.With each social media platform there are different #s, I want to be able to do the mass posting, and then go in and edit the hastags for their unique platform.

Being able to see the social posts layed out on a calender is extremely helpful.
A helpful tool for any social media manager
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite makes it possible as a social media manager to work flexibly. I can write weeks of content at a time and schedule it in advance, meaning that I don't have to be doing it in real time on the day. This works particularly well when traveling, in meetings, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a bit more functionality on some of the Instagram features. I have to do everything by push notification so that I can add location, tag people, etc., which means I do have to do some of the work in real time.

Allows me to write and schedule social media posts in bulk

What do you like best about the product?
I like the setup for scheduling posts and the ability to change things in the system before it is posted however it may crop or look. I also love the analytics and ease of pulling reports!!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that more prompting and automation could happen. I also wish there was more support in editing/tweaking images, and tagging before they get posted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pulling reports and having a place to contain all of our social media content. I also love the free webinars and trainings to stay on top of the industry.
Mostly love with some downsides
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is extremely easy to use, even for beginners. Planning content is easy and intuitive. The user interface is attractive and easy to navigate. We find it to be a necessary tool in managing our multiple social media channels across an interdepartmental team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our biggest two complaints are that analytics through Hootsuite has a big learning curve. This isn't Hootsuite's fault but which social media services will provide analytics and mentions through Hootsuite isn't always consistent. The other issue is that storing content isn't a standard feature. It only comes with very expensive plan levels and we already feel that the product is expensive even on the professional plan. Not being able to access collateral for reuse is a huge downside at our price point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We manage multiple social media channels and Hootsuite allows us to manage them all in one place. Very often we are sharing slightly varied content about one product or program across multiple platforms for multiple audiences. I love that Hootsuite allows us to edit a post for a specific channel right in the post editor. The calendar and list views are both ideal for managing a lot of content at once.
