Great budget friendly platform for the basics!
What do you like best about the product?
Really like how easy it is to navigate in the platform, it's very easy for the basics like scheduling and publishing, love the hashtag generator and the link shortening. The basic social listening is a nice addition.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish they let everyone export analytics to excel not just when you pay a lot more money! And the reporting dashboard is very clunky and busy looking when you have a lot of stats and you can only split your post performance out by platform not everything together. And you can't tag posts unless you pay more sadly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to manage and schedule my social content and provide basic analytics to report back to my board on our progress.

i like that it is easy to post on mulitple channels at a time quickly

it sometimes crashes on safari and won't let me create a post, not sure if thats a technical error but it works fine on chrome

Simple to schedule and manage posting
What do you like best about the product?
I've been a long-time fan of Hootsuite for scheduling posts and managing multiple streams. It's easy to access, easy to schedule, and so simple to re-schedule or edit posts.
I recommend this to anyone juggling multiple social accounts.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's been difficult to keep up with the tumultuous social media landscape in the last few months - and Hootsuite has been slow to incorporate new platfomrs like Threads or Bluesky, so we're still having to manage those externally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves me time and energy and allows me to schedule posts ahead of time. Makes it simple to manage multiple posts across multiple accounts, on multiple platforms.

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to plan out my posts in advance and the AI assistant makes writing captions even easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how you can't post a Facebook story on Hootsuite. I always have to do it myself, which kind of defeats the purpose of using hootsuite and being able to schedule your content ahead of time.

Hootsuite helps me with social media planning and writers block with the ai assistant.

What do you like best about the product?
I have used HootSuite, professionally for over 5 years. I find it intuitive and easy to use, with a wide variety of options and features to choose from!

Seems to be leaning deeper toward paid media.

Hootsuite helps me preschedule posts and see comments featuring the companies I serve. This allows me to better plan out a content strategy that serves my clients well

What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to use! I like that you can add multiple accounts/platforms. I like that you are able to view and reply to messages here without having to go on social media.
The calendar set-up is so easy to use and it is great to see where and what is posted on each day. Its super easy to add AND remove posts. Also, being able to see your stats and progression is amazing - it's motivating to keep posting and getting higher impressions from the last week. Honestly, I haven't found an app/website that isn't as user-friendly as this.

What do you dislike about the product?
Having to reconnect accounts more often than usual or if the accounts are disconnected then the post does not go through - this is minor but most frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time-management. Has freed up a lot of my time for other duties.
Overall An Efficient Tool-Wish Tagging Was More Efficient
What do you like best about the product?
I love that ability to plan ahead-and to post on multiple socials. It makes social media management a breeze. In 30 minutes I can have all my social posts for a month for my two companies all planned out! The AI feature adds a little boost when I'm unhappy with my copy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that it allowed me the ability to tag persoal accounts. I do a lot of posting for a business and would love to tag their sales reps in photos, however, it doesn't allow that. Once the post is live it's been very difficult to add a tag.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of efficiently planning posts. It also gives me a calendar so I'm able to track the number of posts for each company. The analytics tab has been vital in showing the growth of the social pages. It's an amazing tool to show ROI.

What do you like best about the product?
I actually like the pop-ups the best, I can get a quick overview of new features as well as rundowns about the social platforms. Hootsuite offers an invaluable solution for education professionals looking to streamline their social media efforts and maximize engagement without sacrificing precious time. It's so easy to use and the support team is helpful whenever we have an issue.

I do wish there were better 'approval' features in the tool itself.

For those managing large content calendars, Hootsuite’s bulk upload feature is a lifesaver. You can schedule hundreds of posts at once, ensuring your social media presence stays consistent and on-brand. This feature is particularly useful for educational institutions that need to post regular updates, reminders, and event announcements across multiple channels.
Long-time Hootsuite User
What do you like best about the product?
When Hootsuite makes changes, you don't really notice them. Super easy to use, love the layout, love the suggested times to post, ai options, national days in case you need more content.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was difficult to find where to delete an account. The help page was unclear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company posts Monday through Friday. I am able to complete this task in one block of time at the start of the week. I then do not have to think about it for the remainder of the week.
