Interactive Content Calendar Makes Managing Posts a Breeze
What do you like best about the product?
I like having an interactive content calendar that displays posts across all accounts. I also find their webinars really useful. I've attended several and each have high-profile speakers that share valuable insights on the social media industry and where trends are going. I also regularly read Hootsuite's articles about the state of social media, social trends, and industry news.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some platform features (like adding stickers to Instagram stories) are not available on Hootsuite and must be done directly from platforms themselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Twitter/X has locked analytics behind a paywall, but I am still able to monitor month-to-month performance of a variety of metrics using Hootsuite.
Huge Time-Saver for Social Media, But Interface Takes Getting Used To
What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, the biggest upside of using Hootsuite is how much time it saves. Having all my social accounts — like Instagram, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter) — in one dashboard makes it so much easier to stay organised. Instead of jumping between apps all day, I can just schedule posts, check comments, and track engagement all in one place.
One of the most helpful things for me is the post-scheduling feature. I can plan a whole week (or even a month) of content ahead of time, which takes a lot of pressure off during busy weeks. The analytics tools are also great — they help me see what’s actually working so I’m not just guessing what kind of posts people like.
I also like the team collaboration part. If I’m working with others, it’s easy to assign tasks or approve posts without a bunch of back-and-forth messages.
Overall, it’s just a really practical tool for staying consistent and on top of everything without feeling overwhelmed.

What do you dislike about the product?
For me, the least helpful part of Hootsuite is probably the interface — it can feel a bit cluttered at first. There are a lot of tabs and streams to look at, and it takes some time to figure out where everything is. Once you get used to it, it’s fine, but there’s definitely a learning curve.
Another downside is that some features are locked behind paid plans, and those can get pretty pricey if you’re just a small business or solo creator. For example, advanced analytics or team collaboration tools aren’t really worth it unless you’re managing multiple brands or clients.
Also, the analytics aren’t always super detailed compared to using the native platforms directly. It gives you a good overview, but if you want deeper insights (like specific post performance on TikTok or Instagram), you might still have to check the individual apps.
And honestly, sometimes the scheduled posts don’t publish exactly as expected — especially if a platform changes its API or limits. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it’s annoying.
Overall, Hootsuite is great for organization and scheduling, but it’s not perfect — it’s more about convenience than getting every single advanced feature in one place.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem Hootsuite solves for me is time management. Before using it, I was constantly jumping between different social media apps trying to post consistently, reply to messages, and keep track of engagement — it was honestly a mess. Hootsuite pulls everything into one place, which saves a lot of time and helps me stay organised.
It also solves the problem of inconsistency. I used to forget to post or miss the best times to share content. Now, I can schedule everything ahead of time, which keeps my pages active even when I’m busy.
Another big benefit is better visibility and tracking. It’s easy to see what posts are performing well, which platforms are getting more engagement, and where I should focus my energy. That kind of insight helps me plan smarter instead of just guessing.
So overall, Hootsuite helps me be more efficient, stay consistent, and actually understand what’s working — all without feeling like I have to be online 24/7.

Effortless Scheduling and Great Results, But Needs Better Tagging and Alt Text Support
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to schedule posts ahead of time and even duplicate posts. I also love how you can rearrange your posts in calendar view by dragging and dropping. I have also liked the results we get when we boost a Facebook post using Hootsuite. I use hootsuite for our nonprofit's daily social media content.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were easier to find people you are tagging. I also wish that you could include Alt Text with Instagram posts, but you have to manually go in and add Alt text after it has been posted on the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows me to save a lot of time and energy when it comes to social media management and content creation. As someone working in a nonprofit, our time is stretched very thin so having a content management software that is reliable, easy-to-use, and multi-functional is so beneficial for me and my to-do list.
I highly recommend!
What do you like best about the product?
What I love best about Hootsuite is how easy it is to use the platform, and how much time it saves me. Instead of having to post on multiple platforms, I just do one singular post with Hootsuite and I save all that time I also like being able to schedule my posts as someone who works part time, so being able to plan ahead and post is very useful. I like how hootsuite will recommend times to post too. Customer support is great and easy to contact. Highly recommend for any social media managers or businesses.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike is not being able to add a location, that's the only thing I have to go back in and add to my post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a part-time social media manager, so Hootsuites helps me save time by posting to multiple platforms at once. I can add the same caption for all 3 platforms that I use. Also, it was annoying having to post when I wasn't on the clock, so I now pre-schedule my posts to post when I am not there.
Effortless Multi-Platform Posting and Scheduling Made Simple
What do you like best about the product?
This tool lets me post and monitor several platforms from a single, central application. Creating posts is straightforward, and I appreciate being able to include both images and videos. I especially value the option to schedule posts ahead of time, as it really helps reduce the pressure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not run into anything that I truely dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps me save both time and effort.
Clean UI, Reliable Posting, and Great Support! Perfect for Most, Niche Needs Aside
What do you like best about the product?
Functions are clear, the UI/UX is clean and easy to use, and the posts to socials are reliable. Support is very helpful when needed!
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm in a relatively niche industry (tabletop gaming), so the features Hootsuite is lacking that I'd appreciate most are likely just too situational for my circumstances. For general workflow and social media management, however, Hootsuite is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Regular social posts and direct message/comment management are much simpler. I've used a lot of other social management platforms, and Hootsuite seems to handle it the best and the most reliably without too many unnecessary bells and whistles.
Excellent Planning Tools, But Reporting Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Content planning and duplication/editing across platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting features are not user-friendly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling and offering analytics in one place
User-Friendly and Educational, But Login Process Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is very easy to navigate. I also like that they have classes to explain how to use certain features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I Love the software but I do think it is a pain to log in and have to enter this crazy long verification code everytime as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is making it very easy to plan and post a month's worth of social media on all platforms. I also like that I can log into one platform and access and respond to comments on ALL my social media platforms.
Effortless Content Management with Helpful Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has made it so much easier to manage my content across multiple platforms. I love that it recommends best times and practices for sharing posts and photos. I also use the analytics to help me with monthly reports for upper management. I use Hootsuite daily for managing comments and found it really easy to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once in awhile I get disconnected from Threads and have a hard time getting back in, but it's rare and not that big of a deal. Any time I've had an issue, customer service has been very quick to respond.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have multiple platforms to manage, and social media is only one of my roles. Hootsuite helps simplify my content sharing and helps me keep track of comments. As a government page, that is very important to me. It saves me a ton of time.
User-Friendly and Efficient, But Occasional Posting Glitches
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is incredibly user-friendly. I never find myself wondering where features are located or how to use them, as everything is laid out in a very straightforward manner. The scheduling tool is simple to use and really helps make my week much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had several instances of my posts not getting posted which is always frustrating - sometimes my accounts will randomly disconnect for no reason and I have to set things up again. I also don't love all of the pop up messages all the time. Nothing that's a deal breaker, just annoyances.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite, above all, truly addresses the ongoing pressure to always be active on social media. Before I started using the platform, I was always reminding myself to post and trying to determine the optimal time to do so. Hootsuite takes care of that for me. It helps me identify the best times to post, and once I’ve scheduled my content, I can shift my attention to managing comments, ads, and other aspects of my social media presence.
