An excellent way to manage cross-platform social media
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ability to manage not only posting to multiple platforms, but also the ability to manage advertising and post boosting directly within the application.
The interface is intuitive, and within minutes of being brought into our company's license of Hootsuite I was able to plan out a month of posts easily. I use Hootsuite daily and have not found an alternative that is as quick and easy to use.

What do you dislike about the product?
The information on viewership could be a little more robust.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small games company and I have a great deal of responsiblities beyond just daily social media marketing. The time saving features of Hootsuite allow me to tackle a large amount of social outreach, advertising, and review in a short amount of time, which frees me for other necessary activities.
Good, but missing some features
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is easy to navigate and intuitive. There is in-app editing that serves the purpose the majority of the time. The ability to cross post between multiple platforms is useful and handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are significant gaps in features that the apps use but aren't incorporated into Hootsuite. The biggest one is adding music to Instagram reels, which needs to be done in their app and means we don't post reels through Hootsuite. Instagram has also updated the number of photos that can be posted, but Hootsuite still caps it at 10 photos.
Another minor issue is that scheduled posting is in five minute incriments, instead of being able to pick any time you want - which would be used to mask the scheduling of posts.

Easy & Efficient
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to post across multiple social media platforms from one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's very little I dislike. It's user-friendly and not a problem to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is helping me reach multiple audiences - through X and through LinkedIn, by simply posting in one place. There is a different audience in each platform. Rather than having to post separately, Hootsuite allows me the ease of one single post on my end.
Perfect for Nonprofits: Easy, Convenient, and Time-Saving
What do you like best about the product?
As a nonprofit, we use Hootsuite almost daily, and it’s been a game-changer. Having all our analytics in one place for multiple platforms makes tracking what’s working (and what’s not) so much easier. The frequency of use wouldn’t be possible without how seamlessly it integrates with platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. The newer features, like competitor comparisons, are a great bonus and help us stay on top of trends. It’s a huge time-saver and simplifies managing everything.The customer support is incredibly supportive too and gets things done quickly. Implementation is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can feel a bit clunky, especially after the recent updates. Selecting dates for comparison is kind of a hassle, and sometimes the graphs end up showing the wrong data, which can get frustrating. A simpler, smoother layout would make things way better!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps me focus my energy on more important aspects of my work by cutting down the time spent on social media analysis and management. It allows me to streamline scheduling, monitor engagement, and access key insights, all of which free up time to focus on the bigger picture, like content ideation and audience interaction. As a small team, it's a gamechanger.

It is allowing me to have a social media schedule for the months and weeks.
Makes Scheduling Easy!
What do you like best about the product?
I create content for our entire year during the quiet time after Christmas and then schedule it all to go out throughout the year. This is for all the special event days. Then I use it all the time throughout the year whenever I create a post for our events so it goes to all channels at once. I love that I can create a post for our 4 SM channels and then slightly customise the post for each channel, or update it at a later stage.
It was really easy to setup and add new SM channels as we joined them. To be honest, it's ticked over so well, I haven't had any reason to contact customer support at all so far and I've been using it for a few years now!

What do you dislike about the product?
The only feature I'd like to see (unless I just don't know how to do it!), is to be able to edit a post that's been scheduled across multiple platforms instead of having to edit each individual platform's post if I need to change it later on.

Being able to post once instead of 4 times is a huge time saver!
So Easy to Schedule Social Media Posts
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a very user-friendly platform. I am able to schedule out weeks of content in advance over multiple platforms, which takes a lot of burden off of keeping up with social media. The platform has a lot of features to maximize the posting process. I appreciate the engagement score to see how my posts are doing with my customer basae.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is when the social media platforms get disconnected and I have to repost. However, Hootsuite is great about notifying me that there is an issue with my scheduled posts.

Time management - being able to spend time on other projects.
Hootsuite Has Made My Work More Streamlined!
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love the automation features of Hootsuite. It has made doing my job as a social media manager effective and efficent. I'm able to schedule content weeks and even months in advance all at once. This has freed up more time for me to focus on other areas in my role. The reports are also something I rely on heavily. The data and automated reports have allowed me to cut time gathering that data from each platform, all in one place. I use the reports to share out the analytics for our social not just with my team members but org wide. I'm a huge fan of Hootsuite overall, it's one of the best social media tools out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have much to dislike about hootsuite. The only thing I can think of is that I guess I don't use the ads or listening function. Mainly because I don't know how to use them or find a need for them. I would be interested in some more training around all the features hootsuite has to offer because I don't think I am taking full advantage of them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite has solved my problem of quick and efficent data gathering. Previously I would have to gather all social media data myself from each individual platform. Hootsuite saved my time and does it for me. Now I can focus on diving into that data and understanding it properly.
Everything I need to make my job easier - all in one place
What do you like best about the product?
I like the number and variety of different features that allow me to manage the most important aspects of social media easily and efficiently. The user interface is super intuitive and not only simple to learn but also to teach. We recently had to add a few users to the team so we could tackle the large amount of social media inquiries we get on regular basis. It took one 30-minute session to explain the platform to my team and fully integrate the tools. We use Hootsuite every single day and it makes our jobs a lot more managable (and enjoyable).
What do you dislike about the product?
We've had trouble reaching out to a customer support rep in the past. We haven't tried to reach out again in a while and, to be quite honest, we didn't have the need to. All I am trying to say is that it would be great to have one contact at the company that could assist us whenever we have issues or need help with a feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite has helped us effectively and efficienly manage the whole scope of activities that make a social media account successful. From ease of posting in bulk to assigning and categorizing social media interactions, the tool not only makes our jobs easier but also gives us more opportunities to get to know and understand our customers better. Now, with the addition of the listening tool, we're also able to make informed decisions on content that is more relevant and useful to our customers.
Convenient, User-Friendly, Adaptive Social Planning Software
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Hootsuite for several years now, and I recommend it to anyone managing several social media accounts. It makes scheduling across platforms quick and easy while also providing ideas, celebration reminders, and more. The software lets you know when the most effective time of day to post will be to reach your intended audience. One newer feature that I've come to rely on is the Owly AI. This is especially helpful for monthly or yearly worldwide celebrations. After a few years, my creativity to create unique posts for each holiday has run dry, and Owly helps keep things fresh while still maintaining our brand voice. Another feature I use regularly is the hashtag generator.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the constant pop-up messages that seem to invade my screen every time I'm trying to schedule something in Hootsuite or just log in. I like being in the know about upcoming webinars and new features, but I prefer to only get thought updates through the Hootsuite newsletter. I don't need or want to be bombarded with it when I open the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows me to view our entire social media calendar at a glance instead of having to go into each social platform to confirm. Being able to view everything at once helps to understand where I may have opportunities to incorporate different media or where I may need to pare down in the week.
