Great tool for social media scheduling and insights
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of scheduling across different platforms, and the social media health scores for connected accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a few smaller options for social media scheduling like Stories and leaving first comments on Facebook posts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving time with scheduling out and social listening
Amazing analytics help us evaluate what's working for our social media strategies.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the in-depth reporting. Understanding the different engagement metrics for the month to know the content that gets more or less from our followers. It's so easy to schedule content. It's grown so much since I first started using it, you're able to add much more detail than ever before. I'm on Hootsuite all day at work. I love how far in advance I can schedule things.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like my Threads account gets disconnected regularly and I'm not always in a place to fix it when I get the notification that my posts didn't go through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The flexibility to schedule content for upcoming programs and also highlight any programs we've held at the Library. Before we were scheduling within each app and it was too much to time wasted going back and forth between apps.
Very good social media planner but lacks publishing tools others have
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a very simple to use planner to create, manage and track social media posts. The analytics and listening tools contain detailed information useful to my business' growth online. As a social media manager, I use Hootsuite everyday and am overall very satisfied with the service. I've been using Hootsuite for the last two years and never had an issue which required to contact their customer support team. Linking my pages and profiles took only a few moments and was extremely easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
In parralel to Hootsuite I also need to use the free version of Buffer to allow me to plan Facebook Reels and YouTube Shorts. I would very much like for these to be available in Hootsuite as well. Also, Hootsuite seems slow in adding integration for new networks such as Bluesky, which seems to quickly be growing in popularity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having almost every platform grouped in one tool saves me a lot of time because I can create multiple posts at once. Also, as a Québec based French-Canadian business, all my posts must be duplicated and available in French. Hootsuite makes it easy to duplicate planned posts and add the translated text. I do wish the IA OwlyWriter had a built in translation feature.
Good platform overall, but with room for improvement
What do you like best about the product?
It encompasses many social media channels, which makes social media work much easier, and the reports are very customisable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features have bugs (like adding a collaborator on Instagram or sometimes posting a reel / tiktok).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps all my profiles in one place for when I schedule a similar post across various platforms, making it much easier. It's also a very helpful analytical tool.
Hooting for Hootsuite
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can schedule seamlessly across multiple social media platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how you can't edit/change the scheduling times for multiple scheduled posts. Unless you can and I don't know how yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves us from multiple posts of the same content across various social media.
Great app, still can improve
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to manage multiple accounts at the same time. The ability to delegate to your colleagues and allow them to upload drafts. Great integration with all major apps. The AI features are great.
I love how it tells me what time to post also and the analytics are great.
I love how it tells me what time to post also and the analytics are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be a bit clunky, I wish the app could recognise when tagging partner organisations across platforms.
Can seem to run slow at times, can be difficult to understand for some staff.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When to post, creating generic posts, allowing to post easily across multiple platforms, able to delegate to my team.
Hootsuite Does Many Things Very Well
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite puts most of our social media scheduling and analytics solutions in one place for a price that's better than most, particularly when managing across several accounts.
It's incredibly easy to repost content without having to go through a lot of hassles.
It's incredibly easy to repost content without having to go through a lot of hassles.
What do you dislike about the product?
More native integrations with social media platforms, like BlueSky (which has completely replaced both Twitter and Threads for us), are needed to make things easier for us.
Hootsuite's handling of apps leaves a bit to be desired. I shouldn't have to reconnect Pixabay and Canva every time I want to use them.
Hootsuite also needs the ability to specifically indicate whether or not a video scheduled for Facebook / Instagram should be scheduled as a Reel or a Story. We also don't have the ability to tag a collaborator in Facebook, but we DO in Instagram scheduling.
Finally, Hootsuite is in need of a geolocation tagging feature, particularly for Facebook and Instagram, which would allow us to tag the locations of our posts, rather than having to go back in to the platforms, themselves, and tag the locations.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The greatest asset of Hootsuite is the ability to schedule posts across platforms at the same time, rather than having to duplicate the same post, like other platforms.
I would recommend Hootsuite to anyone looking to streamline their social media marketing!
What do you like best about the product?
Absolute ease of use/user-friendly features. Hootsuite is easy to integrate into your marketing strategy whether you have experience using social media management software or not. Anyone can pick it up and learn it quickly. I use it almost every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite can - at times - be its own worst enemy. This is due to the fact that linking with so many complicated social media platforms is a difficult thing to maintain, and if one policy changes at Meta or LinkedIn has a glitch, Hootsuite is affected, which isn't necessarily Hootsuite's fault. It's just something I dread happening - disconnecting from a social page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite solves the issue of scheduling. Absolutely removes that from the equation. If I didn't have Hootsuite, managing our various channels would be a monstrous task.
Excellent choice for managing multiple accounts
What do you like best about the product?
It's nice to have all my social media accounts in one place and to be able to write for each audience within the same post.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, scheduled posts fail to send.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's created one space to manage all of our social media needs.
Great tool for any social media manager, but could follow new social media features a bit faster
What do you like best about the product?
It makes it very easy to make variations of the same post for different channels, and more than halves my scheduling time. I use Hootsuite daily, both to schedule and monitor performance. It is very simple to use for colleagues new to social media management and easy to add or remove social media accounts. The addition of posting carousels directly to Instagram has really made it 10 times better.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system sometimes lag behind innovations in social media, eg the Instagram option is still restricted to 10 pictures, while Instagram changed it to 10+ months ago. This is sometimes a cause for frustration as you are stuck between posting just ten pictures, or using Instagram directly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has saved my organisation and team so much time in posting and scheduling across multiple platforms. It solves the issue of Meta and LinkedIn having different systems, and seamlessly integrates all of their analytics.
