Great analytics!
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has been a great tool for managing social media, and overall, I’m really impressed with its features! One of the highlights for me is the reports it generates. They’re detailed and give great insights into how posts are performing. Plus, the ability to manually generate reports is a big plus—it’s super helpful when I need custom insights for specific campaigns or time frames.
What do you dislike about the product?
One major issue is how slow they are to update channel-specific features. Social platforms evolve quickly, and Hootsuite often lags behind. A prime example is Instagram: the platform now supports up to 20 photos in a single post, yet Hootsuite can only handle 10. This delay in adapting to platform changes is frustrating for users who want to stay ahead with their content.
Additionally, the interface feels overdue for an overhaul. While functional, it often comes across as clunky and outdated, especially compared to some newer tools in the market. Navigating between streams or managing complex campaigns can feel more cumbersome than it should.

I think they arae continually working toward making the experience as a social media manager and digital listener as seamless as possible.
Excellent scheduling software
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is an incredibly easy social media management tool with fantastic customer support. Its easy to schedule posts and the analytics reports are excellent. I use it every day and its an essential tool in my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it's well worth the price, but that price tag is pretty costly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite gives us detailed analytics and provides a easy to use scheduling system for all of our social media platforms.
Great Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like integration with a lot of social media and the possibility to make advertising. The calendar view is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The instagram post is still 1080x1080 and I can't upload a canva design 4:5. I would love if I could add a link to instagram stories without having to do it manually.

For now is helping me calendarizign my content in multiple platforms.

What do you like best about the product?
As a social media manager, I oversee about nine platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Threads. I appreciate how easy it is to filter through different channels, allowing me to see a comprehensive overview of the upcoming content for each brand.
I appreciate that Hootsuite has now integrated with third-party apps like Canva, which has saved me a significant amount of time by eliminating the need to download and re-upload content.
As a daily Hootsuite user, I enjoy that it creates an easy-to-understand inbox of comments and messages and that is allows me to comment back through Hootsuite.

What do you dislike about the product?
While a detailed overview of the social week is certainly helpful, I would appreciate having a general monthly overview as well. This would allow me to see how many posts I have scheduled for each platform throughout the month. Additionally, it would be useful to understand how frequently content is posted on weekends versus weekdays, along with the specific times those posts are made.
Part of my role is to provide social reports, some insights are missing from the Hootsuite tabs, so I often have to find this information on the social platform itself, which is sometimes a good deal different to the results on Hootsuite.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pulling together all the social platforms into one place is a really helpful and time-saving benefit of having Hootuiste. I also appreciate the third-party access to Canva, which has saved me a significant amount of time on creating separate content, and downloading and re-uploading this content to Hootsuite. It also allows me to re-use old content by updating the Canva art.

The analytics and tagging systems are very helpful. We are able to see what kind of content performs the best on each platform very easily.

We have had some issues with accounts becoming disconnected.

One-stop service for social media management!
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite's intuitive tools help me craft compelling and engaging social media content. As a nonprofit social media manager, creating timely and accessible posts is very important. Hootsuite helps me manage multiple platforms with ease. Hootsuite makes sure that each post is readable and viewable across all platforms, which helps in making sure our message is uniform for our entire audience.
What do you dislike about the product?
New social media platforms are being released, and I would love to see Bluesky and others included soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite creates easy solutions to problems like managing multiple social media platforms, engaging with users, creating interesting visual content and more that would otherwise be more difficult.
Great tool for social media scheduling and insights
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of scheduling across different platforms, and the social media health scores for connected accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a few smaller options for social media scheduling like Stories and leaving first comments on Facebook posts.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the in-depth reporting. Understanding the different engagement metrics for the month to know the content that gets more or less from our followers. It's so easy to schedule content. It's grown so much since I first started using it, you're able to add much more detail than ever before. I'm on Hootsuite all day at work. I love how far in advance I can schedule things.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like my Threads account gets disconnected regularly and I'm not always in a place to fix it when I get the notification that my posts didn't go through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The flexibility to schedule content for upcoming programs and also highlight any programs we've held at the Library. Before we were scheduling within each app and it was too much to time wasted going back and forth between apps.
Very good social media planner but lacks publishing tools others have
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a very simple to use planner to create, manage and track social media posts. The analytics and listening tools contain detailed information useful to my business' growth online. As a social media manager, I use Hootsuite everyday and am overall very satisfied with the service. I've been using Hootsuite for the last two years and never had an issue which required to contact their customer support team. Linking my pages and profiles took only a few moments and was extremely easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
In parralel to Hootsuite I also need to use the free version of Buffer to allow me to plan Facebook Reels and YouTube Shorts. I would very much like for these to be available in Hootsuite as well. Also, Hootsuite seems slow in adding integration for new networks such as Bluesky, which seems to quickly be growing in popularity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having almost every platform grouped in one tool saves me a lot of time because I can create multiple posts at once. Also, as a Québec based French-Canadian business, all my posts must be duplicated and available in French. Hootsuite makes it easy to duplicate planned posts and add the translated text. I do wish the IA OwlyWriter had a built in translation feature.
Good platform overall, but with room for improvement

It encompasses many social media channels, which makes social media work much easier, and the reports are very customisable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features have bugs (like adding a collaborator on Instagram or sometimes posting a reel / tiktok).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps all my profiles in one place for when I schedule a similar post across various platforms, making it much easier. It's also a very helpful analytical tool.
