Gets the Job Done
What do you like best about the product?
It is a major time saver, much better than having to individually log in to each social media platform to make mosts.
I like that you can tailor the post to each platform, since X has character limit this comes in handy.
I like that it uses Owly to shorten links.
It is easy to add and edit images.
I like that it is easy to follow and understand the anaylytics/performance over time of posts and accounts.

What do you dislike about the product?
The search function to tag other users and entities is glitchy and doesn't always give what I am looking to tag.
I find Instagram platform particualrly difficult to use because of the tag search functionality.
I find the calendar page overwhelming to look at and hard to follow.
I batch schedule reposts frequently, my process is copying the text from the post in Streams, editing it as needed in Create and the scheduling. I dislike how everytime I Schedule Post it takes me the calendar page, I would prefer it stay at Streams. I also dislike that streams is in the More menu and not in the main sidebar on the left-hand side.
When viewing the activity in Streams I dislike that you have to click to see what post the comment is in response to.
I dislike that when I'm not in the USA I can't use the product, can't use with VPN either.
I dislike that not every social media platform allows for published posts to be edited via hootsuite.
I find Instagram platform particualrly difficult to use because of the tag search functionality.

Logging into social media accounts for a company is a major pain especially given two-factor authentication, where typically only one-person has the device with access codes to log on.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is best for planning posts in multiple platforms. Because I am part of a non-profit and have a lot a of reaccurening events and programs, I really enjoy being able to duplicate and edit posts after they've been posted. I use it on a daily bases to schedual weeks and month in advance wice helps because I am not always able to keep watch on it.
Hootsuite also keeps posts up to a year so I can go back and resuse postings from up to a year.
It is very easy to learn and use, whenever I talk to other media sepcialist they tend to use this platform verus others. I have to make competeing bids every year in order to keep the software and its prices make it an easy choice to comepte with other.

I wish Hootsuite had more neiche platforms availble to connect with.
I would also like to be able to post to stories without having to confirm it duing scheduling, I have never been able to figure out how that feature works.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to schedual postings in advance so that I can focus on other parts of my work. Other platforms like Later.com limit you on how many posts and up to a certain date. Hootsuite lets me program post far into the future.
It has been great every step of the way and made my job much easier.

The simplicity, this has made every part of posting easier and better, I use this everyday.

Manually deleting every post I scheduled when I need to change dates.

It has cut the process time drastically, we spend much less time worrying about uploading our posts everyday.
Good for beginners
What do you like best about the product?
The interns love it, it's easy to set-up and easy to use format. We Use it for all our main platforms. The AI can use a little improvement, but it has great reccomendations. Teh reporting tools are great for presenting to the board.
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't like the newest update. Would be nice to customize the dashboard and add what our team uses the most.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of access to our analytics. It's simple enough to design the report you need at different times of the year and export immediately.
Beginner and user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite makes it easy to post across platforms without the clunkiness of using multiple schedulers. A general post can be written and then edited to match the tone for each platform the post is going on. Adding Alt Text is also a breeze with Hootsuite.
What do you dislike about the product?
With every piece of software there are bound to be glitches - late posts, doubled posts, posts not going up at all. While they are inconveniences they happen so infrequently so as not to be a hinderance of using the site.

The ability to post and monitor multiple platforms all in one space is a time saver.

Perfect for One Person Marketing Teams
What do you like best about the product?
It is great to create content for multiple social media accounts in just a few clicks. As a one person marketing team, Hootsuite helps me stay organized with my social media management for multiple accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are errors scheduling, but that is understandable.

It helps to see national days coming up that I don't have to search for and help with recommended time for posting.

I have used Hootsuite for scheduling social media content for over ten years now. I have to say the best thing is the ease of scheduling and the reliability.

Seems small, but I wish the page showing all the connected accounts would be in alphabetical order.

I've observed that several buttons performing the same function could be consolidated to streamline the interface and enhance visual clarity.
The process of adding new social media accounts often takes very long and does not work.
It would also be beneficial if the post date and time automatically adjusted based on context, such as when posting multiple holiday updates for different companies.
This feature would significantly reduce time spent on manual adjustments.
Additionally, a more intuitive way to access a recent post history would improve the workflow. Having a clear, easily navigable list of recently published content would allow for quicker edits, as this feature is currently difficult to locate.
As a UX designer, I believe these adjustments would significantly improve the platform’s usability and user experience.

Makes Work Very Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite allows our organization to plan social media content weeks in advance across the various platforms we use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing to dislike about Hootsuite.
