Hootsuite is a reliable, intuitive social media planner.
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite remains one of the most powerful and user-friendly social media management platforms for my company. As a marketing assistant, I find it to be a dependable platform to schedule posts, monitor engagement, track trends, and analyze performance across a variety of major platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter (X).The interface is clean, intuitive, and well-suited for managing multiple accounts and campaigns from a single dashboard.
One of Hootsuite’s strongest assets is its analytics capabilities. The platform provides detailed performance reports that allow users to dig deep into what’s working and what’s not. From tracking engagement metrics to monitoring follower growth and click-through rates, the insights offered are both comprehensive and customizable.
The content calendar and scheduling tools are also top-notch. Users can queue up posts days or even weeks in advance, assign posts to specific team members, and ensure content goes out consistently without needing to be manually pushed live. I find that the trend tracking is another quite useful feature.

What do you dislike about the product?
Second, while Hootsuite offers solid analytics, it often leaves users guessing why certain posts perform better at specific times. The tool reports when engagement is higher but doesn’t offer much insight into the underlying factors—whether it’s due to audience behavior patterns, hashtag usage, post format, or external events. Including more context or AI-driven insights about why certain time windows are more effective could greatly enhance the strategic value of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly mnaging social media posts and tracking their particular performance. In the many years i've used it, Hootsuite remains a powerful, reliable tool for managing social media at scale. For teams and individuals who need a centralized platform for scheduling, monitoring, and analyzing their social media efforts across multiple channels, I find that Hootsuite delivers strong value with impressive depth despite very minor shortcomings.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is an excellent tool for managing our social networks on a daily basis. It is practical, intuitive, and allows us to centralize our posts while tracking their performance. It meets our needs very well and greatly facilitates our organization. We are satisfied with its use and recommend it without hesitation.

No problem with usage, everything is intuitive.

We have more than 30 accounts to manage, and we were with one of Hootsuite's competitors. The pricing offer and the product's capability suit us very well.
Makes the handling of social media with multiple accounts a breeze

Integration of different social media channels. The handling of posting on various platforms is also essential.

What do you dislike about the product?
The new window to handle interactions from channels can get messy and almost impossible to handle from small-screen laptops. The messages get squashed up on each other.

Help me handle all of our diffrent accounts at the same place.
Gets the job done but can doesn't do it all
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is simple and easy to use. The ability to write and schedule posts is nice, but lacks key features that should be there regardless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love to see improvements with the AI writing features - I still write everything in Gemini/ChatGPT and then paste it into Hootsuite.
Social accounts keep disconntecting for some reason, and I have to reach out to my manager to reconnect them.
Id like to see better tracking features, like how many people clicked on a link a put in a post.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now, its just scheduling posts. The analytics tool aren't super helpful for our company. They are neat to see but don't tell us much honestly and its frustrating.

I like that I am able to post across all my social platforms in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting font sizes are massive and kind of make it hard to read. Wish the limit on file sizes was higher when uploading content.

The most complete social media management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite's analytics tool is second-to-none and is essential for those who require detailed reports on social media engagement, comments, and competitor checks. The interface, while extensive, is simple to use and makes it far easier to find what you're looking for than most other social managmeent tools. It has become part of my company's weekly and monthly reports as to our performance and is our go-to way to measure customer satisfaction. Adding apps is simple and you can build your network of apps and implement them with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some social media funcitons take longer to be integrated into Hootsuite than I'd prefer, and certain features, such as image editing, are too far behind traditional image editing apps to be worth using.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite keeps brand consistency high and ensures that the correct voice is being used for its respective app. The analytics tool is invaluable for keeping track of our progress as a company.

Sometimes crash. Tags with @ are not very good at all. Support is not the best.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite greatly facilitates the management of multiple accounts on different social networks. The calendar view is particularly useful for planning and visualizing upcoming posts, which helps structure our campaigns. I also appreciate the ease of use, even for less experienced users, as well as the ability to track content performance with detailed analytics.

Some advanced features are reserved for higher pricing plans, which can be a hindrance for small businesses or teams with a limited budget. Additionally, some tools, like hashtag tracking on Instagram, could still be improved.

Hootsuite allows us to centralize the management of our social networks, which saves a lot of time and limits errors. The ability to schedule posts in advance ensures regularity in our campaigns, even during busy periods. Performance tracking allows us to identify the most effective content, which helps us adjust our strategy.
Easy and enjoyable to use - and with detailed analytics
What do you like best about the product?
It's a blissfully simple interface on the desktop, and the mobile app makes off-the-cuff posting easy. The Canva integration is super helpful, too. The collated analytics reviews are incredibly useful to compare and contrast the success of different platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's still a lack of integration with BlueSky, so we're having to use Buffer's free tier (May 2025).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unifying 5 of our social media accounts takes a lot of work out of creating and posting content. And to be able to assess a calendar of all postings is extremely useful. The easy way to customise posts for different platforms in one place makes the creative process simpler and swifter.
