Saves Time Managing Socials, But Tagging and AI Visuals Could Improve
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy that I can easily managed, schedule and report on all my social platforms through one tool. I really don't need to log into each individual platform and that saves me a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to be able to create AI visuals through the platform itself, I realize this is asking a lot. :)
I also think my ability to tag through the platform sometimes is limited and randomly I won't be able to tag someone on the tool and will have to switch to platform.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I honestly use this for it's basic features, but it solves me needing to go into each platform for reporting especially.
Great Features for Nonprofits, But Pricey for Small Budgets
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is very user-friendly. I especially appreciate the analytics trackers, and I rely on the reports for board meetings. With a small staff, it's easy to pre-program our posts months in advance.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be costly as a small nonprofit. It can also be frustrating when I have to re-link our accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since I have a small team, posting content in real time isn't practical for me. Hootsuite allows me to schedule posts months ahead and create marketing plans in batches, which makes managing my workload much easier.

Empowers My Social Media Strategy
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Hootsuite makes the setup process quite manageable, and once you get into it, it becomes pretty easy to use, which I appreciate. It's great for my business by enabling more frequent social media posts, helping to garner feedback and engagement which is essential for generating more business. I find the scheduling feature particularly useful, allowing me to plan and queue posts a month in advance, which has been working out really well. Additionally, I enjoy using it alongside AI tools and other software, finding it integrates fairly well in this context, enhancing my overall workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Hootsuite would get the TikTok integration working properly so I can add my TikTok account. One of my biggest issues is that TikTok doesn't work with Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hootsuite to increase social media engagement, which generates more business. It simplifies scheduling posts up to a month in advance, effectively enhancing my online presence.
Excellent Cross-Channel Posting, But Mobile App Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite's greatest strength is the ability to push cross-channel content to multiple platforms simultaneously and with channel-specific customization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app struggles to keep up with the functionality of the web applet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the education marketplace, our audiences run the gamut; Hootsuite enables us to tailor content to future students who are younger, while simultaneously making it relevant for the alumni and benefactors that help make the education possible. I also appreciate the social score, which we use as a barometer for performance, and recommendations provided for improvement. Hootsuite will often see the forest through the trees of our posting.
Streamlined Social Media Management Across Platforms
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Hootsuite for 11 years for social media management and find its user-friendly setup very appealing. Hootsuite's ability to organize and schedule multiple posts across different platforms has been invaluable, allowing me to strategically plan and oversee my social media content. I appreciate the feature that suggests optimal posting times, which helps maximize engagement, and the convenience of easily tracking mentions to see who is talking about our schools and what they are saying. The capability to manage multiple platforms with different accounts in one place is another significant advantage, making Hootsuite a critical tool in my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how Hootsuite's current system makes it challenging to easily see the scheduled posts as was previously possible with a 'Scheduled' stream. This change, influenced by Meta's updates, complicates my workflow, as I now need to navigate through the planner, select my stream, and click through the week to find what I’m looking for.

I use Hootsuite to organize and schedule posts on multiple platforms, allowing strategic planning. It suggests optimal posting times and tracks mentions, enhancing my social media management.
Great for Social Media Marketing, But Video Editing Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
It is a user friendly one stop shop for SM marketing. I use it daily and post to most platform. The integration from platform to platform has improved greatly over the last two years.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had ALL the Canva capabilities. Some things seem to be missing. And the video editor is not easy. I never use it. I don't even understand it.

Efficient Multi-Platform Scheduling, But 30-Minute Wait Is Limiting
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to quickly schedule social content for multiple platforms quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there is a waiting period of at least 30 minutes to schedule content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I currently don't have a problem that Hootsuite is solving that I know of.
User-Friendly and Affordable, But Occasional Post Failures
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and budget friendly. This tool is one the better priced dashboards out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have on more than one occasion had scheduled posts fail to send.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One main dashboard to view all social channels in one place. I love the calendar view to see high level of what is going out during the week and appreciate the app as well for when I am on the go.
Great Collaboration and AI Tools, But Recent UI Changes Disappoint
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Hootsuite is that it is easy to tag social media accounts and add members as collaborators within the platform. I like the analytics that are built into the platform as well. I also like how many AI tools it has incorporated to make it easier for social media managers.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I find frustrating are the updates that were made June 2024. I wish they had left the dark background on the far-left side section where the different navigation tools are located. I find the "all white" to make it harder to easily see the different tools. The photo upload application can also be tricky since it sometimes pops up at the very bottom of my screen and I have to scroll down to be sure I can upload properly. Also, I have issues trying to activate Facebook accounts. I can take a few times to get Hootsuite to give me the correct account. I have tried adding "-" and sometimes that works better and the same with LinkedIn.
