Good social media content management system

  • January 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, lots of great features that make it easy to manage social media accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't see many downsides, but I occasionally have trouble uploading video so I have to go to the native apps to accomplish this task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving me time because I'm able to post to all three platforms in one place at one time. I love the ability to edit posts for each platform in one place.

Hootsuite is a great social media scheduling tool

  • January 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to schedule posts with just a few clicks. Editing scheduled posts is also easy, and the statistics and reports are easy to use and ESSENTIAL to my work. I also like how easy the social listening is via the Streams function. Everything I need is on one console.
What do you dislike about the product?
Frankly, I miss the option of a free account. I can't afford Hootsuite for my personal social media needs, so I'm glad to have access to it for my employer (who pays for it).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since X shut down its native statistics feature, there was no way to get the data I needed to measure our success and create strategy. Hootsuite offers thorough and robust stats and reporting features, which saves me a ton of time and enables me to be more strategic about planning posts and content types.

Makes Managing Subbrand Easy

  • January 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I manage social media for a company with two sub brands, with their own distinct channels, so HootSuite makes it easy to switch between them and monitor them as a collective.

I appreicated the recent update to the anayltics tools - I copy them right into a quarterly report and was complimented on the improvement to my graphics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find monitoring for related keywords across channels clunky compared to similar tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We try to be where our members are, so are spread across many social channels. Our members are most actvie on Facebook especially, so I like that I can still see their posts and engage without actually having to have Facebook open.

Hootsuite is a versatile platform with data analytics for social performance - with ease!

  • January 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using the Hootsuite social media schedule service for several years. At first with a free account and then I invested in the paid account for more platform profiles. I find that the data analytics telling me which posts performed well and demonstrating suggested times to increase performance is really helpful in targeting my audience with content they need.
What do you dislike about the product?
In using Hootsuite over the years it has upgraded it's performance. The one thing I don't like is I get comfortable in the rut of how it used to work and when they add features it gives me a learning curve to adapt to the enhancements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite solves the problem of needing to keep social media accounts current and active across multiple platforms. It is easy to update LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter for several different brand pages and a personal account. I can schedule out and see a timeline of the hours as well as days and month at a time to be sure that holidays are noted, birthday shout outs are remembered and across the platforms I have engaged, commented and posted all inn one space.

Streamlined balance of social content.

  • January 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is not only entirely comprehensive without training, it also offers many tips, videos, and "academy" opportunities to learn how to best utilize social media for marketing and outsourcing content. The process to post across many platforms is made much more easy through Hootsuite (especially when combined with Canva, not making any money off 'em here, just a huge fan.)
What do you dislike about the product?
While I haven't had an issue posting (scheduled posts have always gone through) it seems I am frequently getting notices that one or another connection is awry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is really helping my organization get a better idea of how to raise brand awareness in the modern world. With an oversaturated market of constant content, I am confident that Hootsuite is streamlining our process and boosting our engagement.

Reliable, easy-to-use social media mangement platform

  • January 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has all the tools our B2B brand needs to manage our social calendar, schedule posts, monitor performance, and keep an eye on our inboxes. It also has some nice bonus features like optimal posting times per day based on audience interaction and AI-powered hashtag recommendations. I've used Hootsuite off an on throughout my marketing career, and it's remained one of my top picks due to its affordability, functionality, and flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to other social media management tools, Hootsuite's community management features aren't as robust. I find myself replying to people in-channel more often than I do in the platform. If you're looking for a tool that also does employee advocacy or inbox management for execs, Hootsuite may not have all the bells and whistles you want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized calendar planning, scheduling, and publishing
Consolidated reporting across social channels

The Easiest Way to Edit and Schedule Posts!

  • January 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I work for a smallish non-profit and being able to plan out all my social media communications weeks or even months in advance makes a huge difference in my workflow. I can look back on the previous year and duplicate relevent posts to reuse, and it's always easy to see what times and days work best for posts, based on previous months' engagment. The calendar view makes it easy to drag and drop to rearrange posts and to see any gaps I may have missed in the week's schedule. I love the new feature that shows all the funny "special" days on the calendar, like National Superhero Day, or World Wildlife Day - everyone thinks I am super on top of things because I never forget a red latter day, even an obscure one! Additionally, tech support has generally been very helpful when I have needed to contact them for assistance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite does have a tendency to get disconnected occasionally or miss sending a scheduled post, but I feel like this has improved recently so maybe it's less of a problem now than in the past. It would be nice if the internal editor was a little fancier so if you upload a photo or video that doesn't fit it's easier to fix without going back into Photoshop or Premiere, etc. I am not a fan of the AI integration or the big push to have it write posts, but that is just personal preference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to schedule posts way in advance and trusting the application to handle the post uploads allows me to work on other things and not constantly be worrying about socials. The suggested time frames are really helpful for picking a good time slot for posts on different days.

Automate postings for midsize theatre

  • January 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can duplicate posts easily to do monthly posts as well as take an existing post and slightly change it to match the current needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like the archive to go back further than one year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling posts to be published at the desired time.

A 5-Year Journey of Social Media Excellence

  • January 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, after five solid years with Hootsuite, I totally get why it’s such a go-to for managing social media. That dashboard just makes juggling a bunch of accounts feel way less chaotic, you know? And their scheduling tools? Lifesaver. Being able to upload posts in bulk and actually optimize when they go out has freed up a ton of my time.

And whenever I've had a question, their support team has been on it. It's also cool that they keep updating the platform – it never feels stale. Yeah, the price might be a bit much for some smaller teams, but for what you get, it's definitely worth the investment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Right, so look, even though I'm generally a big fan of Hootsuite, if I'm being totally honest, there are a couple of little things that can be a bit of a pain, you know? The cost, especially when you're just dipping your toes in or don't need every single fancy feature they offer, can feel a tad on the pricey side. And those basic plans? Yeah, they definitely leave you wanting a bit more sometimes in terms of what you can actually do unless you cough up more cash. I've also had those odd little moments where the whole thing just kind of stutters or glitches for a split second – nothing that makes you want to throw your computer out the window, but still a bit of an "ugh" moment when it happens. Oh, and don't even get me started on trying to do everything you want with Instagram through it; sometimes it feels like you're jumping through hoops a bit. But hey, at the end of the day, it's still a pretty darn useful tool despite those few little snags.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You know what's a pain? Trying to keep up with a bunch of different social media accounts. Hootsuite basically solves that by giving you one spot to schedule posts, see what's going on, and track your results. For me, that's meant I'm not wasting a ton of time switching between platforms, and things just flow better. The analytics are actually useful too – they give you the info you need to tweak your strategy and get more people interacting and actually seeing a return. It's made the whole social media management thing way more efficient and, honestly, less of a headache.
