Hootsuite Empowers Solo Social Media Management Like a Pro
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Hootsuite daily to manage our social media posts across LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and Amplify, and it has truly streamlined our entire process. Hootsuite’s platform is highly intuitive, allowing me to quickly schedule and manage posts across multiple platforms with ease. The tool is also incredibly reliable—I know our posts will go out as planned, every time.
One of the biggest benefits has been the analytics. They are easy to pull, insightful, and exportable, which makes reporting to our team fast and straightforward. Additionally, our Hootsuite account representative has been fantastic—responsive, supportive, and genuinely invested in our success.

What do you dislike about the product?
The LinkedIn functionality could use some upgrades, particularly around setting custom thumbnails for videos. However, I recognize this limitation is likely due to LinkedIn’s API restrictions rather than Hootsuite itself.
Overall, Hootsuite has been a game-changer for us, allowing us to effectively manage and optimize our social media presence. Highly recommend!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite has streamlined my social media management across multiple platforms, making it possible to handle everything efficiently as a solo manager. By allowing me to schedule posts on LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and Amplify all in one place, it saves me hours each week and keeps our content consistent. The built-in analytics tools are incredibly useful for tracking performance and reporting insights to our team quickly. Plus, with a responsive account rep always available to help, I feel supported and can troubleshoot any issues in real time. Overall, Hootsuite has simplified and strengthened our social media strategy, making it more impactful and time-efficient.
Great program
What do you like best about the product?
The learning curve for Hootsuite is minimal, which has been especially helpful as we implement Hootsuite with other departments on campus. We use Hootsuite on a daily basis, often multiple times per day. The analytics feature has been uniquely helpful as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost can be a barrier to schools that do not have the resources. Hootsuite does have customer support, but it is not always helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is important that we have the ability to schedule posts and determine the reach of our content - Hootsuite excels in this regard.
Great platform and unmatched support
What do you like best about the product?
I love my Hootsuite reps so much! No matter what I need from them (be it help with our analytics, helping me prep for a presentation, customer support, etc.), they are always so helpful and so quick to respond. I also think the platform is so easy to use and really straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there are things that break from time to time on the platform and sometimes it's at a very inconvinient time. However, our reps and customer support always work to get the issues solved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all the analytics in one place is so helpful because we have so many brands.
A great tool for social media teams
What do you like best about the product?
We love that our whole team has access to view our Hootsuite calendar and to add posts, and that customizable user permissions prevent posts from going live without final approval from a manager. The free AI tool is super helpful when we're not feeling very creative. Analytics are great and you can automate reports containing only the metrics you're interested in to be sent to your inbox. Our account manager is also very helpful and proactive!
What do you dislike about the product?
We have our account set up where two of us need to approve any posts submitted by other users. If we don't approve a post in time, it just expires with no notification. It would be helpful to have an email reminder sent if a post is not approved (or denied) within 30 minutes of when it's set to post. We wish that there was a "Revert to Original" option in the photo editor, and that we could add more than 10 photos in a post/carousel. The photo preview for Instagram is a little difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps our whole marketing team to collaborate on social media while maintaining Compliance (we are a FinServ company) and a consistent brand voice.

Some reporting features aren't as accurate as we would like it to be.

Multiple departments can schedule content on one channel, helping listening to manage crisis and reputation, and providing data for content decision-making.
One of the best tools on the market
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that it gives me the ability to manage multiple pages on the one tool. The analytics section has been really helpful in developing our social media strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to change the colours that show on the graphs.

Top Notch Customer Care Backed By A Easy To Use Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Aside from the readily available customer support provided by a dedicated account manager, the platform is relatively straight forward and easy to navigate for the most part.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could be a bit more robust in analytics as well as data retrieval. It tends to only pull a limted amount of historical data and not easy to do YoY metrics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me put calendar all the content being pushed out via numerous social channels my team and I have to manage on a daily basis. I can easily see what content is being pushed out and at what frequency and what channel.
One stop shop - and amazing customer service
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Hootsuite continues to work towards becoming a one stop shop for social media managers and teams. With other scheduling platforms, they haven't been as reliable, workable, and without expert customer service like hootsuite does.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that outside apps block hootsuite from doing all the cool things the social media apps do on their own. We pay for our Twitter account and it's a bummber that Twitter won't allow Hootsuite to edit copy in this platform but it's allowed natively on Twitter. Things like that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ROI on metrics and analytics, exporting reports, mass scheduling and a big one for me - the mobile app is as reliable as Hootsuite in desktop. I can condifendently leave my computer knowing I'll get notifications timely and accurately through the app.
