Effortless Social Scheduling in One Place with Helpful AI Optimization
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can schedule posts for all of our social media accounts at one time in one place. I also really like the AI help for optimizing my posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have occasional issues posting videos for Facebook. Specifically, when I want an image of the video from the link. I have to periodically reconnect my social media accounts to Hootsuite as well. Not a big issue but sometimes a pain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I struggled with messaging across different platforms but with the AI feature, I'm able to polish and optimize my posts for each platform which saves me a lot of time...especially when I get writers block. It's nice being able to have similar but platform specific messaging for my posts.
Hootsuite Makes Multi-Platform Scheduling and Content Ideas Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Hootsuite offers all the benefits of scheduling content--I've actually started using it instead of the native scheduling tools that Meta provides because Hootsuite is better. It's also great because all of our scheduled content across multiple platforms can be scheduled/viewed in one place. It also has great AI integrations that help plan hashtags and provide content ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
There honestly are no things that I actually dislike. Perhaps a price discount would be nice, but honestly, the pricing is fair for what you get. Or integrating even more platforms? (I'm thinking specifically Substack, since that is one channel we'd like to be able to schedule content for that we're not currently able.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem that Hootsuite provides a benefit for is the scheduling tool. We produce a great number of content across channels, and having the ability to "set it and forget it" is much needed. There have been times when other native tools (Meta's Facebook, specifically) have failed in one way or another, or were buggy, and we were able to use Hootsuite without issue as an alternative.
Highly Recommend for Efficient Social Media Scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
I use Hootsuite to schedule social media posts for my job, and I like the scheduling aspect. It's super easy to set up, which is great. I also like that it can help with creating links if needed. I'd rate it a 10 for sure when recommending it to a friend or colleague.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had a mistake in a post graphic and although I could remove it from social media, it remains on the plan. I would like to be able to remove it so that no one else ever goes back in and uses it.

I use Hootsuite to schedule social media posts, allowing me to focus on other work. The scheduling feature is a key benefit as it helps me manage posts efficiently.
Streamlined Social Posting, Needs Better Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
I love the calendar feature in Hootsuite. I'm able to see things in real time and how they're gonna look when I post it. It makes it so much easier to plan and visualize my posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like their integrations could be better. I didn't feel the need to pay for the premium because I also use Later. And Later is aesthetically pleasing and has easy features to use. I feel like Hootsuite needed some upgrades.

Hootsuite helps me categorize my social media for my business and be consistent in posting.

What do you like best about the product?
One of my favorite features is the recommended posting times, which has really helped improve engagement and take the guesswork out of scheduling. I also appreciate how the platform helps adjust and optimize content while still keeping the original message and ideas I want to get across.
The analytics and reporting tools are another huge plus. Being able to easily see which posts are performing well, how much traffic they’re bringing in, and overall engagement trends has made it much easier to understand what our audience responds to. Overall, it’s been a very helpful and user-friendly platform for managing and improving our social media presence.

What do you dislike about the product?
One frustration I’ve had with the platform is the approval process at times. Occasionally posts are rejected without clear suggestions or feedback on what specifically needs to be changed, which can make revisions difficult.
I’ve also run into issues where scheduled posts are still waiting on approval after the planned posting time has already passed. Once that happens, the post essentially expires and the intended timing and engagement opportunity are lost. A smoother approval workflow or clearer notifications around pending approvals would make the scheduling process much more efficient.

It saves time through scheduling, performance tracking, and engagement recommendations, while the analytics make it easy to see what content is performing best and what our audience responds to most.
Scheduling, Reports, and a Unified Inbox That Make Social Reporting Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I like the scheduling tools and the reports feature. It is very helpful when crafting my monthly and quarterly social reports. I also really like the automatic message feature and the combined inbox. It makes my job so much easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that there is no feature to group Facebook profiles together. We have 27 locations that we cross post on and the site usually slows when we select all of them. Being able to select just one group would be fantastic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am very thankful that Hootsuite provides a reliable service. The last scheduler we had would not post sometimes, and it was very unreliable. I am also thankful for the combined inbox, and the timed automatic messenger. It is very easy to see what comments/messages we have received in one place. When I am out of office, it ensures that our members will receive a response.

The inbox does not work well for me. I am constantly having to refresh it, or it does not connect correctly. Also, the initial setup was kind of difficult as not all socials connected easily.

Helpful Upcontent Partnership, and Clear Dashboards
What do you like best about the product?
I love their partnership with Upcontent, it's been really helpful getting current content that fits with my brand's needs. Their reporting dashboards are helpful and clear. I can easily share performance with leaders and provide information quickly. I'm really happy with the level of support the brand offers and the products reliability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm sad to see the end of individual account managers, this was something that was really necessary so many times throughout onboarding and throughout company changes. It felt like I lost a member of my social team. With that said though, I'm still feeling the same level of customer service through my upcontent team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is helping me identify what posts are performing, and ideate helpful content for my audience. The addition of ow.ly ai has been a huge impact on ideation. The social listening element has been helpful in illustrating the impact of social for the brand.
Makes Social Media Management Easy and Saves Time
What do you like best about the product?
I like most about Hootsuite is that it makes social media management much easier. I use bulk feature a lot for job posting and career campaigns, and it saves me a lot of time.

What... dislike about Hootsuite, nothing much, just sometimes social media accounts disconnect automatically, which affect scheduled posts. That's annoying sometime.

We manage career focused content across multiple social media platforms. Hootsuite helps us keep everything organized in one place instead of managing each platform separately. It helps us schedule job related posts in advance, monitor conversations around student careers and opportunities, and stay consistent with our campaigns.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Hootsuite brings all of my social media management into one place. Instead of switching between different platforms, I can schedule posts, monitor comments and messages, and track performances on a single dashboard, which saves a lot of time. We switched to Hootsuite because it offers better analytics, a unified inbox, and team collaboration tools all in one platform. The setup was quick and easy, connecting our social accounts took less than an hour, and we were able to start scheduling posts right away. Although there was a slight learning curve, the onboarding process was straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that doesn’t work as well for me with Hootsuite is the pricing. It's a very capable platform, but the prices can feel quite high, especially for individuals, freelancers, and small businesses that mainly need scheduling and basic analysis.

We switched for its comprehensive analytics, unified inbox, and collaboration tools.
