Hootsuite optimizes our use of social media
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite allows us to have access to all our social networks, all our statistics, all our messages on a single platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There would be a lack of the ability to schedule stories.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Have a single platform to manage all our accounts.
Great Platform with Advanced Features
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Hootsuite is the ability to do everything related to social media in one platform. You can view analytics, make posts, tag users, and reply to comments all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Social media features are updating constantly and there are always going to be native features that you can't access on Hootsuite. For example, I can't tag our employees in LinkedIn posts because you can only tag pages on the platform (which is common for most platforms like Hootsuite). However, it does mean I end up posting natively sometimes and it's frustrating to have to switch back and forth between posting in Hootsuite and native posting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ultimately, Hootsuite is the most effective tool I've seen with advanced analytics. You can see everything you need to make decisions in one place.
Loaded with features and great support
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite offers a wide range of features that I have not seen many competitors offer. Whenever we inquired about specific capabilities or challenges, the Hootsuite team always had a solution either within the tool itself or with one of their partners. Their support team is highly responsive and ensures you're never left in the dark.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to listening and reporting, lots of trial and error to find the sweetspot. It also seems like there are some gaps with pulling in mentions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have to manage multiple brands across multiple social accounts and Hootsuite really simplifies our day to day work. The integrated AI also helps with writing posts.

What do you like best about the product?
It's a one-stop-shop for social media. Content and copy creation and generation, product integrations, social listening, backend management, community engagement, etc. Previously, I was having to do everything natively. Having everything in one location immediately simplifies and centralizes my workflow.
Analytics are super helpful. As each platform measures differently, having them in one template in one location helps tremendously. Replying to messages and seeing tags? These are things I would typically commonly miss. With the inbox, it filters through everything.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think the social listening tool, at least on the basic account, is all that great.
I think the trainings are relatively redundant. In my opinion, the first training with our team should have started off with how to post and other basics, not tags and approval workflows. I wish the trainings were 1:1 with my customer succcess team so I can actively ask clarifying questions instead of having to put them in a box.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Honestly, just centralizing everything, especially analytics. It helps keep everything in one spot. My workflow is much cleaner.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has been an aamzing help with our disitrict social media platforms. I love how we can schedule across multiple platforms and accounts at once. I can also manage hwo much content is going out on our school sites each week.
What do you dislike about the product?
A feature that would be helpful for Hootsuite to have, would be the abilitiy to edit posts once they are published or scheduled to publish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before, Hootsuite, we were having issues with managing how much content was being put out on pages across our distirct. Now we are able t manage and problem solve when needed.
Good tool for social media scheduling and some analytics
What do you like best about the product?
-It's user friendly and it allows me to manage different profiles in a centralized way.
-I also like the analytics they provide which helps me understand the impact social media can bring to the company.
-I like the Streams and you can easily visualize each social media channel parameter you're interested in.
-We use Hootsuite daily to schedule content, the implement of the tool was easy and the team adapted and learned easily.

What do you dislike about the product?
-The social listening tool doesn't work for a company like us, althought we're paying for this service, which is annoying. Our industry is very niche and our brand name is a common name depending on the country, which makes it difficult to filter, so we can have results relevant to us.
-It's great that Hootsuite has an integration with Salesforce. However, it is very limited as it follows a manual process, it'd be more useful if the integration could allow us to see the leads activities on social media in Salesforce.
-The Google My Business and Canva integrations require you to login every time you're going to schedule some content, which is time consuming.

It has allowed a team of 6 people working from different locations to be more aligned as they schedule the social media content from one single place.

What do you like best about the product?
The scheduling capabilities as well as the multitude of options for analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
The names for various analytics tabs are sometimes confusing as quite a few of them have similar names. so it's not intuitive what they are showing exactly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It benefits my company because it makes it easier to manage all of our social media platforms in one place. It also gives us the ability to see all of our analytics in real time and pull reports easily to compare data between platforms.
Hootsuite covers all my needs as a social media manager of 40 brands!
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite allows me to easily schedule posts for over 100 social media pages. I love the duplicate post feature and ability to easily select which brands I want to schedule a post to. The analytics portion of Hootsuite is also very user friendly and easy to navigate. I'm able to pull everything I need for our digital marketing analytics dashboard when I need it. Additionally, the customer support team is very reachable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a "select all" button when publishing to multiple networks/social media pages. We manage 100+ accounts and having to select every page the platform begins to lag and it ultimate takes a very long time to post 1 post to all of those pages. There have been delayed responses at times in finding resolutions to problems. I wish there were more capabilities in the INbox 2.0 like sharing story mentions, liking Instagram comments, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have over 100 brand pages and it would be impossible to post to all of those pages manually. Hootsuite makes that very easy. Hootsuite analytics provides insight and helps us to see how our posts are peforming and what is or isn't working, influencing out social media strategy. We just recently started using the listening tool and I am excited to see how that benefits us. I assume it will also influence our strategy heavily.
One of the best platforms for social media management
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a platform that allow to manage social profiles from one place. The strong points I can certainly list: post scheduling, centralized management and team collaboration, all thanks to a simple and immediate interface. Hootsuite allows to obtain very detailed reports and analytics for each social profile managed and also allows you to manage advertising campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
The offer of advanced tools for managing individual social profiles is a bit lacking.

The ability to quickly manage the moderation of different social profiles and cross-posting on multiple platforms
