Great for global businesses with tons of channels!

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to manage multiple teams and have visibility across all of them has been invaluable. The reporting tools are incredibly user-friendly, allowing me to quickly pull data from management across more than 30 channels we oversee.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish it offered more listening tools and had a built-in influencer platform. Additionally, the YouTube reporting differs from what YouTube Analytics provides, which made the transition to reporting a bit challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has streamlined the process of bringing all our marketing teams into one platform, making it much easier to share content. The tagging and campaign features have also provided clear insights into which types of content perform best on specific channels and in different regions. With such a diverse range of audiences, it was previously challenging to track performance across various markets, but Hootsuite has simplified this for us.

What do you like best about the product?
The number of analysts features is my most used part of Hootsuite. I also like the ease of use when it comes to scheduling content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite sometimes doesn't allow certain features that are offered on the various social platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows me to plan and schedule content in advance to where I don't have to go to each single platform to do so.

What do you like best about the product?
SCALABILITY - The platform is easily scalable to the size and scope of you social media program.

CUSTOMIZATION - There is plenty of customization and user driven content capabilities, but there is also a ton of turnkey and automated or AI supported options to provide support for small teams that are responsible for hefty social media programs.

DATA & INSIGHTS - The insights and account metrics are really helpful for those who are looking to report out to key stakeholders and support program expansion. They also provide easy was to build out a data-informed social strategy.

AMPLIFICATION - We added amplify to roll out our social media ambassador program. It was easy to get members onboarded and using the platform quickly.

TRAINING & CERTIFICATION - The self-driven training is excellent and hiring teams find the certifications to be credible.
What do you dislike about the product?
COST - The cost for extra seats both for platform management and for amplify is difficult to justify to leadership.

ACCOUNT MGMT. SUPPORT - Perhaps since the platform is so intuitive, Hootsuite account managers can be less responsive once the contract is signed. Your experience with Hootsuite, if you do need support, can vary widely depending on who you are assigned.

PRIVACY & SECURITY - Some of our Amplify users expressed concern about the legal language they had to agree to in order to sign on to the program and what access the platform would have to their owned social accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SCALE - We have a small team and needed to prove the value of social media as a viable go-to-market channel. We were able to scale our social media program through technology rather than headcount and our audience growth and engagement has accelerated.

BRAND AWARENESS - Amplify has allowed us to show other key members of the team, across departments, the value of social engagement both for sales and thought leadership. We have raised our corporate profile and humanized our brand through our people.

RESOURCE JUSTIFICATION - The success of our social program, as shown through a combination of native platform metrics and automated Hootsuite reports, provided us with the business case to support continued investment and expansion of our social media program.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is an incredibly user-friendly platform that makes social media management across multiple channels—like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more—a breeze. Its intuitive interface allows you to easily monitor all your replies, mentions, and direct messages in one convenient dashboard, so you’re always in touch with your audience. The scheduling feature is also fantastic, enabling you to plan posts across networks for optimal timing, which really helps maximize engagement. Another benefit of Hootsuite is its insightful, customizable analytics, which allow you to track performance and gather meaningful data that’s presentation-ready for management. Plus, Hootsuite often hosts highly informative webinars, which provide valuable tips and strategies to help you get the most out of the platform. It’s a powerful, all-in-one tool for any organization looking to elevate their social media presence.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Hootsuite provides useful features for managing social media, there are some limitations that impact our experience. For starters, the platform is on the pricier side, which can be a drawback for smaller teams. Additionally, customer support can sometimes be slow to respond, which isn’t ideal when urgent issues arise. Functionality-wise, we’ve faced several challenges. The “Post Now” feature doesn’t display posts on the planner, leaving us uncertain if they’re pending or scheduled. We’ve also had instances of scheduled posts failing without any notification, which we only noticed while reviewing our social channels. Scheduling Facebook posts with videos has been another issue—frequently, we get errors about unsupported aspect ratios, despite these videos working fine when posted directly on Facebook. We also miss the ability to click and drag scheduled posts on the planner to adjust dates or times, which was a convenient feature for quick changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining social mHootsuite is solving the problem of managing multiple social media accounts by bringing everything together in one intuitive platform. With its unified dashboard, we can monitor replies, mentions, and direct messages across all our networks, which has saved us time and improved our responsiveness. The scheduling feature has been especially beneficial, allowing us to plan and automate posts across channels, so we’re consistently reaching our audience at the right times. What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of scheduling posts, viewing boards, and creating performance reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that we cannot include other organizations' pages in our boards. I would like to have a clear view of what other organizations in our sphere are posting on a daily basis. I would also like to see what other partnering organizations in the community are posting.

I don't like that you cannot tag others when sharing a post from a stream on your board.

I don't like that you cannot post to reels or stories on facebook. (If you can, I haven't figured it out).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I cannot oversee the many pages our organization maintains without a platform like Hootsuite. I also cannot feasibly schedule posts on the individual platforms, so the scheduling function is necessary.

What do you like best about the product?
As a Social Media Manager my team and I have found that Hootsuite is a great product for consolidating all our takes into one place and taking action on them. With a total of 21 Social Accounts, it is a great place to see everything that is going on and the analytical reporting allows us to create goals that are achievable.
Our Account Manager at Hootsuite is extremely knowledgeable and has helped to ensure we are making the most out of the tool. He follows up on all our questions. We couldn’t be happier with his service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Anytime we find a limitation in Hootsuite, we find out an enhancement is already in the pipeline.

It is a great place to see everything that is going on and the analytical reporting allows us to create goals that are achievable.

Reliable Social Media Management Platform

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a one-stop shop when it comes to managing social media accounts. The analytics are easily accessible, the account management you receive from the Hootsuite team is great, and the option to scale is encouraging.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are quite a few 'add-on' features not included such as in-depth analytics, social listening, price per seat, and compliance review. When I do have a product suggestion/request, it seems like the request is sent over to the team but never able to be implemented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is solving the time management of social media for me. Having one platform where I can schedule, respond, review, and track social media posts allows space for scalability for our team. Hootsuite saves me a LOT of time responding to customers, scheduling posts and cross-posting across multiple platforms.

Multiple Account Posting Made Easy!

What do you like best about the product?
I work for an organization that has four portfolios comprised of 19 facilities. Having the ability to post one unified message for multiple facilities across a variety of social media platforms helps streamline my workflow. In addition, Hootsuite makes it easy for me to duplicate and schedule posts. This is especially helpful for job postings or upcoming events that I want to promote for a number of weeks. My team and I use Hootsuite on a daily basis and would find it very difficult to post the volume of things we do without it. The program is easy to use and I've had a positive experience with their customer service team during a recent upgrade.
What do you dislike about the product?
The program lags when I have posts that involve a number of facilities and platforms. I would like to have more options for adding filters, etc to Instagram Stories.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have material that needs to be posted for 19 facilities across a number of platforms. Having to do this manually would be nearly impossible. We had more than 400 posts in one month and this doesn't even include the job postings that I put up on a daily basis. It would be impossible to keep up with this demand if we didn't have the Hootsuite platform.

Cost effective SaaS for Social and Busines Intelligence

What do you like best about the product?
A very easy to use and cost effective tool for most businesses looking to work in social and social listening. Ease of setup and team designations is very simple and user friendly. Support is very quick and effective (IF) you ever need them. The tool has withstood the test of time (devised initially as a direct competitor to Tweetdeck "Hoot" ), but was savvy enough to expand to many more use cases than a "one trick pony." This is a tool we use daily for scheduling content and engaging our clients' audiences.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the sizing elements of media feels enforced on a platform level rather than the native platform restrictions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With numerous clients (and their numerous social accounts) this helps us easily schedule and tag content relevant to specific objectives. This tool not only helps us organize and schedule, it reduces the amount of time dedicated to getting content ready to deploy.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of Hootsuite is being able to create a content library and upload content for my team that they can access when they need to post it. I use Hootsuite all month long but my team only uses it when they need to schedule posts. It's convenient for me and my team as we are all on different timelines.
Another feature I enjoy is the analytics tab. It is easy to see the results and then integrate them into the reports I create. Overall, the implementation and integration into my reports is very seamless.
I have never had to use customer support because Hootsuite is so user friendly!
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that I dislike about Hootsuite is the "calendar" feature. For our company, we have so many posts going out that the calendar can look crowded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our company, analytics is a problem because we have so many accounts and it's hard to collect all the data. Hootsuite has solved that problem by allowing me to see all the posts from specific days, accounts, etc. It benefits me because it makes my reporting easier.
