Great tool for all social media managers

What do you like best about the product?
Love that you can see everything in one place - especially when managing multiple platforms across brands.
What do you dislike about the product?
LinkedIn functionality - but I think that's a LinkedIn con vs. a Hootsuite con. LinkedIn is our primary platform and it doesn't have the best integration for seeing everything in one spot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling + reporting. Good for pulling data and seeing trends.

The Best In The Business

What do you like best about the product?
It is rare to find a team outside of your organisation who care so much about helping you achieve your objectives. We have been using Hootsuite and its associated products, such as Talkwaker and Tint, for years now and I wouldn't use any other supplier. Every Hootsuite team member has gone above and beyond for us and currently Alex Wedderburn is helping us implement a major digital transformation project which will bring in enhanced governance and supercharge our impact on social media. The team's expertise in our sector brings so much added value to everything we do with them, it really is like they are an extension of my team. We use Hootsuite and assocaited products multiple times every day. They are extremely easy to use and have intergrated into our workflow really easily. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Hootsuite to any organisation as the insights they bring really are game-changing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am really struggling to think of downsides. The only thing I can think of are some of the limits on community management functionality, but I want to be really clear that that is down to the social media platforms' limits rather than Hootsuite's.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite gives us, as a large scale and complex organisation, enhanced governance. It also allows us to understand the needs of our audiences and react to rising and ever-evolving issues, through social listening. The platform allows us to collaborate efficiently with team members across the organisation, to save time and effort, and the analytics allow us to measure success with custom metrics which matter to our unique organisation, rather than relying on the rigid metrics which don't serve our needs. Tint allows us to ensure we are only using user-generated content which we have the rights to use, so reducing risk.

What do you dislike about the product?
The times when Hootsuite's global webinars take place. If you're based in Germany, the webinars always take place in the evening, which means that I rarely have the opportunity to attend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a global company and have to manage and edit multiple profiles on different platforms. We used to have to log into each profile and platform individually. Now, Hootsuite allows us to do everything centrally through a single platform, saving us a great deal of time and capacity.

What do you like best about the product?
Posting to multiple pages in one go! Viewing comments/ inbox of all platforms in one go.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had an expire feature! Setting an expiry on a video would be amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have over 40 social media platforms (we are a network news team) and having one system that lets us crosspost, duplicate, delete, schedule across everything is amazing.

Our process has been fine-tuned and everything is much simpler.

I like all of the features and the easiness to use.

Sometimes the platform is glitchy (posts not showing up in planner).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves time with posting by allowing multiple posts to be scheduled at one time and in advance.

What do you like best about the product?
The Hootsuite link shortening enables me to write brief reviews in our Photo Imaging News and link to the full release without consuming too many lines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, Hootsuite posts a review before it has been completely reviewed, and retracting the incomplete/wrong post is embarrassing. So I need to be able to preview it, even with spaces between word.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reaches multiple outlets with a single post, although some outlets require renewal. Enables me to join new networks that I normally would not consider

What do you like best about the product?
As an all in one social media management platform, it allows our regional team to be able to schedule and manage multiple client accounts at the same time.

Captions are easily created which is a timesaver when managing multipe accounts with different brand personalites.
What do you dislike about the product?
The onboarding of new employees to the platform can be seen as overwhelming to a person new to social media. However, with practice it gets easier


The pricing is still a cause for concern as the company continues to look at the overall service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a regional company, Hootsuite helps to manage mulitple accounts across various platforms. It provides a unified dashboard where we can manage all of our accounts in one place. The varrious features allow our teams to work seamlessly within Hootsuite - content approval from clients, tracking progress ,assigning tasks, are straightforward, making it ideal for our regional teams.

What do you like best about the product?
I like all of the engagement insights I can see for our business account. Those metrics have been so helpful for me to see what type of content performs best. I also love the suggested times to post based off our followers typical engagment throughout the week. It feels like a cheat code!! I also love the simplicity and the overall look of Hootsuite. It is very easy on the eyes and did not overwhelm me as a first-time user! I also love that I cannot schedule "too far" in advance. Atleast, I have not run into an error message saying I could not upload past a certain date. Also, being able to schedule each post for multiple platforms is so convenient and I appreciate that you can adjust the caption per platform. The AI writer has been a gamechanger for me!
What do you dislike about the product?
That you cannot schedule or upload facebook stories. I know that this is probably outside of Hootsuite's control and probably an issue with Meta. It is just inconvenient to have to switch over to meta business suite and seperately schedule out stories just for facebook. It can be confusing and hard to keep up with when planning content on a month out basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Planning a social media calendar! It makes my job so much easier by being able to schedule out our company's post and not worry about posting them real time.
