Hootsuite makes keeping our social media presence consistent and relevant easy
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite helps me be super-efficient with this part of my job. I've tried other platforms and they are very time consuming and unnecessarily complicated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Literally nothing - I love Hootsuite and I've recommended it and I'm trying to get it for another organization I volunteer with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps me efficiently keep our social media accounts fresh and relevant. It also helps us reach more people. Hootsuite is so easy to use I can literally schedule weeks of content in less than half the time of other platforms and definitely less than posting directly in each channel.

I love how easy Hootsuite makes scheduling posts!

I wish hashtags were saved with a click of a button.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is an amazing way to gather all of my content but make small changes for each platform. It is super easy to use and the customer service is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that I cannot edit stories directly from Hootsuite. It makes it hard to get approval on story content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is helping me draft and save content in advance so I can get it approved by other members of my team.
Library visibility and engagement through Hootsuite
What do you like best about the product?
Librarians always have something to impart or inform our academic community. The library always has training, activities, or something to showcase to the users. This is where Hootsuite helped a lot in managing and scheduling posts, as well as engaging with our users. Library staff will schedule announcements of training or activity in advance and may do other tasks at hand. As an admin, I can also see activities made by personnel assigned to the application.
The beauty of the analytics report is very easy and comfortable to use. We seldom get in touch with customer support for issues.

What do you dislike about the product?
Now and then, social media accounts are disconnected or are unlinked in the account. This is the only issue I find tiresome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a number of social media accounts that we tend to post similar announcement. With Hootsuite, we can just go to one platform to engage and manage posts.
Social media analytics is also available and easily retrieved in Hootsuite. Said analytics are crucial in the provision of justifications to add resources or services in the department.

Keeps me organized
What do you like best about the product?
I love the calendar tool. I like to easily see what I have scheduled out for the week/month at one quick glance. I also like to create simple drafts so I know placements for future posts all in one place. I use it daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have many dislikes. I mostly have only had the time to use hootsuite for scheduling social posts. I haven't had the chance to deep dive into analytics or social listening to have a strong opinion

biggest thing hootsuite solves for me is scheduling for every social media platform in one place.
Time saver
What do you like best about the product?
Makes scheduling across platforms quicker and more accuarte data analysis because data is measured in the same way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think the suggested best times to post is very accurate. I don't like that I can not analyse specific campaigns without seeing data from all social posts.

Its really time to schedule posts as opposed to scheduling on individual platforms.
10 Years of Reliable Social Media Management
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Hootsuite for nearly a decade, and it’s been a reliable tool for managing multiple social media accounts. I love how easy it is to schedule posts in advance, which saves me time. At one point, I was handling 9 accounts across 3 businesses, and Hootsuite made it manageable. Now, I manage just 3 accounts for my restaurant, The Lakehouse, and it continues to streamline my daily tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it’s been a solid platform overall, there have been times when the interface felt a bit clunky or slow, especially with managing multiple accounts at once. The occasional glitches with post scheduling can be frustrating. But overall, the pros far outweigh the cons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite solves the problem of staying consistent and organized with social media management. Scheduling posts ahead of time allows me to plan content in advance and ensures that my restaurant, The Lakehouse, stays active on all platforms, even during busy times. It’s a huge time-saver, especially since I’m managing multiple accounts and don’t always have time to post in real-time. This consistency has helped maintain engagement and grow our online presence.

Hootsuite is a helpful tool for businesses to put multiple accounts in one place and to have multiple people share and collaborate across platforms and track.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, some aspects of tagging, like tagging people, aren't available, and you need to ensure posts go through effectively, as sometimes they do not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps put all social media accounts in one spot so we don't have to log into each account differently. It also allows to easily copy and repurpose across different platforms. Helps with tracking data.
Hootsuite Pros and Cons
What do you like best about the product?
We are managing so many social accounts at the same time, with Hootsuite we can manage/schedule our weekly plan easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are constantly having connection problem, espacially with Instagram. We couldn't solve this with Hootsuite support. So it is still on going problem. We also think that interface is a bit outdated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to manage so many accounts at the same time for different brands, Hootsuite will help to schedule our weekly plan easily. But interface is outdated. Hootsuite should update its interface as there are many competitiors are giving much more user friendly tools.
Great tool for Nonprofits
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite offers free and discounted use for nonprofits and for my specific clients, that's such a huge win. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, easy to learn, and offers helpful insights that aren't just basic-level like some platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've found that Hootsuite hasn't been good for my clients who need extremely in-depth data. Insights aren't basic, but they aren't very detailed, either. Having multiple people working in the platform also doesn't feel seamless to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite has been great for my clients who are just starting out with social media and analytics and don't know what they're doing yet. It's also an affordable option for my nonprofits that have small budgets and/or limited manpower.
