Useful But Expensive

What do you like best about the product?
I depend on Hootsuite to schedule posts and distribute to our social platforms without the hassle of doing individual posts. The ability to tailor each post by channel is invaluable. I especially like the analytics feature so I can evaluate the performance of posts and using the "best time to post" feature for greater exposure. The Hootsuite team occasionally offers webinars on social media topics that I have found very educational.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had challenges posting reels to Instagram. There have been a few instances where my scheduled posts have failed to go through. However, my biggest gripe is the price. My last renewal more than DOUBLED in cost, making the expense challenging for a small business. I reached out to customer service with my complaint and got a very canned response. I am considering switching tools solely because of the price increase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite takes the hassle out of managing multiple social media channels. It offers a convenient solution for scheduling posts, tracking performance and monitoring social engagement.

What do you like best about the product?
Scedulking pictures and captions is nice
What do you dislike about the product?
Short videos are whats most in rn and we cant even scedule video posts with trending sounds for each platform. I understand the complexities but its just really annoying. Maybe work with each platform so that we can schedlue video posts with trending sounds that we get lisencing for. I just manually post videos

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to pre plan and schedule social media posts. I find the program user friendly and the new AI feature has been helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to be able to see my calendar while selecting a time for the post I am working on scheduling. It would save some back and forth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps with time management. The ability to pre schedule posts is fantastic

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Hootsuite for quite some time at two different organizations. When you're trying to post to multiple channels often--daily, in fact--it really helps uncomplicate the process. Implementing and maintaining Hootsuite is relatively easy. We appreciate the new AI feature, Trending Topics, analytics and the Social Relationship Score, as well. All of these help with developing content and determining which channels and content are performing best.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not a huge fan of the dashboard design. I think it's the pale palette, which doesn't help distinguish the different components.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have lots of content to disseminate on a regular basis, and Hootsuite helps us create, review and post in an organized way. Posting to each individual channel would be very time consuming.

The dashboard can be a bit fussy at times, mainly becaue i dont use all of the features

Saves hours of time, by allowing us to schedule posts on a weekly basis, rather than daily.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to schedule posts, edit them, analyze your social media presence and respond to messages from all platforms
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is having to find the correct handles on Instagram & X - it'd save so much time if you could search like you can for Facebook & LinkedIn.

Having to schedule, message and monitor social media in each platform.

What do you like best about the product?
I’ve tried numerous social media management tools, but HootSuite stands out for many reasons. One of the features I love the most is the content overview through streams. It makes monitoring multiple platforms and accounts seamless by allowing me to see everything in one place—whether it’s scheduled posts, mentions, or engagement, it’s all easy to track.

Another thing I love is the competitive overview. HootSuite provides clear insights into how my content stacks up against competitors, helping me stay ahead and fine-tune my strategy.

And of course, the analytics are top-notch! The data HootSuite provides is both comprehensive and easy to digest, helping me make informed decisions about my social media profiles. I’ve often felt frustrated with the limitations of other tools, but HootSuite has consistently delivered with its reliability, flexibility, and depth of features.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is one area where I've noticed a challenge: the page results and analytics show discrepancies compared to Meta's native reporting. While I understand that Meta imposes certain restrictions on third-party apps, it would be helpful if HootSuite could highlight more where and why these differences occur. I know that these infos exist in the tool, however offering clearer transparency on this would ensure users are fully informed about data variances and can make even more accurate assessments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing and optimizing multiple social media accounts across various platforms which lead to improved engagement, better marketing decisions, and increased effectiveness of our overall social media strategy, saving time and resources in the process.

And the whole knowledge base of HootSuite is amazing!

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can post across all our social media platforms with one click.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the tagging dynamic as it currently is. It's glitchy and won't allow certain things. But overall it's pretty good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is solving a lot of problems for me. I find it very beneficial that I can save time by posting across all our platforms and proactively schedule posts for the future.

What do you like best about the product?
It's great to be able to manage multiple social media accounts from a single dashboard. Planning ahead is also a breeze with scheduling feature, knowing that I won't miss out on a crucial date to post content. AI powered tools are also essential these days to boost productivity, which I am glad is available for me when it comes to caption writing and help with content ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing can be pretty expensive, not accessible for smaller organisations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me address fragmented social media management. It's really nice to be able to manage all social channels from a single dashboard as it ensures consistency of content across all platforms. I also love the social listening feature as it allows me to stay on top on what's happening so that I can work that into content planning.
