Seamless Social Media Management with Hootsuite
What do you like best about the product?
Using Hootsuite allows me to plan and schedule social media posts ALL FROM ONE PLATFORM.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really say there is anything I truly dislike about Hootsuite. I love that they have training and certifications available but I wish the trainings were a bit more accessible for me. Everyone learns different - I'd love reference worksheets I could download and post to my wall with simple tricks, tips, and shortcuts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm often asked what posts are getting traffic or what campaigns have value. Using Hootsuite's analytics helps me show my employer what's working and what isn't with concrete numbers.
Can't Imagine Doing My Job Without Hootsuite
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Hootsuite for five or six years and I cannot imagine running my business, the size that it is, without it. There have been so many upgrades since I've begun using this product and each one makes my job easier and easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any downsides right now, for the purpose of my business, it's perfect!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making my job as a social media manager easier by using the AI and scheduler.
Not as happy as I used to be
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to post to all of our many pages at once is great. Hootsuite is very straightforward and easy to use. Dashboards are easy to set up and you can see all accounts in one consolidated place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lately a lot of posts haven't been posting when scheduled and I find an email the next morning that my content didn't post with no real explanation. There's nothing unusual about the content - it just doesn't post. I'm struggling with the reliability and have trouble trusting that things will happen when I need them to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a central office and 15 branch locations, so it's great to be able to post the same content to many or all of the pages simultaneously. It saves time and keeps things consistent.
Great little social scheduler
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has made leaps and bounds of improvements over the years in their scheduling program. I love the addition of the AI for when that pesky creative brain strikes. The editing of images to fit each platform is handy, and the editing feature is a lifesaver for edits needed before the post(s) go live. We use Hootsuite about 6 days a week- it's our holy grail for posting social. Easy to follow formats for posting and a user-friendly interface makes the implementation and intergration of Hootsuite a no-brainer for our company. Most recently, I REALLY love their webinars and tips and tricks. I try and attend as many as I can - they are hugely helpful for staying relevant on social media.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see a better reel capability to be added! That would make this program a solid 10!

Creative block- AI is helpful, scheduler recs for when to post helps engagement peak.

What do you like best about the product?
Everything is in one place and simple to find. I like the link easy one click to shorten a link. I like the simple preview per social channel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occassionally there's a character within the text of a post that invalidates the post, but no pointer to highlight which character is invalid, so it can take time to delete text until you track it down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite benefits me by centralising my social activity onto one platofrm, saving me time and the effort of logging in accross platforms.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Hootsuite allows you to schedule a post on multiple platforms together in one spot. Other platforms, like meta, make you go into each individual platform and schedule a post, which takes longer to post on all platforms.

What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, a social media account will disconnect and Hootsuite won't make the scheduled post if disconnected. You have to manually check your connection every now and then to make sure all accounts are connected.
Other times, when posting a carousel-style post on Facebook and Instagram (combined), all the pictures appear on facebook, but only the cover photo of the carousel posts on Instagram.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My hope is that Hootsuite solve the issue of posting all the carousel photos when I post on Instagram and facebook together. Normally when I combine both platforms in my scheduling, it will launch as it should on facebook but will only take the cover photo and leave out the rest on Instagram.
Also, I would hope that Hootsuite find a way to leave all the social media platforms connected and not have them disconnect periodically. I would like to be able to schedule a post and forget about it and trust that Hootsuite will make the post. There are times that I walk away and for some reason that one of my accounts disconnects and the post doesn't go out to that account.

Great social scheduling platform
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is easy to navigate and works well for managing our offices and clients social media accounts. New upgrades and features have been easy to adopt and utilize.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite can be a bit on the pricey side of things.

A flexible platform with continuing upgrades
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has been invaluable for our business in regards to its constant upgrades. New features, fuctionality, and flexibility allow the platform to incorperate new uses in the ver changing world of socia media advertising.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being able to resize images and rescale on the fly. Our current content is created out of house, and being able to adjust in the interface would be a huge help.

Time saving. Plain and simple. Being able to schedule with ease, content over weeks/months.

One of my favourite features is the recommended posting time, so I can be sure to get maximum visibility for each post. It's also very easy to use and doesn't require a learning curve.
Best of all, the nice visual display of the Publisher page helps me keep track of the posts I'm pre-scheduling for a month, so I don't make a mistake.

I sometimes find that I can't tag someone, but then the same happens on LinkedIn itself, so I think it's probably more of a LinkedIn issue?

Hootsuite makes it easy to quicly schedule posts for multiple clients, without having to log in and out of several accounts.

What do you like best about the product?
I can post across platforms and I also like the AI content creator app for inspiration when I have a mental block. It is also easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite is not yet connected to LinkedIn.
