Love the automated boosting feature and post scheduling tools!
What do you like best about the product?
The automated boosts are great! I love how easy it is to make a monthly boost of all my posts that are scheduled and divide the budget between all of them. The scheduling tool is great too and super easy to use. It posts on all social media platforms and reminds me about the requirements for each.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much. Sometimes there's some glitches when scheduling a post but nothing major. I schedule around 60 posts a month in 3 different platforms and get an error with a post around once every 3 months so it's not a big deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves a lot of time. Let's me automate a lot of tasks and plan ahead.
The best social media scheduling platform out there
What do you like best about the product?
The best product in the market, I love the ease of social media scheduling, reporting, comparing reports and how easy the website is to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I sometimes dislike is the timeframes when reporting can get a little confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company had a problem with tracking social media growth and now we are able to do it in one platform.
Great tool to make life easier
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to schedule everything in one place and post to multiple platforms at the same time. I can preview everything and view analytics all in one place. I'm able to schedule a month's worth of social posts quickly and see the spread of posts across the month in the calendar view.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the new interface a little more cumbersome to set the time of the scheduled post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite makes it quick to schedule alot of posts. It saves me time and makes it easy to see everything in one place.
Good for small businesses
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of scheduling posts across multiple platforms and integrating said platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The hashtag tool is useless - it doesn't suggest tags that are trending or anything that would extend the reach of posts, they're just random keywords pulled from the post I'm creating. I wish it functioned better. I also don't like the recommended posting times because they don't make sense to me. If you go to schedule a post, and select recommended times in the editor, it suggests a different time than what is listed on the scheduling calendar. It makes me think that it's not using the actual analytics to recommend the best times to post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows me to post on all of our businesses social profile without having to do it individually which saves me a lot of time. That is the main thing I use it for.
Hootsuite: My Go-To Tool for Simplified Social Media Planning
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is an incredibly user-friendly tool that I rely on for all my social media planning and design needs. Its simplicity makes it an excellent choice for those looking to streamline their social media efforts. One of the standout features is the seamless integration with Canva, which allows for quick and easy design creation directly within the platform. The ability to draft posts and maintain them is also a significant advantage, making it easy to manage and adjust content as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
While rare, occasional glitches can cause scheduled posts to fail without any notification, leading to content not being published as planned. The AI tool for generating captions is also somewhat limited, as it’s not available in the standard post-creation area, which would be the most intuitive place for it. Finally, it would be incredibly helpful to have an option to export all scheduled posts, complete with images and captions, for a given month. This feature would make it easier to share plans with corporate teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite addresses the challenge of streamlined social media planning, which has been a significant benefit for us. By centralizing all our social media efforts on one platform, it allows us to efficiently schedule, draft, and design posts across multiple channels. This not only saves time but also ensures a consistent and well-organized content strategy, helping us maintain a cohesive online presence without the hassle of managing each platform individually.
Excellent Experience & Wonderful Tool
What do you like best about the product?
One of the most helpful tools for our marketing/social media teams. It is easy to use, has multiple features to help schedule and prioritze posts. 10/10 great tool.

Could not find much that I dislike! It is easy and simple to use!

Saves time and stress, being able to schdule and manage our socials on Hootsuite is perfect!
Easy to use, comprehensive social management tool
What do you like best about the product?
All-in-one content posting solution that even includes some basic photo editing tools

No longer has a free basic plan, but the pricing for what it offers is overall reasonable for a single user.

Makes it easy to post to multiple social channels at the same time while still being able to make slight customizations and adjustments to curate the post for each channel, tag the right people/accounts, and use varying hashtags.
Great for Nonprofits
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has all the tools necessary to improve your social media presence across different channels. The redesign of Hootsuite has also elevated the visual components of a great platform. Overall, I would recommend using Hootsuite given that it's easy to use and customer support has been great, specially when setting up our non-profit account.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm the only person on our team (non-profit) that manages social media for the organization. The platform does a great job in providing access to tool that can help us live out our mission. I wish Hootsuite could promote their academy a bit more and blogs more. I often find myself looking for resources to develop strategic decisions while using Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing me to manage content much more effectively. This also creates enabling conditions for bringing others into the organization as we continue to build infrastructure.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been a dedicated Hootsuite user for the past decade, and it's been impressive to witness its evolution from a basic social media scheduling tool to an all-encompassing marketing platform. It now empowers me to monitor our brand across the web, discover and share engaging content, analyze our performance, and strategically plan our campaigns well ahead of time.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's probably the cost; it's getting a tad pricey, but it does replace multiple marketing tools and subscriptions. It is a bit of a sell to senior management.

It allows me to monitor all our social channels in one location, provide in-depth reporting to management and schedule our content in advance
Good but could use some work
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is amazing with the features and capabilities. It's great for my team to submit conent and easy for me to approve or edit as needed. The analytics are good and it's nice to be able to see the streams in real time from each platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite falls short in a few places, in my opinion. Firstly, adding my team members was kind of difficult with not very clear instruction. Secondly, customer support has been beyond lackluster. The time to wait for a response from support is atrocious. And lastly, pricing; I would benefit from having a total of 5 users on my account but the company and myself find the pricing outrageous. Even with 3 it's costly but the benefits for that amount of people are worth it to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is making managing all of our social media accounts and content easy and efficient. As the marketing director of our dealership, it makes my day to day so much more productive not having to have my team email me their content before it can be posted. This also eliminates me from having to do all the posting myself.
