One stop shop for socials
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite provides a one stop shop to streamline the posting and customizing process for content across multiple platforms in a central hub where my collaborators and I can preview the content before it goes public. The analytics tab is also a terribly helpful amalgamator of data for grant reporting and strategizing.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only complaint is the price -- even with the nonprofit discount this is steep for my organization, and Hootsuite should be aware that a small org might save money and not affect their sales bottom line much by just embracing Meta's free tools if they dispense with X and others in order to focus on their strongest audience. I also find that on Facebook some emojis translate to small boxes, which interferes with the message.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I know Hootsuite is working on integrating ad buys into their platform but I honestly haven't tried anything yet from that integration.
Good tool, a bit cumbersome
What do you like best about the product?
All of my social platforms are in one place
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a good tool, though I find it a bit cumbersome sometimes. Sometime it is simply easier to execute posting through the channels themselves to get an accurate repesentation of what the posts will look like. I also wish I was able to tag people in image via hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage many different social accounts. It allows me to access them and view their content all in one place

What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Hootsuite for the past few months to manage my work's social media posts, and I can confidently say it has transformed the way I approach our online presence. A few reasons I love it is the ease of use and simple scheduling. I like being able to see a monthly view of our posts. This has helped me maintain a consistent posting schedule, even during busy weeks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’ve been using Hootsuite for several months now, and I can honestly say I have nothing negative to report!

Hootsuite is helping me maintain a consistent posting schedule.
Excellent tool that helps with productivity
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has allowed for me to schedule content further into the future with more ease of use than any other tool. I truly appreciate how easy it is to complete the integration process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have anything that I dislike about Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to cross post content and easily repurposing posts with updated content.
Useful social scheduling but with some gaps
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a useful tool. The scheduling feature helps me stay organised, which is great, but I often find myself working outside of this. It’s nice being able to set things up in advance, but it’s not without its quirks.
Posting to multiple networks is definitely more efficient than doing it manually, but I wouldn’t say it’s effortless. It still takes a bit of tweaking to get everything right across different platforms, but it does save time.
As for the analytics, they’re useful. It’s handy to have all the data in one place, and it helps me see what’s working. Overall, Hootsuite does its job, but it’s not perfect and could be improved. The same could be said for all the competitors so I expect part of the restriction is the social networks themselves.

The biggest downside for me, and it's true of all hootsuite competitors too as far as I know - you cannot schedule PDF posting to Linkedin. This feature has me stepping outside of hootsuite more than any other.

Hootsuite solves mass scheduling issues and saves time - but not across all networks and media types.
Hootsuite is a game changer!
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite makes life so much easier, particularly when managing multiple brands. Really easy to implement and get the team up to speed with use - which we do pretty much everyday.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some issues with scheduling every now and then and tagging on LinkedIn specifically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to Hootsuite our process for managing the social media across a house of brands was really manual - as was reporting and monitoring - that's no longer the case.

What do you like best about the product?
Can share cross-channel updates easily which saves lots of time and resource

Can sometimes be a little clunky when looking to crop image sizes dependent on channel being used

The ability to schedule content into the future. Assess content success and engagement. View competitor content for comparison to support better content creation, improvement and optimisation.

Would like this platfrom to have the ability to create content at a higher level and scheudle advertising with more features.

Planning social media content in advance, being able to download previous content and analyzing social media usage.

There are not really any downsides to using Hootsuite, everything is very useful.
