Hootsuite has made social media marketing as painless as possible for our non-profit!
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is fantastic because it allows you to monitor and manage all of your social media platforms from one place. What I appreciated most was all of the free guides and training offered. I was new to my position and had to learn what I could on the go. Their training made it so easy! There's also a very handy mobile app.
The setup was a piece of cake, and the interface is extremely user-friendly. There are ai components built in, along with a media library and a customizable analytics page. We use this software literally every day.

What do you dislike about the product?
I receive all messages sent from our platforms, EXCEPT for Facebook event invites. I got so used to doing everything through this platform because you can for most things. I did not realize that one of our community partners had invited us to co-host an event and it was almost an issue when I did not accept. I wish you could see event invites within your messages.
However, Hootsuite is always asking for ways to improve, and then implementing those solutions, so I wouldn't be surprised if that changes shortly after this review goes live!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite solves a lot of scheduling nightmares by giving me a comprehensive calendar for all platforms. It is also great for inspiring new ideas.
Hootsuite sets the standard for Social Media Management
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a one-stop-shop for my social media management needs. It allows me to integrate several platforms into one easy to navigate dashboard. This, along with analytics which allow for comparative analysis, Hootsuite sets the bar very high and I couldn't imagine how much more challenging my work would be without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I loved the grammerley integration. I think it needs a comparable offering for analysing posts on the fly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Several platforms in one place saves time.
Stay Organized & Post Consistently
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has been a huge time saver in my daily workflow — managing 10 social accounts, I used to log into and post on each separately, which could take an hour or more per piece of content. Now, I can post to multiple accounts at once, repurposing and re-writing content suited to each platform quickly and efficiently. Implimenting Hootsuite for my company has been one of my biggest successes in my role.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to be able to scheudle & post to Instagram stories via Hootsuite. I hope this is a feature that comes in the near future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It used to take me hours per week to schedule social media content. Now, I spend a few minutes a day scheduling and organizing content, making my workflow much more effient and my posts more consistent across my company's social media accounts.
Perfect for Non-Profits
What do you like best about the product?
I love how user-friendly Hootsuite is. The interface is constantly being worked on and unlike many platforms that change things you like, Hootsuite has always improved its layout. It is also very easy to get in touch with someone if you're confused on how to do something or to know if you are able to do something on Hootsuite.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I don't like is it took us a while to figure out exactly what plan we needed. It was a little confusing to know without buying a plan what all we received with each subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Absolutely love their analytics and how much you can personalize what you want to see. We also send off analytics for board meetings and being able to download a PDF with all the analytics we look at quickly is so beneficial.
Hootsuite - Effective & Always Improving
What do you like best about the product?
As a social media and content manager, I love using Hootsuite every week to schedule social media posts. In fact, I switched to Hubspot for a while but went back to Hootsuite because I found it so much easier to use. I love the calendar feature and being able to visualize the layout and schedule of posts throughout the week. The analytics are also quite useful for understanding which posts do better and why. But my favorite part of Hootsuite is their commitment to always adding features to make it better for users—it's always improving.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the recent development I haven't loved is the addition of AI. I don't find it useful, and the environmental impact of AI tools is largely negative. It also detracts from creative professions. I would prefer if Hootsuite removed the AI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recently, Hootsuite provided beneficial insights into the popularity of social media posts at different times. Using the analytics, we were able to see which posts did best among our audience and noticed that the posts from later in the day were performing better. This was possible due to Hootsuite's engagement statistics. We then began tailoring our posts to the most optimal times and saw an increase in engagement on both Twitter/X and Instagram. Excellent platform to share socials
What do you like best about the product?
It's intuitive and easy to schedule out an entire social campaign so you can plan everything in advance

I can not think of any glaring issues that I dislike.

Hootsuite aggregates all of our social media posts and analytics in one place for easy reference so we can determine what's working and what we should adjust.
Super Social Media Planning and Scheduling Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Used the tool for scheduling the posts through various social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn. It is very user-friendly and I was able to track the SMM performance with their in-depth reporting features. Hats-off!

As a startup, the pricing structure was a bit hard for our pockets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Handling multiple social media handles of a business is the worst headache in marketing. Hootsuite makes it way simple with a scheduling feature and by providing a dashboard where we can control all the activities of every social media handle.
Hootsuite Review
What do you like best about the product?
It made it really easy to schedule social content in advance, even months out. It was also very simple to go in and make changes/edit content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I ever had with Hootsuite was the preview function not always showing an accurate preview of the social post. Specifically, when I was posting an article and the post itself would automatically generate an article teaser image, but the teaser image would not always show up in the preview feature in Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite solved the problem of keeping our social calendar full and organized. It helped us ensure we were posting regularly, and allowed us to plan far in advance. It was especially helpful for being able to schedule posts for while I was on PTO or out of office.

Hootsuite Amplify has been a game-changer for our company's social media strategy. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, making it easy for our employees to share pre-approved content on their personal social media accounts. This has significantly increased our reach and engagement. The integration with the main Hootsuite dashboard is seamless, and the analytics feature provides valuable insights into the performance of our advocacy efforts.
The gamification aspect keeps our team motivated and engaged, and it's great to see everyone contributing to our brand's presence online. The only challenge we've faced is ensuring consistent usage among all employees, but with some internal promotion and support, adoption has been steadily improving.

It helps me manage my personal social media accounts and I love the ease and efficiency of use. 5 minutes a week keep my profile active and top of mind in my industry.

You can schedule your posts to all your social media accounts simultaneously, while you can customize each post according to the specs, without doing each one individually. You can click on each platform's tab, make changes as required, and then schedule a date and time. So easy, and user-friendly. You are saving time and it is easy to use.

You are limited and can't post to your Facebook groups, but only to your Facebook pages.

Hootsuite is a one-stop platform where you can post to different social media accounts all at once, without having to use a specific tool or product to post to each social platform.
