Absolutely LOVE Hootsuite - makes my job so much easier!
What do you like best about the product?
It is so easy to use -- and even for a journalist like me -- having help on what is best for the different types of social media to grab attention is amazing! I love that I can calendar out my posts, I can re-hash my best posts, and the calendar even suggests a theme for the day. I didn't think I would care for AI but it's really wonderful for this kind of work when we are marketing our programs and admittedly my brain tends to say the same thing over and over. It's also wonderful to have a one stop shop on how to access analytics, plan and review how posts went!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had trouble connecting with our instagram but it's not your fault - the issue is with a previous admin for that account and so I have had trouble connecting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It consolidates all my marketing and team communication through social media. It helps me come up with fresh ideas and not to be too wordy that I lose interest from our followers. I have recommended hootsuite to many of my collegues.
Hootsuite: Managing two different accounts
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has been consistently easy to use. Even when they've made enhancements over the years, it has not impacted usability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could post Stories easily to Instagram from Hootsuite
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My problem is being able to consistenly manage and update social media posts for two different brands. I'm able to easily do this with Hootsuite.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how they make it so easy to schedule things out! And I love the display of the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can not add collaborators to Instagram posts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling out things on one click! They also give me recommended times to post! Having the analytics has really helped so I don't have to track that automatically.

What do you like best about the product?
Once you have it set up it is incredibly efficient and an easy first step into the world of social media management
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting it set up is a little complicated. Approving all the different accounts and with my plan it's only allowing me to run one of my Instagram accounts but I still enjoy it

I use it mainly for scheduling posts and adding longer and nicer copy to my Instagram posts
Long term quality and stability
What do you like best about the product?
I've been a Hootsuite user for almost a decade. It's stable, intuitive, and easy to use. They've kept up with changes in the social media landscape and keep users informed.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can be limited with the basic account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One place to load content for an extended period of time that's released when needed.
Good starter tool, but leaves more to be desired
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Hootsuite is straightforward and easy to use. The tool provides a look into most social media metrics, and the dashboards are very customizable. It's also very easy to connect social media accounts and integrate the tool into a company's workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've used Hoosuite for a few years, and I constantly find myself looking for a more granular look into certain metrics. For instance, you can't see data like engagement rates or total interactions per post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Hootsuite to monitor the performance of our clients' organic posts. It makes our workflows easier by capturing broad data in one place, saving us time. However, we do find that the data is a little limited and could be more granular to be even more helpful in our strategy.
Fantastic ease of use.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it was to get started on Hootsuite. I was intimidated by a new platform, but was pleasantly surprised.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I do not like about Hootsuite is in the analytics. This may be completely user error but I cannot change the colors of my charts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is our social media dashboard. We love being able to control all of our social media accounts in one area.
I like HootSuite, but I often have problems with it "disconnecting" from social media platforms.

The number of features it has to offer, and I can plan my weeks out so well.

The constant failure to post notifications.

Helps with the problem of forgetting when/which platform to post on.

I love that we can be a lot in the same account, that we could schedule things.

Sometimes the accounts get disconnected for no reasons.
