    Non-Profit Organization Management

If you have multiple social media channels, you need Hootsuite

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use! I have worked in social media for 11 years and Hootsuite is by far the easiest social media organizational tool I've ever used. We easily post to multiple accounts for multiple programs several times a day with the calendar feature and it could not be easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing in Hootsuite that I get frustrated with, which is rare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a team of social media content creators and it is convient to have one place where we can all post and optimize our posting times to bring the biggest engagement for our respective programs. Hootsuite makes it easy to manage.

Critical tool for social, especially small teams

What do you like best about the product?
Working for a nonprofit with a small team, being able to coordinate posts, content calendar, social listening, etc with the dispersed team is a HUGE advantage. I've used Hootsuite on and off for 10+ years and they have come so far as a tool for social. The interface is actually pretty easy to use and is especially easy to train up team members how to get the most from it. Being able to integrate the tool for the whole team so easily is a bonus. The overall best part is the community. Such a vibrant and thriving community of users who are willing to help each other.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly don't know what I'd change. It's come so far from the old Excel on steroids interface and is so easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Frankly, just being able to quantify how all of our digital is doing time over time has been huge. It's been able to help us get a real grasp on where we are as an org and how we are actually doing.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is always seamless and fluid, which makes scheduling and reporting easy to use! I use the software monthly to schedule social media posts across all our organic channels, and I feel it easily integrates with Google Analytics and our reporting systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do find that sometimes, when uploading videos, the dimensions are correct, and the footage is rendered and exported correctly, but Hootsuite doesn't allow me to upload it to the necessary channels.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is allows me to sschedule and report on social media content our brand puts out across several organic channels and do it seamlessly, this is something these channels don't feature directly so Hootsuite allows us to streamline this process and bulk schedule on a month-by-month basis.

Best bang for your buck — as long as you only need one user

What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use and implement. I love that all of our DMs and comments are in one spot. It makes it easy to stay on top of engagement. The reports are helpful to get quick at a glance data. I also like that it can make social media ad buying easier. I compared 6 different scheduler apps and this had all the features we wanted and enough profile slots for our organization at a reasonable price.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like the optimal posting time feature, but I wish there was a setting that allowed you to say "post at the next optimal time" rather than having to schedule it to see optimal times.
Additionally, when researching schedulers, I was hoping that the "repurposing top-performing posts" feature would be a little more automated, like HS would tell me an article did well and ask if I want to reshare it with maybe a different tagline. That isn't the case.
The cost for more than one user is also pretty prohibitive for our small org, so we all share one profile, which makes the collaboration features moot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has made posting on social media much faster and more efficient. I love that I only need to open one window to post to all the platforms. It saves us time and ultimately money.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use the platform for a starter. The benefits you get in the basic plan are good to get your scheduling started and track basic reporting. It was easy to set up and link the accounts, and depending on your process you can schedule in advance or on a daily basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limitations with audience building and demographic set up on the basic plans. You have to go entrerprise.

Scheduling the content calendar, and basic engagement reporting

Great Hub for Planning Your Social Media Posts

What do you like best about the product?
Before Hootsuite, I used several different applications to get all of my social media posts delivered, taking a lot of personal coordination, spreadsheets, and cross-checking, oftentimes missing my desired timelines. Now with Hootsuite, I save time (and money) planning all of my social media posts for optimal viewing including easily altering images so they look best for each platform. The ability to start with one key message and adjusting for each platform using Hootsuite's AI text generator has saved me so much time and brain energy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of my dislikes I assume are the social media applications restraints, such as not being able to tag accounts for Instagram. Scheduling stories would be most helpful, because now if I have a story for Facebook or Instagram, I have to use Meta Suite (boo).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When the best time to post is for each platform. Having all my social media planning in one spot.

What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, my favorite thing is the customization I can do for each individual platform post. What I want to say or tag on Instagram is different from Facebook and that has made things super simplistic for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I haven't enjoyed is the lack of being able to post stories from Hootsuite. It's nothing super serious and it doesn't affect my use of the site, but it would make things easier for Meta applications like Instagram, Facebook and Threads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have to post on several different platforms almost daily and using Hootsuite has been a huge help with planning ahead for postings on all of the necessary platforms my company uses.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite helps me be productive when scheduling content, the new AI is helpful in writing short Twitter posts, and having analtyics in one space is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the biggest drawbacks to Hootsuite is the cost and the increasing cost which makes it difficult for small businesses to depend on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posting to multiple platforms at one time.
