Great for Nonprofits

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has all the tools necessary to improve your social media presence across different channels. The redesign of Hootsuite has also elevated the visual components of a great platform. Overall, I would recommend using Hootsuite given that it's easy to use and customer support has been great, specially when setting up our non-profit account.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm the only person on our team (non-profit) that manages social media for the organization. The platform does a great job in providing access to tool that can help us live out our mission. I wish Hootsuite could promote their academy a bit more and blogs more. I often find myself looking for resources to develop strategic decisions while using Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing me to manage content much more effectively. This also creates enabling conditions for bringing others into the organization as we continue to build infrastructure.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been a dedicated Hootsuite user for the past decade, and it's been impressive to witness its evolution from a basic social media scheduling tool to an all-encompassing marketing platform. It now empowers me to monitor our brand across the web, discover and share engaging content, analyze our performance, and strategically plan our campaigns well ahead of time.

Setting up and getting started with Hootsuite is a breeze, and the intuitive mobile app ensures that I can effortlessly keep tabs on our social media presence wherever I am.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's probably the cost; it's getting a tad pricey, but it does replace multiple marketing tools and subscriptions. It is a bit of a sell to senior management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to monitor all our social channels in one location, provide in-depth reporting to management and schedule our content in advance

Good but could use some work

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is amazing with the features and capabilities. It's great for my team to submit conent and easy for me to approve or edit as needed. The analytics are good and it's nice to be able to see the streams in real time from each platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite falls short in a few places, in my opinion. Firstly, adding my team members was kind of difficult with not very clear instruction. Secondly, customer support has been beyond lackluster. The time to wait for a response from support is atrocious. And lastly, pricing; I would benefit from having a total of 5 users on my account but the company and myself find the pricing outrageous. Even with 3 it's costly but the benefits for that amount of people are worth it to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is making managing all of our social media accounts and content easy and efficient. As the marketing director of our dealership, it makes my day to day so much more productive not having to have my team email me their content before it can be posted. This also eliminates me from having to do all the posting myself.

Easy to use for social media management

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to schedule out posts on multiple platforms and creating reports for viewing metrics when needed. Hootsuite's interface is pretty intuitive for any level user.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have any dislikes about Hootsuite as a social media management tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a one-person social media team, Hootsuite makes my job easy. I enjoy being able to schedule posts according to the "best time" feature that Hootsuite offers. When I need impression or engagement numbers for reports, I can do that quickly through Hootsuite.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity of cross platform posting. It makes sharing content super easy for our team. The fact that I can customize the hashtags, captions, etc. ensures we get optimal reach with each of our posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price. If Hootsuite were more affordable I would use it for my personal business, but sadly there is no tier for simple businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows me as a Director to click on one button to view our entire social media status, likes, follows, engagements. It allows me to share this information with my executive team in a clear way that they can understand marketing much better.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the analytics and how easy everything is to see and learn to use. Scheduling posts and posting is easy and iiewing the calendar makes everything clear.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inconsistent when posting stories in a certain order you want, misses some story posts

Being able to schedule posts in advance, allows me to have more time to focus on other things

What do you like best about the product?
Love that Hootsuite is userfriendly and very easy to use. Love the analytics that come with it and that it is able to show me the post time to post on specific channels. It saves me a lot of time by not having to manually post to my social media channels. Love that it integrates with all the popular social media channels including YouTube.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really can't think of any downfalls to this product.

Helps with scheduling posts at the right time.

What do you like best about the product?
The organizational features to schedule out my content for my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost. And occasionally experiencing glitches in scheduling every now and then. For example, I scheduled out posts for one of my clients, and for some reason the same post ended up posting on another account linked to my Hootsuite. Luckily, it was my company's social media so I quickly noticed it, but it was a weird situation.
