Amazing Tool for Monitoring Social Media
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite provides effortlessly integrated monitoring of multiple social media platforms. It allows us to meet our customers' various needs on nearly any platform they choose to reach out on. It also provides intensive categorization and reporting tools that help us to keep track of trends in the topics that are most important to our customers from day to day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Recent updates to the tool have made our categorization process a bit more challenging; however, their team's support is always open to feedback and willing to consider their clients' feedback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps our business to engage with our customers on multiple platforms. It also helps us track data trends and analytics so we can keep the company updated on various hot topics.
One-stop shop.
What do you like best about the product?
As an early adopter, I've seen this program grow into a well-tailored tool that meets our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the recent updates seem to make things slightly more complicated. There's a learning curve, but Hootsuite has also been wonderful about taking our feedback into consideration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gathering data to help us track our productivity is made SO simple.
Flawed platform, with big potential

Easy way to schedule and manage content. Also relatively easy to manage other users
What do you dislike about the product?
LinkedIn does not allow personal tags at all on private pages and its very frustrating for business uses.
Does not allow for inbound tagging of content based off of certain keywords, which is extremely frustrating from a social listening standpoint

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I suppose the biggest problems its solving is allowing large groups of users to schedule and share content. It allows more people to take part in our social media ecosystem

Setting up dashboards and reports was time-consuming

Easy and well rounded social media management
What do you like best about the product?
It's quick to integrate and get set up. Their support is excellent, and they're proactive when something isn't working. The reporting tools make gathering informative feedback and conversations about your brand easy.
I like how the social feeds can be customized into different tabs to track keywords and specific topics you're concentrating on.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's one of the pricer options out there. The platform can slow down during peak hours, which makes it difficult to stay on top of your game - speed is of utmost importance in social media.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving time and energy that can be spent using the information that Hootsuite gathers. Takes the guesswork out of scheduling posts at the correct times to get peek visibility for your brand.
Using Hootsuite for centralised social media management
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Hootsuite makes managing my social media profiles a breeze. It has great support for many different platforms, and you can even schedule posts so that content is automatically published at the optimal time. The ability to generate analytics reports on every aspect of the platform is also really handy! Another nice perk is that there's no huge upfront cost to joining - with reasonable paid add-ons and free account options, it's easy to find something within your budget to suit all your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Hootsuite is a great platform overall, but I don't like how intimidating and complex it can be for those without any previous knowledge of customer relationship management software. A useful addition would be some sort of tutorial provided after the user downloads the application to help new users get up to speed more quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps my team and I save time by centralising our content and communication management. We were overwhelmed juggling all the different sites, applications, feedback and reviews we had to keep track of before we discovered Hootsuite - now it's a breeze.

social media management and the tags for analytics makes the reporting side a breeze
Hootsuite is what we started with but it has challenges
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has been our tool ever since I started with our team's social media function. We are able to use streams to monitor all of our social media channels, and provides the ease necessary without having to login every single function. Hootsuite Amplify, a feature included with our package, allows us to manage user experience among our subject matter experts, which helps with spreading ourbrand message.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite has changed ever since the pandemic-- and we have been experiencing a lot of bugs ever since they had challenges with their staff. Customer service is available with our package, but it usually takes a while for issues to be resolved. And to top it all off, Hootsuite now removes features that have been very helpful for us-- such as streams for Amplify. They also keep changing their user interface, removing features that have been very useful for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows us to see all posts across brands and manage posts under our brand, and this service also includes extracting metrics. Hootsuite also helps leverage our experts through Amplify.

Social activation across the practice
Hootsuite is great, Amplify falls short
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use social media publishing and planning tool, helpful integrations like Grammarly & Canva.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their Amplify advocacy tool falls short in some areas. Things like not being able to customize link previews for multiple platforms simultaneously. Also, the inability to share posts from company pages to encourage employees to re-share. I would like for there to be an option to email employees about new posts without having to fill out the details each time, like the mobile notification.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me with social media publishing and allows me to monitor employee engagement through their advocacy platform. It benefits our overall social media strategy.
