Positive Experience with Hootsuite
What do you like best about the product?
The Hootsuite planner is a great resource for scheduling posts for social media accounts. The consolidated inbox is also a great way to reply to all of your comments and questions in one easy to manage location. The Amplify tool for employee advocacy is also extremely helpful. In addition, the customer support for the platform is great. They are extremely responsive to any issues, and resolve problems quickly and kindly. We use Hootsuite multiple hours every day and we are overall very satisfied.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform has certain limitations that only have work arounds outside of the application. For instance, you can't post IG reels with trending sounds directly on IG. Aside from that, its wonderful!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps us to provide robust reporting metrics to help analyze the performance of the content we are generating. It helps us provide feedback that we can use to adjust strategy and the focus of our content to generate better results. It benefits us by making scheduling content to all of our channels efficient, by allowing us to do it from one location.
Will not let us out of a contract yet to start
What do you like best about the product?
Social listening package (7k), and regular platform is useful for scheduling posts, but hard to identify advantages vs. Sprout Social or similar platforms. Tiktok integration
What do you dislike about the product?
They trap users into contracts. Our contract was auto-renewed without notice or opportunity to cancel and b/c we didn't notify them 60 days prior to the renewal date, we are unable to cancel. So a product that we have 0 use for we are being forced to pay for. I don't understand this approach. Our investors have several businesses using hootsuite so this approach will hurt them long term in the aim for short term revenue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to schedule all of our social media posts across platforms and see growth metrics on audience, engagement, allowing us to identify themes and content formats resonating
Content marketer's best tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate and user-friendly. The streams make monitoring my company's platforms so much more efficient. Its so great being able to see everything at a glance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know this isn't a Hootsuite issue, but the main platform I use as a content marketer is LinkedIn, and it's a shame I can't use Hootsuite to post more or monitor more in LinkedIn. My company tags a lot of people in our LinkedIn posts so we are not able to use Hootsuite to post on LinkedIn most times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is saving me a lot of time when it comes to monitoring and analytics. Having all our social platforms in one place allows us to save time and produce metrics and content so much faster.

What do you like best about the product?
Working for an media organization with many social channels early on, Hootsuite allowed us to pull everything together, collaborate with each other and develop an overall social media strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
New features like Impact and Analytics can often be too complicated to use. And we've always had issues with posting some types of content or tagging because of 3rd party restrictions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite brings all our different departments and social media contributors together, and allows us to pull data across all channels. We've steadily grown our main brand channels because of this
Great experience for the last 4+ years
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite makes it very easy to schedule posts across multiple channels. I love the overall calendar view so I can make sure all our colleagues' posts are properly scheduled. I also love the inbox as it makes it easier to answer messages instead of going onto the channels directly. The team is very nice to work with and overall, my experience has been fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only things I dislike are the errors that occur when the sites update. There were a few periods of time where we were unable to schedule posts due to site updates and it was very frustrating. The other thing I don't like is that when you approve posts from the app, you are unable to see if the posts are geotargeted or not. The geotargeting is extremely vital for many pages and it is necessary to see on mobile. Because of this, I need to bring my computer when I travel and approve posts from my web browser. Approving apps on mobile is ineffective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves needing to log in directly on to the social media channels. It also solves managing our 13 brands' pages. We have a better view of every marketing campaign now and we are also able to measure results, which is very important.

The analytics, workflow (validation functions) and content planner.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of data for certain platforms. Not quite sure if Hootsuite Impact is worth it.

Centralizing all social media analytics in the same place, thus saving time.
Hootsuite - The easiest social media management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is still the easiest social management tool that I have used.
Granted I have used 2, another is Oracle SRM but this is still the better one.
It is highly intuitive, easy for new users and most of the features are self-explanatory.

Since Hootsuite is easy to use sometimes it is the downside of it.
The features are limited in terms of reporting.
There are also times that there are bugs or failure in posting and that error can take time to get resolved.

Mostly management and organizing the posts.
We cater to a vast number of industries and campaigns.
Organizing them and exporting the data makes it much easier to us instead of not using a tool that we would need to manually get the data or look to each one.

Incredibly intuitive and easy to learn social scheduling platform

- Easy to navigate around the platform, became second nature to me incredibly quickly

- Limited by API of social platforms, i.e. despite having Twitter Blue, I'm limited to 280 characters in Hootsuite

A Social Media Game Changer!
What do you like best about the product?
It's the all-in-one place to manage all your social media channels for your business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is when videos don't upload when you've scheduled content for weeks in advance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining brand consistency. The content library has allowed us to take full advantage of this across our club accounts.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is great for compiling internal reports for our partners on all of our social media channels. It's powerful and ways to use and has a plethora of options to tailor to your own needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be clunky sometimes and because there are so many options and data points it can be a little overwhelming to find exactly what you're looking for in the database.

Hootsuite is our go-to tool for building our social media reports which are crucial for internal stakeholders and partners alike. The power of the tool makes report writing a breeze!
