Hootsuite brought focus to our scattered social universe
What do you like best about the product?
I highly appreciate the unique capabilities of Hootsuite with regard to the content curation. We set up distinctive streams to find out the new discussion themes in our very narrow market niche. This aids us to come up with new content idea and also discover angles that have not been done before which are interesting to our target audience. It is amazing when it comes to being on the edge.
What do you dislike about the product?
A significant limitation is the fact that a strong degree of stream data history. Having old conversations in long term trends analysis becomes an export manual task. Besides, cross departmental sharing is hampered by the failure of that system to directly embed certain stream views to the internal dashboards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our department hitherto had been unable to transform the overwhelming quantities of unstructured external data into useful strategic intelligence. It was kind of consuming water out of a firehouse of pure facts. Hootsuite offers the framework that can be useful in condensing applicable industry talking points and competitor actions. This implies that we are now able to constantly derive useful information that reaches to us in terms of dealing with positioning in our strategic alliances in the market.
Recommend social media management for multiplatform campaigns!
What do you like best about the product?
What i personally find useful is that it keeps all my social accounts in one dashboard, making it easy to schedule, publish, and monitor posts without switching tabs. The calendar view is intuitive, and the analytics give clear insights into what’s working.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bulk scheduling could be smoother, and the mobile app sometimes lags when loading analytics. Pricing can also feel steep for small teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing posts across multiple platforms used to take up too much time and led to gaps in our content calendar. With Hootsuite’s unified dashboard, scheduling has become quicker, posting stays consistent, and tracking engagement no longer requires.
Loaded with features but you need time to adapt to it.
What do you like best about the product?
It offers what it is supposed to i.e. planning, scheduling, layers-of-approval if needed. The new AI integration named Owly makes it easier to write copies, see on-the-go performance of your posts, get suggestion on which posts to repurpose, etc. I also use the social listening tool in hootsuite, which is thorough, and extremely easy to use. Also, Hootsuite is pocket-friendly to have with all the tools employees will need under one platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Switching between platforms is not very convenient. We use Amplify, Core, Talkwalker, everything and it is not very user-friendly to switch among these platforms. Also, with the overload of features, sometimes you feel lost and you might not be able to find the path to something you earlier visited. In short, user interface can be made better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite makes it easier for larger companies with multiple social media teams to manage their online presence. The multi-level of permissions allows the flexibility to manage team permissions from super-admin to admin and restricted user. Companies can also customize Hootsuite interface as per their requirements and their customer support are always available to help if you have any bugs or issues with the app. They make it easy to onboard with multiple training sessions for your employees at your convenient (or multiple) time zones.

Social Media Management Made Simple
What do you like best about the product?
by allowing me to schedule, monitor, and analyze posts from one dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some advanced features, like in-depth analytics and team collaboration tools, are only available on higher-priced plans, which can be limiting for small businesses like mine

Hootsuite: The Go-To Tool I Rely On to Keep My Social Media Strategy Running Smoothly.
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is the answer to this chaos and juggle of many social media accounts. It schedule posts across multi-channel, observe real-time engagement, and quickly identify trends without flipping across various applications. It’s more like the control room where you get all the right information for on-the-go changes on campaigns … that is the analytics dashboard. Quick to respond; their customer support helped every time I was struggling to set up advanced tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more advanced features of Hootsuite are relegated to higher-tier plans, which proves irksome when you only need one or two of those tools. The interface, although robust, can be quite intimidating for new team members at first. I sometimes experience a delay in post publishing and end up double-checking my scheduled content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I save hours every week due to Hootsuite that I used to spend logging in manually and posting on different platforms. Brand mentions, competitor activity as well as performance measurement all can be done in one place—making the reporting to the clients much more credible and professional. Unlike juggling various tools like Buffer and Sprout Social, Hootsuite offers me that control over all aspects which is required for keeping my social strategy sharp and consistent in one place.
Best tool we've used... with caveats
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite makes a lot of what we do very simple. Love the integration with Asana, though we're still figuring it out. And the customer service is responsive when we do have a question or an issue. We're a small team, so implementation was not too difficult. We use this tool often, especially for scheduling and analytics!
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the things we wish Hootsuite offered was a la carte addition of accounts. We have 6 accounts to manage, which makes the basic features work for *most* of what we do. But the tool would be perfect if we could manage all six accounts at once. This is not unique about Hootsuite, but we do wish we could tag people in posts. Our industry is very personal, so only being able to tag company pages is difficult. Overall it's a much better tool and more affordable than anything we've used in the past. But we still feel like it is missing some features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows us to schedule everything in one place. Very simply. It makes my day run smoother and allows me to use fewer tools to accomplish the goals of our social media team. It also allows us to decode analytics on a deeper level with less work.
Reliable social scheduling tool that keeps campaigns on track!
What do you like best about the product?
It lets me plan posts across multiple networks in one place so i am not jumping between tabs all day. The calendar view makes it easy to see gaps in our schedule and shift posts around. I also like the bulk upload option which saves hours when prepping monthly content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics can feel limited unless you’re on a higher plan and the mobile app is slower when switching accounts. Sometimes scheduled posts fail without a clear reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before this I had to manually post for each client which meant late nights and missed time slots. Now I can schedule a week’s worth of content in one session and let it run. It’s reduced stress and helped keep consistent posting for all brands we manage.
Essential Tool for Small Non-Profit
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is complex, but with lots of tools and prompts, it can be easy to learn and easy to use! It catches most of your beginner mistakes before you do, and helps you learn how never to make them again.
One of the best tools that we have available to us as a small non profit.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the customer service support is lacking. Sometimes in the app, I can't find the answer, but if I search the internet, I can usually find an easy-to-understand answer.
Cost is also a bit of a worry, but currently they do offer some great partnerships with organizations that support non-profits so that is helpful/

LImited staff, if gets the work done quickly for someone who already has more than a couple roles.
Limits our errors in posting
The calendar allows us to keep records and duplicate posts without going to other platforms and creating more work!

Affordable &Feature Rich, If Needed
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is still the most affordable social content creator in the Canadian market. Since their most recent platform update, the glitches in the content editor have improved some.
What do you dislike about the product?
The functionality of tagging other profiles in the content creator has become faulty, and the lack of ability for tag suggestions for X is very time consuming. I find I have to save the draft if I am going to leave my computer for any period of time, or the program will time-out and my drafts will be lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With 3 platforms to post to, it would be incredibly time consuming to go to each one - though I have had to do that on occasion when Hootsuite has gone down. However, the ability to stay in one browser tab (until I need to find exact X usernames), is apprecaited.
