What do you like best about the product?
Having used Hootsuite for nearly a year, I can say that it is an excellent tool for social media management.

One of the most significant advantages of Hootsuite is its user-friendly interface. It is easy to navigate and intuitive; even for those who are not very tech-savvy, many "tech-phobes" in the team have been able to pick it up and use it effectively. It's great that the platform allows you to schedule posts across multiple social media channels, saving the team and me so much time. We also use it to monitor our social media accounts for mentions and engage with our followers directly from the platform, which ensures we don't miss any incoming engagement.

Another thing I love about Hootsuite is its robust analytics and reporting features. The platform provides detailed reports on engagement, reach, and other metrics that are essential for measuring the success of your social media strategy. This allows us to take a test and learn approach when producing content without spending hours reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
However, one of the downsides of Hootsuite is that it can be pricey when adding additional users and using the apps within the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Hootsuite saves me time, improves efficiency, and provides critical data to make informed decisions.
This centralised approach Hootsuite enables me to take saves me time by streamlining social media management, making it more efficient and effective.

Easily manage all of your social channels in one platform

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite allows me to manage all social channels in one dashboard. The platform is simple to use and ensures no customer queries are missed. The content calendar enables us to schedule posts in advance and gives other teams visibility of our social media plan to ensure we are all aligned.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all DMs appear in the inbox. However, I think this is a restriction with Twitter/Facebook when the customer does not follow us rather than a Hootsuite issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The new inbox features will benefit our team as auto-replies can be generated, and prioritisation functions can be set up. These functions will ensure the most critical messages are replied to first and will give a better experience to our customers.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite's strength is its all-in-one place where I can access all of my organization's social media channels. It makes scheduling posts in advance so easy! I love the content calendar view, where I can visualize the week's content calendar. I also really appreciate the Hootsuite Team for their continued support and for adding more features to make SMMs' lives a little bit easier and more streamlined, too.
What do you dislike about the product?
A downside is that there is currently no alt-text feature for Instagram yet. I also think the competitive benchmarking analysis tool can be improved to more easily track audience growth, engagement, etc. of peers. I understand it was recently launched, so I am excited to see what new features or updates will happen in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows a all-in-one space where I am able to curate, create, and monitor all of my organization's social media accounts. While I don't utilize this as much, it is also a great space for collaborating with other colleagues who also have access to create and post.

What do you like best about the product?
The user experience is clean and the platform is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There still needs to be some development on analytics to allow for better exports in a presentable format or dashboard display.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're managing a number of social media platforms in our own team, as well as over 100 across the entire team. Having the ability to see all content, analyse based on topic and theme, gives us a clear picture of the contnet and how it is performing.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Hootsuite most useful for managing large scale businesses, controlling multiple teams at once and monitoring what is being published across social platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find a lack of features, e.g. not being able to publish instragram stories directly without logging onto the app itself, or not having the ability to add music to a TikTok
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to manage multiple teams across our business as this may have caused issues previously with each team/individual having their own perspective on what should go out.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite hosts a very comprehensive analytics page which helps me identify teams that may be falling behind on their engagement and posting requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like for Hootsuite to pull better data on Instagram Reels and TiKTok personal accounts as none of our properties have TikTok business accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For us, we have a hard time tracking analytics across our 90+ accounts that we oversee. They offer solutions for us to pull in data for individual accounts or all accounts combined. They also allow us to track important hashtags related to our brands which ensure we are staying on top of content and conversations.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite has been an incredible tool to consolidate our needs as a company. With over 180 social profiles, monitoring accounts in-platform can be challenging and Hootsuite has really alleviated a ton of that lift by being able to see all things in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I think the only challenge for us is that our businesses use personal TikTok accounts and because of that, we can't connect those profiles to HS. Otherwise, no complaints!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I mentioned on the first page, we have over 180 social profiles to monitor and maintain, so seeing all of that in one place, especially from an analytics standpoint, is incredibly helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Hootsuite is how helpful the team and account representatives are. It never takes long to get ahold of someone! Their solutions are quick and effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the interface can be a bit overwhelming at times and difficult to organize. Information is coming in from many different angles, all at once! There are a lot of buttons and features!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's delivering the best, most up-to-date analytics to me! This makes my job easier, as I can pull this important information quicker and it to my teams. Less labour on my end!

What do you like best about the product?
To be able to post to different social platforms from one social draft. Along with seeing an overview of your social account's data month to month and Year to date.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Not being able to search posts on the account if you want to look back at older posts.
- Manually having to click through the selection of dates when I want to pull data, having to click the arrow to go back.
- Not being able to push out social posts to various social media distribution lists depending on what we want to be posted on our different franchise accounts.
- Not able to download our data in a format we would like from Hootsuite. Often Hootsuite downloads more information than needed.
- Having to refresh pages to see updates instead of them automically showing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to post to various social accounts and provide an approval process for our franchise accounts wanting to post on their social accounts. Along with data collecting on all our social platforms.

Great Experience with CSMs

What do you like best about the product?
Have been a Hootsuite Enterprise customer for five years now - have always had great experiences with their Customer Success team. Over the years, our account has had a few customer success managers, and each has been incredibly helpful, diligent and great to work with. They take customer feedback seriously, and some of our requests have become actual dashboard functionality.

Hootsuite does a great job of keeping enterprise customers up to date on the product road map, and their support team has always responded quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Social media schedulers are expensive and Hootsuite is no exception - we are an Enterprise account with 25 seats and Hootsuite is a significant expense for our team.

While the dashboard is good, some of the newer scheduling tools out there have a sleeker, more streamlined look. I think Hootsuite could be due for a dashboard overhaul in the near future to keep up with the look and feel of competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps us manage a number of social networks that would not be feasible to manage in the social networks' native Business tools. The level of customization allows different users to have different levels of access, keeping accounts managed only by those who should have access. The analytics function helps us report both individually and as a portfolio.
