Great platform for businesses.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is really easy to use and it has some great facilities, making scheduling social media content super easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
In my experience the platform crashes quite a lot and quite often posts would fail to publish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time management. If you're struggling for time, using Hootsuite will help you plan your content better and save time in the long-run.

Hasn't quite kept up with the times

What do you like best about the product?
I started using Hootsuite in 2013 when I was just changing careers and entering the marketing Industry. It was a really helpful platform: robust, versatile, and I REALLY appreciated the education opportunities with Hootsuite University. I got a number of certifications that were useful to my career. At the time, there weren't a lot of options for Social Media Management, so this platform really made sense for me at the time. It could do everything I needed it to: schedule content to many different platforms, allow me to monitor and reply to engagement, and gave me access to analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
As time went on, I found that the platform was a bit limiting, especially in regard to recycling evergreen content. They didn't have that option, so I started looking elsewhere. Then they had a very significant price increase several years ago, and it no longer made sense for me to use this tool when there were so many high-quality competitors that were much less expensive and did more that I needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is incredibly convenient to have access to all of my social platforms in one place, so Hootsuite does do that well. Creating Twitter lists within the platform was a huge timesaver for interacting with important accounts.

A stable platform for SM management

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a great platform to visualise the calendar, schedule posts and track analytics. Another important factor that helped us in making a decision to purchase Hootsuite subscription is their ability to allow us to integrate multiple profiles of same platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics sometimes are not upto the mark. They differ from what we see on LinkedIn or anything else. Also for the reporting purpose, you cannot send the reports to multiple stackholders internally unless you are on the top subscription plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In fact, many:
1. We have multiple SM handles as an organization, so it was good to have a platform like Hootsuite that could help us manage everything from one login.
2. Different teams, different users were using the handle so there was so much overlapping of posts. Now with Hootsuite, we can see the calender view and plan accordingly.
3. Identifying what worked well and what not, allows us to plan it better, including content type, time, days, etc.
4. Integrations are useful as well, something like social listening, hashtags identifications, CRM integration and so on.

Good Product, But Costly

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is a very robust social media scheduling and analytics software. They have an incredibly intuitive and simple user interface; arguably the best in the game.
What do you dislike about the product?
They were already too expensive to begin with, and they have done several price hikes this year alone that were even more unjustifiable. At this point, they are only effective for individuals or large marketing corporations handling multiple clients, but no one in the middle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helped us solve the issue of consistency in social media engagement, and with the issue of good measurement of performance on social media that we can act on.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple and attractive interface for social media software. Easy to learn and navigate the many tools and creative features Hootsuite offers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some accounts will unsync from time to time, but typically gets resolved fairly quick. Would be nice to have the ability to tag personal accounts on social platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time management and organization. Being able to schedule months in advance is very much needed that some social softwares do not offer. Schedule your content and move on to another more important task.

Hootsuite is held back by a lack of innovation. Content buckets, AI tools, and more.

Hootsuite is great for social media management. It has decent listening tools and basic scheduling tools.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Hootsuite allows me to post everything with just a copy and paste and a couple of clicks. It was very easy to figure out, and it has saved me so much time each week.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little that I dislike about Hootsuite. There are times I get an email saying that my post failed, which can be frustrating, but those emails and errors are few and far betwee.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows me to post to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter without having to take the time to log into each account and post separately. It keeps things super easy and fast.

What do you like best about the product?
It functions well enough as a scheduling tool with some decent features for approvals and analytics
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform interface feels outdated and clunky to use. It doesn't have a great user experience that matches the investment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While I don't use Hootsuite anymore, it does work as a basic scheduling too
