User friendly, overall good product

What do you like best about the product?
It's a great scheduler for social media content, especially with the feature of being able to schedule Reels & Stories. I like that it suggests the best time to post to ensure my audience can see it when they are online. As well, I love the stream feature as it helps me monitor multiple accounts that our organization takes care of.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, it's a good platform but I wish the analytics had more customization, or more explanation to help beginners utilize them better. As well, it is frustrating that messages that have been dismissed in the inbox can tend to resurface every now and then. It's easy to get rid of but still a hassle when it occurs. One feature I wish that it had would be saving frequently used hashtags like Later does.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall, it solves the issue of not having to post to multiple social media platforms in real time. I am able to fully take weekends off instead of worrying about if the Reel I scheduled was posted, etc.

An industry leader for a reason

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite stands above much of its competition due to how comprehensive it is. Just about any social media management tool or analytics you can think of is available here, eliminating the need to string together multiple platforms or services together. In particular, I've found that their social publishing tools are the most user-friendly of any platform and it genuinely feels like you are making a post natively on the platform of your choice. Rarely do I find that a feature is unavailable when posting via Hootsuite.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite can quickly become expensive, with some of the best tools and features locked behind the more expensive tiers. If you're a smaller business or running your social media marketing on a budget, this is potentially a big roadblock.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allowed me to manage six social media platforms from the comfort of one platform. It also gave me in-depth analytics that allowed me to analyse how our social channels were performing and actively shaped the planning of future social initiatives.

Does the job, but not very well

What do you like best about the product?
The biggest pro is the newsfeed. It is a great way to keep track of all the social platforms, and it helps eliminate the need to log into each account individually.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite is a great tool to schedule posts across multiple social media accounts. The downside is it has a cluttered interface. I found errors with my scheduled posts when they were actually posted such as missing links or images.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps me monitor all my social media in one view. I can also schedule social media campaigns, which allows me to be more efficient and focus on my community.

Loved Hootsuite until it became too expensive

What do you like best about the product?
I like the tweetdeck style social listening tools that also allows to have a column for Instagram hashtags that you may want to watch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite became considerably more expensive than it had been for us. This price increases forced us to look elsewhere for similar services and found we could get more for the same price with other services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helped us to schedule our social media posts, and to do basic social listening within their web interface. This allowed us to save time on our social media management tasks.

Make managing multiple social media accounts more manageable

What do you like best about the product?
The reporting is better than what the individual accounts provide natively. Also, the ability to schedule and batch posts to numerous accounts is extremely helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't see any option to compare myself to my competitors to provide benchmarks. Also, it would be nice if there were an option to use trending reel audios within Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite makes managing multiple social profiles much easier. Also, Hootsuite provides more robust reporting capabilities than what is available natively through the social media accounts individually.

No upgrades or improvements but so far everything is great

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite's content planner is extremely easy to use and provides a clean visual experience. My team can preview all social media posts, schedule in advance, and receive analytics afterward.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to asset size or formats, we are sometimes unable to upload and schedule large files such as animations. One potential improvement would be enabling larger formats — those animations are still usable when I post directly to the social media sites, but this does not allow me to schedule and manage all content from within Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool keeps our content strategy streamlined and organized all in one place. Advance scheduling, which some social media platforms do not allow, is also a huge benefit. It allows us to set up content weeks in advance so we may focus on other priorities outside of real-time publishing.

One tool for managing all our social media pages

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite's most significant benefit is that we can connect all of our social media profiles within its single dashboard. This makes writing, scheduling, and publishing a single post easier across all our social media profiles. Also, the tabbed layout of Hootsuite's UI is another perk, making it easy to separate interaction activities across all of our social media handles.
What do you dislike about the product?
The significant disadvantages of using Hootsuite are:
1. The pricing plan is a bit costly for small businesses.
2. Too much information in its dashboard can be confusing sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite has been a helpful tool for managing our multiple social media profiles within its single dashboard. This tool saves us time and effort as we can publish across all of our social media handles by simply drafting and scheduling posts.

Switching from Hootsuite to Loomly

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite had a lot of features that allowed us to effortlessly manage clients' accounts. Mainly the client reports, data, and the year-in-review report.
What do you dislike about the product?
The high pricing and the fact that they do not have a way to export the client's entire scheduled posts for the month with captions and the pictures to match. We had to download the spreadsheet and then drag and drop each picture. It took forever! The software we used before and after Hootsuite both provide that option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are no longer using Hootsuite for our publishing software for our clients. We have now switched to Loomly and are satisfied with our options and most importantly...the pricing,
