Overpriced, bloated, and glitchy
What do you like best about the product?
Has a lot of tools if you want to track various analytics and work with teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Massively increased prices recently, bloated with inessential features, strange glitches and wonkiness for the price paid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was meant to help me manage my social media presence efficiently, but I stopped using it when they jacked up the price without adding useful features.
Reliable and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The reliability I have come to expect from Hootsuite has resulted in a deep trust for both the program and the insights it generates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind. The format is easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite is allowing me to get a handle on the various social media efforts I engage in on behalf of my employer. Before utilizing Hootsuite in this way, it was a proverbial dog's breakfast of data.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is one of the oldest and most trusted players in the social media management space. It's famous for its ease to use and option to integrate with all the popular social media platforms. We like its inbuilt tool of social listening to track and understand changing customer needs through data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of Hootsuite is the absence of the option to create content for the social media platforms inside the software. Also, I feel the pricing is on the higher side compared to its competition. In addition, the customer support is also poor and the turn around time is also a bit longer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps you to solve the following:

Saves time and hassle, couldn't live with it!
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to set and forget our social media posts ahead of time is a godsend. We used (try!) to write social media posts, but just can't keep up. Hootsuite allows us to consistently plan and post at the best times without scrambling for content in a rush.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics are amazing, but sometimes find them a little hard to use or easily get the information we need, maybe just not user-friendly enough for people with our basic level of understanding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to manage our time and posting better content at the best times. Hootsuite doesn't seem that cheap, but it is worth it as we are able to improve our social media presence and quality too.
Complete Social Media Tool for Small Busines Owners
What do you like best about the product?
I like the layout of the Admin Panel. It is easy to navigate and schedule interactions. The most helpful for me is the generous free plan to get started with more than enough features and tools. This makes it scalable as you grow into the Professional Plan.
What do you dislike about the product?
The FREE plan does get you started. However, the next step up is priced a little higher than most, and the level above could be a budget breaker for businesses on a small marketing budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When using the upgraded plan, you get a complete set of marketing tools to help you with social media marketing at every level. The analytics and the help tools are perfect for someone who runs their marketing personally. Overall It is an easy-to-understand interface with enough to get you started or run an entire marketing organization.

The ability to program posts in advance all from one platform, as well as the fact that you can edit them before posting.

Sometimes we have difficulty tagging other accounts on various social media platforms.

Hootsuite is a major help because we post a lot on social media daily and we are able to schedule posts days in advance.

What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite is clunky and buggy. It's prices have also rocked up!
Also, The user interface is very similar despite a lick of paint.

Hootsuite helps in saving time. You don't need to fret across social media pages in order to make a similar post.

Very handy software for social media posting
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can make 1 post for multiple accounts at the same time. And it shows the maximum character count.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tagging doesn't always work very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posting on multiple accounts at the same time. That saves me a lot of time.
Excellent System for automating your socials
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is very simple to use and makes posting on multiple social media accounts for our different brands very easy, saving time and money.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am yet to find something I dislike and I use it 2-3 times per week.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite saves me time and money.
Makes Social Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Managing social media is messy if your company has more than four or five channels. If you are an agency with multiple clients, it's nearly impossible to tend to dozens of accounts from a single computer (logging in and out would take hours). Platforms like Hootsuite simplify social media by giving users access to their channels in one program. Hootsuite makes it easy to see what's going out and when, making for less stress and less miscommunication. Its analytics make weekly and monthly reports easy - no need to export data from each account. It's easy to obtain a report and show it to management.
What do you dislike about the product?
For some time Instagram would often come uncoupled, but since then, the problem has been fixed. Some vigilance is needed to make sure all accounts are synced. Hootsuite is the big player in the market, and as expected, it comes with a hefty price tag, but this is cost-effective with agencies who have to deal with 20 or 40 total social media accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite makes scheduling and visualizing social media easy. It takes a lot of stress out of my job.
