Hootsuite or Sprout?
What do you like best about the product?
I like Hootsuite because it is simple to use and the interface is easy to navigate. The scheduling process and analytics dashboard are especially simple, allowing us to quickly and easily execute a variety of social media tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The stream feel somewhat limiting in our plan, as do the reports. Unlike Sprout Social, which I’m also certified in and use more than HS, Sprout allows for more report customization, it offers the Smart Inbox, which is amazing, and we even get baseline competitor analysis tools. Many of those options aren't available unless you switch plans, and the price jump from the Team to Professional is fairly significant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I saw HS updated the analytics dashboard, which is helpful. Another tool Sprout Social offers that's useful.
Super easy to navigate
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate with good tools that allow complete control.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited post editing ability, if there were more, it would allow more functionality in one place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing our marketing team to be more efficient by using one tool to do the work of multiple repetitive processes.
Hootsuite is an excellent tool and platform to organize your social materials all in one place.
What do you like best about the product?
Hoosuite is nicely laid out and easy to look at. All of the options I hoped would be there, are plus some more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Added tips to increase engagement would be very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hoosuite is saving time. We all work such busy days and social media can take more time than many people think.
Hootsuite is a most convenient way to launch social media publications at a tactical time and date.
What do you like best about the product?
Social Media publications are best when published at the most desirable time and date. Hootsuite allows me to load my publications at a time that is convenient for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hootsuite does not accept the longer-formed Newsletters that I publish in LinkedIn.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Hootsuite is the fact that you don't have to learn anything new to post to your social media networks. It's all in one place and that's why I like it so much. What I like best about Hootsuite is that I can schedule a post and then I don't have to worry about it being shared on all my social media accounts, it just happens.Hootsuite is a very efficient platform for handling multiple social media platforms
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost and Value for Money: The pricing jumps noticeably between plans, and key advanced features (such as bulk scheduling or advanced analytics) are locked behind higher tiers. For small businesses or solopreneurs, that makes the overall cost difficult to justify, especially if you don’t need a full suite of higher-tier tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem Hootsuite is solving is that people are able to monitor multiple social media accounts at the same time. This is beneficial to any social media manager as it allows them to keep an eye on what's happening on every account.
It's not perfect, but it's close!
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to see my posts laid out over the week or month. I also like that posts can be saved as drafts for later, or easily adjusted to a different time, date, or user.
What do you dislike about the product?
If the photo you're trying to upload is larger than 5 MB nothing will happen; Hootsuite doesn't let me know the file is too large anymore which can be confusing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows me to post when I'm on the go, creating a smooth schedule and making engaging with our audience easier while on the go

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is for me to post the same thing on all our accounts and how easy it is to switch between which account I want to look at.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I make an edit to a post on more than one account, it keeps both copies of the post, and I have to go back in and remove the post that I do not want posted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reaching out to all of our customers, followers, vendors, employees, etc. This is our primary way of telling everyone when we are closed for holidays.
All-in-one Social media management
What do you like best about the product?
The scheduling feature and now they added reels so that made it 10x easier
What do you dislike about the product?
The limit of only 5 scheduled posts on a free account and my engagement on my posts are lower when I use 3rd party apps like hootsuite

Solving the problem is 'ghosting' my social media and increases my time management/ efficiency

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to schedule posts ahead of time - The reliability that the posts will post. The recommended post time feature is also great.
What do you dislike about the product?
That you can write a caption for three different platforms in one spot, but aren't able to adjust the images all at the same time (ex. I want the post to be a carousel for IG, but only one photo for Twitter).

What do you like best about the product?
The analytics within Hootsuite are really useful. We also find that the suggested times scheduling tool is great.

I am quite new to Hootsuite so yet to find many downsides.

It is helping us realise where our weaknesses are with our social posting.
