Hootsuite - Needs more features
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite connects well with various social media platforms. Easy to use and schedule posts in advance. Good metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't schedule stories for Hootsuite. No advanced features. Needs more app extensions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite solves the problem of sharing posts "live." It gives you the benefit of scheduling social media posts in advance and providing basic metrics. Helps save time and gives insight on performance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great tool for basic social media utility. For large companies or dual-purpose solutions, look elsewhere!
Not worth the $$
What do you like best about the product?
Listening was a great tool, Megan was awesome, it was a great tool for publishing to IG/FB, but not for reels and for TikTok because of all the API issues still.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our onboarding was TERRIBLE. We had to reach out for help and the help we did get the person knew nothing about the platform or what anything meant so he kept saying hed have to get back to us. It made everythng take so long. Then, the data had tons of bugs and the numbers were always wrong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None - I genuinely think that every other platform out there is better than Hootsuite. If you're looking for an expensive tool to use for content planning you can use this.
A cost effective way to manage everything!
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to navigate through Hoot suite Social Media Management Enterprise. It makes it very easy to schedule the content and share the post on various platforms. We can consolidate social media management channels in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
What we dislike about Hoot suite Social Media Management Enterprise is that there is an error when we post something on Instagram and because of this error we have to manually go to Instagram to post something. We cannot schedule videos to be posted on social media.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hoot suite Social Media Management Enterprise helps us to view the last post for the analysis. We can easily plan and schedule posts on multiple platforms. We can easily plan to post on various social media platforms. WE can post on multiple social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook etc, with different hashtags and captions. We can schedule this post to be published in advance so that we stop worrying about the timing or delay of the post.
Great analytics, but mobile post scheduling could use some work
What do you like best about the product?
Love the analytics and how you can customize the data visualization and create custom reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how buggy the mobile post notifications are. I rarely receive them, which means scheduling stories is not reliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling to TikTok is an excellent new feature. Being able to use their analytics is great for tracking growth.

Hootesuite tells users the best time to post and makes it easy to post from one place

Carousels are posted out of order when scheduled through Hootesuite

Great tool- but expect glitches and breakdowns often

Hootsuite is cost-effective, has great features and now has the capacity to publish straight to TikTok

Common glitches like content being duplicated, publishing content while in draft form, customer service team is not as responsive or helpful as I would have likes, especially when you have an issue and need immediate answers.

It is a one stop shop for a social media manager's needs. You can publish, get insights, do community management, and do social listening all in one place.
Absolute disgrace
What do you like best about the product?
NOTHING. it is a load of RUBISH ! and a CON.
What do you dislike about the product?
everything the system and people who answer the emails are all incompetent and treat customers like me like idiots .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nothing they have taken an annual subscription and don't want to resolve an issue. Basically, they took the money and ran.

Hootsuite for social media automation
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to pre-plan and automate social posts in one place. I can go in weekly to create and verify upcoming posts instead of setting reminders to go in and do each individually
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to title posts to make looking at the calendar a little easier. It would help tremendously with creating placeholders for future posts

Hootsuit has helped us automate our social media. We are a small team without a dedicated social media person, so it has allowed us to keep up with posts, trends, and analytics
Good for basic social media scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
The Twitter features are good for keeping a track of brand mentions. It's also easy to schedule posts and view what posts are coming up to be posted.
What do you dislike about the product?
The desktop app can feel clucky and old fashioned. It can also be slow to edit images or upload videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling social media posts ahead of time.
Easy to use and great visualisation!
What do you like best about the product?
Love the scheduling publisher tool, dashboard guidelines and analytics tools! I also like the social score when you log in' it motivates me to improve.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only bug is that you cannot tag and connect LinkedIn people contacts in scheduled posts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solutions include: scheduling social media posts in advance and visualising them easily with the publishing tool; in-depth insights presented simply on the reporting dashboards, easy to customise. I also like the inbox and stream functionality which helps me stay on top of community management.
