User Friendly Social Management Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is straightforward and easy to follow. I have been using Hootsuite for almost 4 years now and they continue to make updates/improvements that make sense from a user standpoint. Most recently, they have a simple to read rating of your social presence and activity vs others in your industry. We also really enjoy the suggested times to post based on your audience
What do you dislike about the product?
About once per month there seems to be a glitch with posting, typically on Instagram. They do send you an email so you're made aware and there's a popup when you log in but it's frustrating nonetheless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing multiple social media counts efficiently with prescheduling posts and having a piece of mind they are done for ourselves and our clients!

Best Tool to schedule social media posts
What do you like best about the product?
Interface of the application and ability to post on several platforms simultaneously.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing that I disliked. It's just that the cheaper alternatives are available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have to open different platforms and post content. I can post on all of them using hootsuite.
Hootsuite: a great productivity enhancing tool for small businesses
What do you like best about the product?
This app saves so much time for scheduling and posting information to social media, it enables small consulting operations like mine to greatly expand their outreach efforts to a much wider potential audience
What do you dislike about the product?
This great time-saving software package has a couple of small glitches that are surprising and most unwelcome in the context of 2022. Its requirement that a user login every so often is annoying but perhaps necessary to maintain security. The glitch lies in the absence of the usual time-tested features. The most essential is the option to display a password. When typing ordinary text, a user gets immediate visual feedback that confirms or denies the match between what the user intended to type vs. what they actually typed. Receiving an error message after a mistyped password takes more time than the self-correction that a user would make if they could see the password as they typed it. An error message also interrupts a user's train of thought. It would also be useful if the app had an option that the sole user of a computer could invoke that directed the app to remember the user's email.
When I upgraded from the free version to the "team" version, I was disappointed to find that the scheduling app was not as "aware" as the version that I had been using in the free version, Indeed, I had been impressed by how "smart" the free version's scheduling had been. For example, when scheduling a series of posts on the same day, the free version always defaulted to the last time that ai had entered; so all I had to do was to modify the minute, or maybe the hour and minute; I never had to reenter the date. By contrast, the "team' version often throws an error message before I have specified the full date, hour, and am/pm specification. Again, error messages interrupt a user's train of thought. I suggest that the app withholds all error messages until the user clicks the "Done" button.
These are minor glitches compared to the larger functions the package provides, but they are encountered every time a user is forced to log in again, and they occur on many user attempts to schedule an item.. Therefore they are far more visible than the usual glitches one encounters when using any application.

My biggest problem as a one-man operation is the fact that I am a one-man operation. Hootsuite squashes that problem by amplifying my productivity.
My Experience with Hootsuite
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to schedule a post and the UX/UI is very good. It's improved over time since I started using it in 2016/17. A lot of the other competitors don't include story postings for Instagram and there's a lot of integrations with all social media platforms so it's one of the best social media management tools out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that only the free/basic account only allows 2 social media accounts. I wish there was a scope to extend this as I'd like to add at least one or two more accounts on there but the paid accounts or premium accounts are too expensive for me to afford especially as an early-stage startup. I hope Hootsuite and the team can have a look into making these options cheaper.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the problems I'm trying to solve with Hootsuite is finding the best/optimal time to post content and not all the post I'm scheduling includes suggestions for times. I'm also trying to solve posting and scheduling content all in one place without having to individually post content on each platform. The benefits I've realised include solving this exact problem; easy method to schedule posts all in one go.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend using Hootsuite to manage your social media accounts. Its UX/UI allows such an easy and non-complex experience and it's easily integrable with a lot of the social media platforms.
It makes our company workflow so much better - I asked for a monthly calendar and it showed up!
What do you like best about the product?
Monthly Calendar function, pretty looking, analytics! I have a really positive experience daily and it helps my work flow a lot. I have nothing but positive things to say about the service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of easy access to tasking. I have a team of 2 and it is annoying that I'd need to step up a premium account just to do things like pending approval, etc. Not viable for a second person only to go all the way up almost 3x price when that is the only functionality. Some more flexibility in the plan options would be great?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media problems, mostly. We have a lot of accounts and managing them all manually would be toxic. Hootsuite makes my job not be a miserable experience! I love it. Owl is cute.
Impressed: Honest Review
What do you like best about the product?
It's not too pricey as compared to another alternative. Setting up all the social media accounts to Hootsuite was too quick and easy. We can see all our accounts in the dashboard/on one page itself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything which I experienced with Hootsuite was too easy. But their platform doesn't seem to be interactive and responsive on mobile view. Also, while uploading an image or video with a mobile device it throughs an error (sometimes).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Hootsuite to automate our posting to social media and watching analytics on our social media accounts. So that we can improve where we are lagging.
Easy Peasy
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that I can schedule many posts for several platforms once a week instead of daily. My day is filled with last-minute demands, so it really takes the heat off!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the mobile app was a little more user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had trouble linking our Facebook page, but we got it figured out.
Seamlessly User Friendly Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy how it is easy to navigate through the platform. It makes it so easy for me to schedule my content and share my posts on various platforms in a smart and orderly manner. Additionally, it doesn't take long to get assistance from the service team whenever i have any trouble with the scheduling. I have been using Hootsuite since 2019 and ever since, I haven't missed a post.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be great if there could be a platform that draws up reports for the month with social media statistics and engagement strategies on how to improve posts next time. It would be great to improve on the content library too
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with various clients and Hootsuite really helps me plan my work for each of the clients and share content on different platforms. I am literally a superhuman because of Hootsuite!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are sharing content on a lot of sites, you should consider paying a premium because it allows you to connect more than just 2 accounts. Also, it would be beneficial to attend some of the webinars they conduct to learn more about how to be a great social media manager
Great one stop site for Social Media
What do you like best about the product?
I like having just one site to go to and be able to post content across multiple social media platforms.
I really like that you can enter futue posts and schedule them at the best time that is recommneded at the time you are ready to post
I really like that you can enter futue posts and schedule them at the best time that is recommneded at the time you are ready to post
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little too expensive a service and at the current cost, seems like not enough value for me. But you don't offer any other solutions at a lower cost that would offer enough any of the features of the most basic paid subsciption. I feel that the basic membership doesn't offer enough to even bother using Hootsuite and therefore doesn't have any value to me. It's a high cost to pay for even just the minimum features on the lowest level paid subscription. If there was a company that could offer the same features for a lower cost, I would move my business right away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving time having to post on multiple SM platforms and the security of entering content for future dates which eases my mind about missing important posts and making sure that there content ongoing.
